PoliticsRe: IPOB - Government And Evil Politicians Created Unknown Gunmen by joeyfire(m): 4:03pm On Feb 26, 2022
nku5:
IPOB has consistently distanced itself from unknown gunmen but the fact is that there are plenty of hoodlums and terrorists springing up in igbo land under the canopy of what IPOB/ESN has started.

When you arm young men and train them to fight you are creating an opportunity for violence that you may or may not be able to control. It's very disappointing that ESN has not been able to apprehend the killers, instead all we hear is denials and press releases like this. They should be the ones entering the forest camps and taking out the terrorists

The truth is that ESN was a terrible idea that has practically finished IPOB. Ndi Igbo are very proud, stubborn people and will slowly but surely rise against this nonsense by themselves when they are fed up. By that time IPOB will be redundant laughing stock and fringe group
Gbam! The biggest tragedy is that now they have lost control of the monster. I heard that school girls at Ihiala were recently molested by these bastards called unknown gunmen. These clowns that called them umu elohim won't talk about it.

Their cup will soon be full...we had boys oye in the 80s then bakassi boys in the 90s. When ndi Igbo formulate a violent solution to deal with them it will be bloody

Preliminary investigations show that youths in the community actually risked their lives to go and help people at the cattle market after the attack.

"The leader of the Fulani socio-cultural association was reacting to the assertions by Southern and Middle Belt leaders who, after a meeting earlier in the month, declared that they would not support any presidential candidate from the North. Their reason was that power should rotate to the south in 2023.

He stated that no Southern presidential aspirant would get the support of the Fulani people unless they pledge to repeal laws banning open grazing and bring back the controversial grazing routes that had been outlawed in many states in the South."

Artisan market where this happened is a much smaller cattle market than the one in Abia but this happened -

"Tension enveloped Enugu on Thursday evening as Hausa cattle traders at the New Artisan Market attacked government officials and destroyed a police vehicle.

The PUNCH gathered that trouble started when officials of the state government went to demolish the New Artisan Market following an order of the State High Court, which was said to have declared the market a security threat because of its proximity to the Government House.

However, an attempt to effect the execution was fiercely resisted by the Hausa traders, who reportedly went inside the market, brought several AK-47 rifles and chased away the officials and police detachment.

An eyewitness, who gave his name as Sampson Okorie, told our correspondent that the gun wielding Hausa traders also seized two bulldozers the state government deployed to the market and destroyed police Hilux vehicle

The vehicle, according to him, was abandoned by the police, who ran for their life when they could not escape with it."

PoliticsHURIWA: Mercenaries Behind Abia Cattle Market Attack by joeyfire(op): 8:47am On Feb 18, 2022
Civil rights advocacy group, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, has alleged that the Tuesday attack on Abia State cattle market, which claimed eight persons, was carried out by “members of the deep state and foreign mercenaries”.

This is as the group also alleged that the attackers are “members of the security forces or foreign mercenaries hired by Miyetti Allah Cattle Owners Association”, to resist the anti-open grazing legislation in the South-East.

The group made the allegation in a statement jointly signed by HURIWA National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, and its National Media Director, Miss Zainab Yusuf, on Thursday.

The group, in the statement titled, ‘Abia Cattle Market Attack Done to Inflict War on South-East: – Says HURIWA’, noted that the attack was aimed at “instigating killing of Ndigbo living in the far North and to spread civil conflicts between Igbo and their Northern brethren”.

The statement read in part, “We urge the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Governors of the South-East of Nigeria and the Igbo World Congress to jointly hire forensic and security experts and investigators from any part of the world to uncover the exact identities of the so-called unknown gunmen who the rights group believed are members of the security forces or foreign mercenaries hired by Miyetti Allah Cattle Owners Association angered by the anti-open grazing legislation in the South-East.

“And are now on a mission to start off civil war by attacking peaceful cattle owners just so the North will boil in anger and to transfer the aggression and reprisals on peaceful Igbo citizens of Nigeria living legitimately with their Northern brothers/sisters.”

It added, “The South-East of Nigeria is under attack by outsiders who want to cash in on the nebulous anti-cow posture of IPOB to attack northerners in the East so as to achieve their daredevil agenda and the silence and wilful inability of Nigeria’s security forces to uncover who the unknown gunmen are points to larger conspiratorial plots against the South-East of Nigeria by enemies of the Igbo"

His words are
The real deal have started, those that have yet to invested in local cows should do so now, because these is an opportunity for us to invest , a lot of igbo have already started doing the needful.
And the native cow is a good and nutritious meat than that of bororo

So you never heard that the final results of a census can only come after all the disputes and court cases about it have been addressed? What Balewa and Ahmadu Bello rejected were preliminary results. The final results that came after verification put the North ahead of the South and Michael Okpara and other Southerns rejected it and Balewa still allowed for a cancellation and then ordered a rerun in 1963. Deadlytruth:
[s]So Ademoyega is not human and hence above error or even deliberate falsification? I can't believe that this kind of person I met on NL today still exist in this life till date.

Let me lecture you a bit on why you don't have to scrutinize very well what you read even if written by direct participants.
You may again complain that I am writing epistles but it is worth it. Just take your time and read it patiently and you will get my drift.

For example; Ojukwu wrote in his "Because I am involved" that it was he who ordered and effected Awolowo's release from jail in order that he would work with or at least for Biafra as they allegedly agreed to.
We all know Ojukwu was actually involved in all those events of that period. No doubt about that at all. But putting on your thinking cap you would realize that Ojukwu lied to attract sympathy especially from people like you who aren't really cerebral enough to easily pick holes in claims. Now here are the holes in that claim.

1. Awolowo was released on the 2nd of August 1966 from Calabar prison. As at that day, Aburi meeting had not even been held talkless of Gowon reneging on the agreement which made Ojukwu later declare Biafra. Aburi Accord was held on January 4 and 5, 1967, and it was afterwards that the agreement broke down on getting back to Nigeria and the idea of secession now began to cross Ojukwu's mind. So how was it possible that Ojukwu was already reaching agreements with Awolowo on Biafra in August 2 the previous year i.e. at least four months before secession idea first occured to him?

2. Aguiyi Ironsi was dethroned and killed on July 29 and Gowon took over that day. Then Ojukwu began to insist on Ogundipe and expressed the premonition, albeit hypocritically, that the seed for disregard of seniority had been sown. This continued for days far past August 2 date of Awolowo's release which was just Gowon's third day in office. So how could Ojukwu who was still interested in having Nigeria get it right have been negotiating with Awolowo on secession from Nigeria at that same time?

3. The order that released Awolowo from Calabar prison in the Eastern Region where Ojukwu was Governor also release the likes of Enahoro, Alvan Ikoku and many other AG stalwarts who were jailed in Western and Northern Regions prisons. Now, who between Ojukwu the Eastern Region Governor and Gowon the military head of state had the power to give an order that would be effected in prisons in all regions simultaneously? You be the judge no if Ojukwu said the truth or lied despite being directly involved in those events.

Then in his "Why we Struck" Wale Ademoyega wrote that he and his colleagues had started planning the coup from as far back as mid-1961. But in another chapter he writes that the coup was planned to put a check on the unlawfulness being perpetrated in the Western Region.
Now ask yourself how a coup plot hatched in 1961 could have been because of the Western Region crises that started later in 1962. Did the coupists have the power to foretell the future?
So you see why you shouldn't rely entirely on the author of a narration even if he was a direct participant in the events he tries to narrate in his book.
Only an intellectually deficient person swallows everything in a book just because the author was himself involved. [/s]
Verbose, worthless nonsense
