In 1999 South West voted Falae while South East/South South voted Obasanjo.

In 2015 the same happened.
What you lots don't know is that Igbo is major ethnic group in the old Eastern region which is now sliced to South East and South South. Igbo extends to South South especially Delta and Rivers State.


Another bare truth is that South West has never determined any election in Nigeria because they are incosiquential. They don't even give block votes like the South East. Anambra block votes alone balances out South West advantage with even change sef.
