Hi everyone, I recently sold a property in Nigeria, and looking to use that as a sponsorship for my sibling. I’m currently in Canada, I have drafted a sponsorship letter, Nigerian bank statement, my birth certificate and international passport. Since I’m not using my bank statement in Canada or anything in here only the investment in Nigeria do I need to provide my Canadian drivers license and Work ID? Thanks |

Hi everyone, pls I need some advise. I worked as a business system analyst from sept 2016 to Nov 2018, I resigned due to pregnancy and moved to meet my husband in a different country. In Jan 2020 I moved back and got employed to the same company with the same job title from Jan 2020 to June 2021, then I moved to Canada to study in sept 2021. I want to request for a letter of reference from my employer. My question is 1. Do I request for 2 letters? Or just one letter and the manager needs to explain the dates. 2. When filling up my EE profile do I fill my work history twice? sept 2016 to Nov 2018 and Jan 2020 to June 2021? Thank you |
Opeyemi007:i will |
Opeyemi007:Same here my folks did their bio-metrics Tuesday 2nd and the tracker shows eligibility complete for both profiles Jan 8th...their US visa is expired tho. Fingers crossed for a positive update. |
Good afternoon everyone, I did a visiting visa application for my Parent on Dec 19th, 2023. Biometrics letter came the same day, they did their biometrics on the 2nd of January and it was updated Jan 3rd on the portal. I heard there's a trend that if the applicants have a US visa either valid or expired, the application get processed faster? I want to confirm this pls. thank you |
Hi Nairalanders, I applied to Cambrian College….it’s been 4 weeks I haven’t heard from them. Does the admission process take long? |
Johndooe009:abeg help your boy please. |
Please anyone studying in Cambrian College. I got admission for Business Analytics. It’s a 3 semester program. Reading on the nairaland group. 2 semester PGD equals 1year PGWG. How about 3 semester program. Thank you. |
Hi nairalanders, I need some advise on some questions. I graduated with a 2.1 in business management in UK. I plan to migrate to Canada. I was looking for universities to apply for my masters. Upon checking I notice some universities require some years of work experience, GRE, GMAT. Please are there universities that don’t require this? I also thought about take a PGD program. But I want to ask does a PGD program (2 semester course work and last semester Co-Op totalling to 1.5 years) equivalent to a 2-3 years PGWP. Thank you. |
