Yeah. I don't know about immensely, but I'll definitely do a lot of giving. I always try to do the best I can but I don't consider myself the most generous person. It's definitely something to work on.

The book of Genesis just shows God's favouritism right from Abel and Cain to Esau and Jacob.

Would they say God also checked the heart of the infant Esau and Jacob before proclaiming that Jacob would be the better one?

Any further explanation given is just trying to find an excuse why. I remember my elementary school CRS teacher telling us how Cain brought the worst crop he could find in a bid to justify the story. Why? Because even she could not find a suitable reason as to why God rejected his sacrifice.

Therefore we should cast away our own ideas and simply trust and follow God’s Word focusing on “What does the Word of God say?” Ignoring God’s Word and seeking self-righteousness is Cain’s faith and religious belief. Abel put his faith in the Word of God he heard from his father, Adam, and offered the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. But self-conceited Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. God accepted Abel’s offering but refused Cain’s offering. It is God’s lesson that faith in man-made religions cannot bring salvation.

The people of a country will determine how a country goes. Switzerland is working because of her kind of people , if u take all Nigerian leaders to Switzerland and make them lead the Swiss people, they will provide quality leadership because the Swiss people will not sit, fold hands and watch bad governance being perpetuated like in Nigeria.
