Politics › Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by johannu(m): 10:02pm On Feb 16 |
Vifx: You can't possibly have "real time" transmission of results if the election election isn't done by electronic voting 😔 That is to tell you that most Nigerians don't know what real time means. What they should be asking for are: 1. Transmission of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) records to the IREV portal. 2. Inputting of election results in figures to the IREV portal. This would allow for easy tabulation and summation of results. 3. Uploading of scanned result sheets immediately after the announcement of election results. 4. Uploading of video recordings of the announcement of election results. |
Politics › Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by johannu(m): 9:44pm On Feb 16 |
Electronic transmission of NONSENSE (scanned copies of election results) In addition to uploading the scanned copies of election results, there should be a way to enter the raw data of election results. Having the raw data would allow for easy tabulation and summation of election results. Imagine a supermarket where they upload scanned copies of payment receipts without entering the actual figures into the system. That's utter RUBBISH. |

Pierocash: i am beginning to hate Fubara. I pray they remove him. he is not fit to be a governor.
How can a minister be threatning a sitting governor, bullying him, and even beating up his supporters in his own state where he governs.
This guy is truly a mistake. Even Yahaya Bello dealt with almighty Dangote in Kogi, it took Buhari to beg bello to mellow down. But in Rivers state, ordinary FCT minister is bullying this so called mistake of a governor and he cannot even cough. We thought it was because Wike had federal support that Fubara did not have was the main reason fubara was been oppressed by wike, but it is now clear that a dumbo is a dumbo even with a nuclear weapon. Tuah! i pour spit for him face If Wike were not in Tinubu's government, he would have become a nobody like El-Rufai. Wike is using the federal might to intimidate Fubara. Look at the heavy security around Wike, he wouldn't have any of that if not for the federal government he's working for. |

I understand that, among other things, the FCTA workers demand the following:
All the directors and permanent secretaries whose tenure of service has been extended beyond the statutory retirement date by the FCT Minister should be kicked out with immediate effect. And that the Minister should desist from extending the tenure of service for officers due for retirement, as it amounts to the politicization and bastardization of the civil service.
Review of the last promotion results
Regular releases of overheads
Timely remittance of pension and NHF deductions
Training and re-training of staff
Better working conditions and better staff welfare
The intimidation and victimization of FCTA staff should stop
The dictatorial banning of phones in the office should be reversed immediately |

Hiw can Nigeria be blessed with a good leader and Nigeria progress as a country? Its time they have their own country so they can choose Muslim fanatics and practice sharia. The south need to have sense stop the problem of election every 4 years. Otherwise we keep wasting the live and future of unborn people. In other words, you're saying we shouldn't remain conjoined.
