Please I need urgent help, I paid for my 2 dependant IHS with my UBA dollar card. My account got debited , got transaction confirmation email from IHS with transaction reference, yet I noticed on the portal, it kept taking me back to pay IHS again instead of moving to Visa payment.
Though when I made the payment, it wrote payment declined on the portal but IHS still sent confirmation email to me and I also got debited.
I called UBA customer care they said, they can only accept if I could attach decline mail I got from the IHS but I didn't get any decline mail.. |

Hi, I'll like to send you an email/ Personal message ,I need your personal view on some issues. Thanks a bunch tolajay: I am unsure what your grouse is, but you've evidently become too emotional about a logical issue.
First, my comment wasn't an attack on anyone but a sympathetic analysis of some Nigerians' plight who think luck and insha is all they'll need to function in a structured society like the UK.
Let me ask you, have you seen or heard many Nigerian students stranded abroad because they didn't do their due diligence before leaving but were simply optimistic that anyhow anyhow dem go survive? Well, I see and hear it everyday. Shy away from it for all you want, it doesn't change the obvious truth. There are consequences for every action and inaction.
Another angle: do you know the number of UK-schooled Nigerians who returned home with/to almost nothing? Well, I know, see and hear this a lot. Most of them would have been better off if they stayed and invested those money in themselves back home...Sad truth!
Just last week, a Nigerian student was all over the internet seeking accommodation. Someone had to warn him because he was flaunting a major immigration declaration on accommodation.
Also, did you hear of Nigerian who couldn't his tuition after nine months, and the school asked him to withdraw and reported to the home office? May I ask what assistance you've given to these ones?
See, you may not like facing the truth, it still doesn't change the truth.
Your sense of entitlement and worldview is grossly abashed by the Nigerian society. You need to reshape.
Lastly, how did you conclude that we are on the same pedestal because of a couple of post on a faceless forum? Gullibility is no excuse for underachievement. You really need to expand your mental scope.
I wish you the best...Tap me when you're in the UK. |

Good day Everyone, I had been patiently following this thread for a while now. I'm a medical Doctor who had worked like 10years in Nigeria, I'm currently seeking to use Study Visa route into UK by offering a Masters in medical field.... Possibly Public health While I hustle for my Licencing Exams over there I need advice from experienced folks in the UK to enlighten me.
1) Which University is advisable.. I'm considering Sheffield Hallam cos of the low fee though my choice is actually University of Sheffield. Is Sheffield Hallam worth it? Also Edinburgh University
2) Is Masters in Public health lucrative over there as per job prospect.
3) How possible is it to be on Tier4 Visa and be running licencing program concurrently.
4) Which is advisable England (Sheffield or Scotland (Edinburgh)? Considering Job prospect, Standard of Living and Family settling.
Thks in anticipation of your patient answers ☺️ |
