PoliticsRe: Judges Houses: Under What Law Are We Operating? - Falana by johannu(m): 6:26am On Jul 18
Tammy2705:
I am amazed, if it is only judges that deserve keys to apartment from federal government, what of those civil servant through the length and breadth of Nigeria, who put in 35years of service, what of the teachers, doctors, engineers architects, surveyors, military who risk their lives travelling through the length and breadth of the country on national assignment, in perilous times, sacrificing their lives and at times losing their lives due to insecurity and other vices that has plagued the country, and nothing for them, only Judges, who will dance to the music of the piper when there need arises, it's not only discrimatory.but confusing, in the words of a former first lady; " THERE IS GOD OOO"...
God bless you. But to the wiked, it shall not be well with them.
PoliticsRe: Judges Houses: Under What Law Are We Operating? - Falana by johannu(m):
Charity begins at home. Has Wike built houses for FCDA staff, or provided land for them to build? Why judges? What about building houses for lecturers, or hostels for students at the UNIABUJA? What about building hostels for Corps members at the NYSC Camp in Abuja? Or what about building houses for medical doctors working in government hospitals in Abuja? Wike building houses for judges! Judges, judge for yourselves!

5) mary parents don't want investigation

Umahi Umahi Umahi, You will answer all your sin one day.
They said she was bleeding from the nose, and she called her boyfriend that was remotely far away. Hmmm... imagine someone dying from nosebleed and the person would not alert people around, even her friend that was in the next room. Hmmm.
CrimeRe: Release her body, I don't want autopsy - Mary Habila's father petitions IGP (vid by johannu(m): 9:22pm On Jul 17
Suspected murder is a state case that requires autopsy to resolve. The father can only wait until the matter is dispensed with. The way the man is behaving is suspect.

Buhari met the country in a bad state and left it in a worse state.

Tinubu met the country in a worse state and took it below worst state.
Nigeria is following a trajectory. It's a tragedy that we keep focusing on the coordinate points, ignoring the equation that defines the trajectory. For your information, Nigeria will keep getting worse regardless of who is at the helm of affairs, until we go our different ways.

Keyamo should apologize to Obi.

Touts don't place 'no parking' signs so they will get many customers.

The babablu minister should stop running our airports like motor parks. If you don't want people to park at a particular location, place a 'no parking' sign.
Touts don't place 'no parking' signs so they will get many customers.

That's why Peter Obi told them, "It is me; you can't extort money from me."
PoliticsRe: Sarauta Maryam Accuses Festus Keyamo Of Double Standards Over Peter Obi by johannu(m):
Over zealot people like Festus Keyamo are not wise. I learnt a lesson or two from the duo of Akinwumi Adesina and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala when they served in the Goodluck Jonathan's administration. They were professional in the discharge of their duties. They never played dirty politics. When Buhari was contesting elections against Jonathan, Adesina and Okonjo-Iweala never did or said anything against Buhari. During the election campaigns, Adesina and Okonjo-Iweala only focused on their achievements. They never did or said anything to undermine Buhari. Later when Buhari became president and Adesina and Okonjo-Iweala needed Buhari's endorsement to become the President of AfDB and the Director-General of WTO respectively, Buhari graciously endorsed and backed them. Without the endorsement from their home country, Adesina and Okonjo-Iweala wouldn't have secured the international appointments. Nobody knows tomorrow. Keyamo may POssibly need President Obi tomorrow. The lesson is: Ti won ba ran eni ni ise eru, a fi ti omo je.

Onegai:
Someone is trying to carve out a viable country for them, even a bunch of countries. Europe was harder to conquer so they've given up on that, the ME is no longer welcoming and hospitable to them, but Africa is falling easier and has raw materials and cheap human lives that can be exploited and sold.

They're moving into Southern Nigeria because they're taking over arable farmland in the Middle Belt and need access to safe coastal waters (Libya heading to Europe isn't safe, Sudan is patrolled). That's why we're now hearing about kidnappings in the SW and SS.
These people are trying to create a Caliphate made of several West African countries.
If you know, you know.
CrimeRe: Boko Haram Uses ChatGPT And Other AI Tools - Cambridge Report by johannu(m):
From top to bottom, there are many different groups responsible for the large-scale insecurity in Nigeria. Each group is being used by those up the pyramid. The ragtag foot soldiers are at the bottom of the pyramid. There are those in top government positions. There are those strategically positioned in the security network. There are religio-political leaders. There are financiers, local and foreign. There are influencers like Gumick and Murick. There are sympathizers with religious ties. At the topmost level are those in the West, Asia and the middle East that have different agenda. One's agenda is mineral exploration. Another's agenda is to spread its religious tentacle through terrorism. The only solution is to break the multi-ethnic, multi religious contraption into manageable less multi-religious, less multi-ethnic entities. Once there are less divisions to exploit, terrorism becomes easier to defeat.
PoliticsRe: Strange Coincidence Regarding The Release Of The Oyo School Kids by johannu(m): 9:43am On Jul 11
CharlesCNG:
That is because you do not know how sick, sadistic, satanic this people are.

Children were abducted. Families suffered. Security operatives risked their lives. The first response should be relief, gratitude and sober reflection — not political gymnastics.

Because when your politics becomes too addicted to tragedy, even fake stories begin to sound familiar.

Only morally bankrupt politics turns disaster into campaign fuel and converts human pain into propaganda.
My anger is directed at the sick, sadistic, satanic people whose religious beliefs encourage terrorizing, kidnaping and killing innocent people. The politicians behind the terrorists are devilishly exploiting religion for political gains. Hell is where they'll end up.

Some Nigerians are terrible people , everything is not politics nau, lives are involved ke.
I think they didn't release them the way they were rescued, otherwise we would be weeping for them. They fear disintegration like ebola virus. The greatest fear of Northern Muslims is the division ➗ of Nigeria. It's like switching off the Oxygen mask on their ICU.
The stage is set already
1. State Police
2. Regional Government
3. Fiscal Federalism
4. Confederacy
5. Division......

In sha Allahu.....it shall happen like movie.
Afghanistanic Somalia of Northern Nigeria...
If the North doesn't want Nigeria to divide, then they should behave themselves to make the South comfortable staying with the North. Sadly, most of the woes bedeviling Nigeria (extremism, terrorism, mass abductions, cattle destroying farms, cattle grazing in the city center, etc.) are from the North.
PoliticsRe: Why Do Northern Leaders Oppose State Police? It's Not A Must For The North. by johannu(m): 3:39am On Jul 09
The North is always against anything that will move Nigeria forward. On state police, if some states are against state police, let them not have state police, but those that want state police should be allowed to have state police. Those that want to remain backward should not hinder those that want to move forward.

I believe there was an initial thing the prince got right in the wrong scheme. Afterwards, everything continued to fall in place until something happened and then luckily and unluckily (luckily for the scammed and unluckily for the scammers) the scheme fell like a house of cards. The investigation has to disassemble the building blocks, layer by layer, down to the foundational blocks that provided the foundation for the fraudulent scheme.
EducationRe: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by johannu(m): 6:57pm On Jul 04
Life is full of choices. If you don't like the regulations in a place, you go to another place where you can be tolerated. If, for example, you go to a Deeper Life Church and they say you must cover your head as a woman, if you don't like it, you can go to Living Faith Church where you don't have to cover your head. There are different sects in Islam, if you don't like the way they do things in one, you go to another one that suits you. You don't go a place to impose your way of life. When in Rome, you do like the Romans. If you can't, you can go to Afganistan.
PoliticsRe: State Police Is A Right Step But It will Not Be Enough by johannu(m): 8:46am On Jul 01
lawani:
State police is a right step but it will not be enough

It is only a full decentralization of security that will suffice. Local governments and the private sector should also be allowed to join the fray. This is mainly because some governors are compromised and may prove to be as bad if not worse than the federal government so far dealing with crimes and the protection of people are concerned. People who can afford to use other means to protect themselves should be allowed to do so

There is market in the country for security and at least fifty thousand police men and other men from other security institutions do guard duties for private individuals and companies. I believe it does not cost less than one hundred and fifty thousand naira per man per month. There is no reason a duly registered vigilante group should not be allowed to bear military grade weapons. Farming villages that pay fifty million naira frequently to bandits actually can protect themselves if their vigilante groups are allowed to be properly armed and even put under the police

To have peace, you need to also prepare for war. State police is good but things have gone too far south that it will almost certainly prove to be not enough especially in Northern Nigeria
You're very much correct. What is worth doing is worth doing well. Even the state police they're proposing is not what a state police should be. What a country!
