Romance › In Search Of The Right One. by Johnjanrt(op): 10:36am On Nov 01, 2019 |
Dear Nairalanders I often find it depressing at this point in time to announce of my single status. I know some may find it awkward may be funny, that someone who's graduated and done with serving still be finding difficulties getting and keeping to a relationship. Well it's no joking matter, the fact that am single and have been seriously searching for what I termed 'the right one'. It might interest you to know that I use to be a dating type until now when things are beginning to go out of hand, to crown it all as am typing this I find attractive almost all the girls I come across, owing the fact that am without a girlfriend. Again it wouldn't go without saying that I rarely come across the kind of girls I would want to date, but I find it difficult approaching them reasons being that the situations under which we use to meet being unfavourable to meeting them. And have now come to a point of dilemma: Without a girlfriend which no doubt am in dire need of and can't find. I will seriously appreciate it if suggestions can be made towards bringing an end to this situation cause its tiring and have left me being continually obsessed. I want a way out to 'finding the right one.' |

Politics › Re: Lalong Appoints Shehu Bala, Hausa-Fulani As Chairman, Plateau Indigenes Kick by Johnjanrt: 12:44pm On Oct 18, 2019 |
Neoteny: Who the hell talks about "settler-indigene" in the 21st century?
Igboes in Lagos claim they own Lagos, they want to have their Igwes in Lagos, be recognized as idigenes of Lagos, own businesses and properties in Lagos, and demand to hold elective offices in Lagos..
...but a Fulani or hausa man several generations deep as indigenes of plateau are not indigenes, but settlers, simply because their ancestors settled in Jos ages ago.
This is why places like Plateau, Taraba, Benue and most of the North Central will forever be backwards, primordial, barbaric, and caught in the ancient past, because they've stubbornly stuck on a clannish and outdated caveman way of life. Help me ask them o. It's always baffling seeing that those who refer to themselves as Christians happens to be those making such demeaning, divisive, derogatory comments, to achieving only. God-knows what. in spite of Christ's teachings focussing on the love of ones neighbour above self. |

Nowenuse: Which stupid peace? So peace only comes when Hausa fulani settlers are pleased abi?
Same Hausas that will tell you that Kano is 10 times bigger and better than Jos, why can't they go back to their Kano with their nonsense? So what do you hope to achieve by this, of all the times church goers have been at the helm of the council's affairs in what way have you benefitted? Just clamouring for attention. |

Sweetcollins: Wonderful team OBJ had what it takes to fix Nigeria and make it enviable but he was beclouded by his selfish interest and blindfolded believe that he will be lifetime godfather. The so called Buhari was deceitfully enforced on Nigeria by you under the gloomy hope of change just because you don't want Goodluck to out reign you in office. However, the evil that men do lives with them, you never knew that "na so the matter go play las las" Advice to all! Always endeavor to critically and unbiasedly look beyond the situation at hand before giving your judgement in every opportunity you find yourself. Cos nothing lasts forever Well man |

Teewhy2: The no 3 cause of blindness in Nigeria is cataract, while No 1 & 2 is Tribalism and religion and that we haven't grown beyond this stage. Your plethora of wisdom is evidenced in these few lines. Sensing immaturity everywhere, the only thing Nigerians are good at is blame-game, always looking for whom to blame. Now the so-call Southerners or may be Christians are busy blaming the government for their inabilities and misfortunes. Forgetting the fact that at one point in time they had opportunities, but failed to capitalize on them. |
