Coolitempq:I think you just confirmed my point. Before 1999 Yorubas were TIRED of Nigeria and wanted to leave because of the June 12 crisis. When IBB's government annulled MKO victory it was seen as a Northern hold on power and led to the formation of nationalist groups like the OPC which claimed self determination for Yorubaland as one of its aims. It is on record that many prominent Igbos stood with MKO and his fight for his mandate to be President yet by 1999 when the North conceded power to another Yoruba man (Obasanjo) OPC was attacking Igbos that had supported MKO and shown them southern solidarity when they needed it. Tinubu who rose to prominence by making noise about June 12 and self determination, did little or nothing to avert the genocide in his state or even talk about self determination again. As an Osun state man claiming omo eko I believe he had to unite Yorubas with a common "threat" and actually encouraged tribalism to divert attention from his plan to pocket Lagos I was born and bred in Lagos and I noticed attitudes towards Igbos start to change when Tinubu became governor. |
Igboland and the Niger Delta (except Edo) are the only places in Nigeria where there have never been an industry of bigotry against strangers or any orchestrated genocide as he been recorded in every other part of the country. Igbo amaka from time |
Coolitempq:In fairness to the people of the SW the violent antagonism towards people of other tribes is a Tinubu creation and brainchild since he became governor in 1999 and now owner of Lagos. For example if you check well relations between Igbos and Yorubas deteriorated since the Alaba murders of Igbos by OPC while he was governor and a big godfather of Gani Adams. Tinubu is the reason why the South is divided today. |
Orikinla:It appears the appeals without proper strategic action may have failed |
With the reported famine in the north-east we can see that the government failed woefully in preventing it despite clear signs. After buhari will seek re-election and win again based on bigotry |
OP - you just busted one of the biggest most hypocritical and shameless revisionist lies in Nigerian history. Kudos |
MyGeneration:War? I disagree. Even the north knows the country is going to crack and they are preparing seriously. Moreover you need to look at history before you make sweeping statements. The Europe of 1884 that gave rise to Nigeria and other colonial contraptions like Nigeria and others has changed a lot. The British Empire that cobbled Nigeria together is gone. Open your eyes |
Operation "Snake In The Monkey Shadow" is just another symbol of the foolishness that is the second name of this govt. Buhari's bigotry has made him deploy military resources in the most peaceful part of the country just days after the Amnesty International report on murder of Ipob activists went viral? |
Cunny man die, cunny man bury am ![]() Fulani are masters of politics. Plan your alliance dem go change am for you. But will likes of power hungry overconfident men like tinubu learn? I doubt it |
Any SE "leader" that buys into this seduction by the north/buhari will be stained forever. I am very sorry for the ones who think that the Igbos of today with eyes wide open will tolerate sellouts. Who get ear make e hear o |
OKURINMETA:Op I don find that song tire. Youtube, internet, everywhere. It had Orits Wiliki, his wife, Soultan (the hausa singer) and the late Harry Mosco. I will ask Orits Wiliki on FB |
ImperialYoruba:You lot dont want Oduduwa Republic anymore? At least speed up your sham regional integration make we know say una serious. We need distance from you people and your politics. Abi una no understand? We are different. Please take the likes of OUK with you we dont things like it in the new ala Igbo that is loading. Thanks |
This is what happens when you have an olodo administration in power. I hope they dont send DSS to arrest farmers like Idi Amin's Uganda |
Award winning puppet. See him at the Seriki Obalende's home before the elections last year. Afforded no dignity in the least
|
unstableaswater:Very shameful picture!! Yet before elections our bros dem for south west disown us say dem get more in common with north ![]() |
I no fit laugh. When Jonathan was president SW peeps spat on calls for southern unity, repeatedly cursing SE/SS and parroting "north respect our culture" bla bla bla we warned them ![]() Now SW youths are marching upandan shouting Tinubu is our oga because jungle don mature and lion (north) no dey share spoils with hyena (SW), highest na rotten leftover e go take pose for vulture. As per this joke of an alliance by some faceless igbo political hustlers all I can say is buhari is about to be conned. The ppl he is talking to cannot deliver jack votes. If IPOB says stay home fowl nyash go open. Anybody who knows the east of today knows this, no be by noise. This proposed demonic alliance is DOA in the SE/SS.

citizenY:Awwww cute trolling |
seunmsg:It is not as simple as that. Nigeria isnt Philippines and Buhari is NO Duterte. He does not have Duterte's balls either and will not in a million years. Duterte threatened to shut US military bases in his country and Obama shrank like a mouse. Kenya means more to US than Nigeria so think well. The northern establishment has been courting Obama for ages and he backed Buhari over Jonathan. You make another error of assuming that the relationship between Russia and the US will be the same henceforth as it was under the pro-sunni Obama administration. The world isnt set in stone, its steadily evolving and states realigning |
seunmsg:Obama leaned in favour of the sunni muslim/northern establishment so they turned a blind eye to human rights abuses and massacres of people in the south-east in the streets and even in churches over self determination. Now Obama and his accomplice have been swept away and we have hope that Trump's govt will frown at such. Shikena |

How A Trump Victory Benefits The Indigenous People Of Eastern Nigeria [MUST READ] While the Lower Niger Congress’ official statement on the outcome of US 2016 Presidential Elections is being finalized, I will hint our folks here that the position the LNC as an organization took on the directions as candidates emerged, is anchored on a thoroughly researched institutional memory, especially as touching on the Igbo Question in Nigeria. Key amongst the issues considered were (1) the fact that the 1968 US Presidential Elections the brought Nixon, was decided largely by the question of the genocide in Biafra in which the Democratic Administration headed by President LB Johnson was in cahoots with the Britain for economic considerations, even as orf Americans writhed in pain and aguish, sacrificing much to try to save the dying children in Biafra, to the point where 20 years college boy Bruce Mayrock set himself on fire at the UN, in protest to what the US Government was doing with Biafra. Those who know, will confirm that the emergence of Republican Nixon radically altered what the consequences of losing the war for the surviving Biafrans could have been. Yes, assets were confiscated and punitive policies that reduce Eastern Nigeria to the dreg of the Nigerian political space, were imposed. The proposal by Northern hawks in the Gowon War Cabinet, led by Usman Katsina, governor of Northern Region, about wiping off the surviving males in Biafra, was blocked by the emergence of the Republican administration in the US. Many here would remember the name: Henry Kissinger . Fast forward to 2011-2015. By commission or omission, it was again a Democratic Party administration that spearheaded and supervised the frustration and extirpation of the providential opportunity to reverse the enslavement of Eastern Nigeria by the conspiratorial alliance of the Nigeria, when it aided the vicious hounding and ousting of a Jonathan that was heading irreversibly in the direction of revisiting the foundations of Nigeria. We saw John Kerry, interfere door-to-door with the 2015 Election, foisting an extremist Caliphate hawk who robustly participated in that gory genocidal episode, on Nigeria as President, Buhari, and who immediately resumed the unfinished 1966-70 business of annihilating Easterners, especially Nd’Igbo. I was directly involved in the hot part of the marauding that took place and we very narrowly got Jonathan escaping the re-enactment of the Ironsi treatment and the consequential 3.5 million deaths in Eastern Nigeria. (Nothing partisan in terms of PDP or APC, plain life-and-death disputations between the Caliphate and “the slave” from Otuoke). It is not that Donald Trump the individual, will go out of his way to do anything spectacular for Eastern Nigeria as some Biafran Propagandists naively peddle, but his emergence removes from Washington, the enablers of the tormentors of the Eastern Region and creates a huge vista of opportunities for Eastern Nigeria to engage the existential challenges confronting it in Nigeria. Again, on behalf of the LNC, I have been directly involved in the Washington-New York Diplomatic Tunnels on the issues relating to the Eastern Nigeria Question in Nigeria On the other hand, those now in Abuja (or maybe I should say, Daura) with whom John Kerry and his Principals in Washington worked, to wrought the change we now have which ruinously aggravates the already terrible situation of Eastern Nigeria, already know that they have a new reality in their hands. The rampaging, bloodletting Islamic movement in Nigeria has suffered a heavy blow this morning. Tony Nnadi is a leader of the Lower Niger Congress, an organisation that advocates for a UN supervised referendum to decide the structure of Nigeria |

Umu Igbo this is a great day. The divisive, evil, homosexually centred democrat Obama cult not only installed an Igbo hating genocidal buhari it has continued to divide Nigeria by courting the north shamelessly as we have been observing. I cannot forget this part of Kerry's speech recently at the Sultan of Sokoto's palace - "Nnamdi Azikiwe said 'lets forget our differences' but Ahmadu Bello said 'lets understand our differences'. When I saw the Arewa leaders applaud him for that I realised what Obama wanted to achieve. When northern governors recently went to America it became very clear. If the north contributed to Clinton's campaign na them sabi. There's a new sheriff in town. Back to square one. |
chloro:Tekno had already replaced him as the face of Made Men. Mavins will re-energise him |
Iyanya is the latest member of Don Jazzy's SMD (Supreme Mavins Dynasty). Don Jazzy revealed this via his twitter handle short while ago. This looks set to grant Iyanya a second phase in his career since his split from his previous partner and Made Men Records CEO, Ubi-Franklin Ofem. Congrats Iyanya!
