dopedan:Don't you think you belong to the waste bin? I return it back to you |
I noticed recently that my 03 accord window glasses winds up or down sometimes when outside temperature is high e.g on a very sunny day. It doesn't happen in the morning until when the weather is very hot. What could be responsible |
Thank you everyone. Let me try and take it for a check |
Mrkumareze:2004 Honda accord EOD |
Help! I noticed a sound like there was a friction when driving especially when I released my leg from the throttle (accelerator), I didn't know it was the compressor that was the culprit until one day after using AC for a long time it escalated and became a terrible noise. When I opened the car hood, I saw smoke coming out from the compressor and the fan belt could hardly turn as it should. I went for repairs, the compressor, hoses and dryer were all changed and the system flushed out. Everything became good but just for a day. After just a day, the same thing happened again. What could be the cause? I am frustrated by this development especially when I just spent over 50k to do it. Pls help |
Elsueno:I guess so too o. Let us wait and hear what they have to say |
My car door lights gone off, doesn't beep when driver's door is open and fans fails to come on time leaving AC condenser too hot. Power not reaching compressor as well. Could it be ECU? |
Lately my car (2003 Honda Accord) started developing faults like; door lights not showing on the dashboard, that beeping sound when the driver's door is open ceased, the fans don't come on quickly and AC went off which all efforts to trace the cause failed but later I don't know what my rewire did then it started working perfectly but seems to stress the engine. I believe he also did a connection that makes the fans to come on quicker tha they used to. Now I will have to top my radiator after 3 days or more and no overheating. The car is almost 2 years old in my hand and I never had to top the radiator before now then he asked me to change the brain box but I learnt that brain box isn't what you just buy and replace like other parts of the car. Please what should I do? I need experts opinions from the house. Thank you all in anticipation |
Please how much is brain box for 2003 Honda accord EOD? I urgently need to know b4 coming down there. |
Areaboy2:B4 the baby boy vs Camry nko? There was a time when all you see was HONDA HALLA vs Mercedes V boot irrespective of location and also HONDA PRELUDE for young big guys all over the Country so where were the Toyotas then. Do your research again |
pablobellins:Which part of Ogun and Lagos wey Honda no dey? Can't believe you |
Price |
NaijadrivaCars:Just Google it and you will be amazed by how much it's been flooded all over the internet. Toyota is good but everywhere you go, it's been rated 2nd after Honda except in western Nigeria ![]() |
Godisgreatest1:No sir. It's a fact |
I was beginning to get confused by what you hear from both so-called car gurus and those who just hear and say, about 'this car is bad, run away from that' etc. I always tell people around me to carry out their own research before consulting other people since the internet is vast with results and facts. No doubt that we have people who read wide and as well friends to Google and others . To satisfy my curiosity, I had to type the above topic (who Manufactures the best car engines) since we consider reliability, gas mileage etc and my finding from numerous sites was Honda then Toyota followed by others but several other companies and forums rated Honda as best car engine manufacturer, giving credit to their I-VTEC technology which only them have up till date. When I personally looked at it from Nigerian perspective, I found out that Honda cars of years 1989, 1992 and the likes are still everywhere running without noise and smoke. It was a fact proven by Car Expert that 1 out of 344 had engine issues and 1 out of 177 of Toyota had engine issues. Here are proofs. Check out; https://www.thecarexpert.co.uk/most-reliable-engines/ Or YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YPktRWCMnM Countless places you go to |
This is a common sight in Benin Republic. Carrying charms on the body seems normal there. I was amazed the first time I travelled to cotonou |
I have one if you live in Lagos WhatsApp or call 07063863212 More like a brand new but will be more cheaper |
Sellfish:This is not how to congratulate someone who just bought your dream car. Encourage him and help him with ideas that helps him manage this car. The fact that someone begged for a 200k buyer doesn't mean all cars of that brand and model are bad. Come on brother. I wish OP all the best. Enjoy your ride |
Jezking:Is it possible to an EOD seat to a different brand or model seat? |
ivoryhouse:Wow.! That's surprising to me. I drove a civic for 6 years like I mentioned earlier and even traveled to as far as Benue , Enugu and never even get tired so I believe you but is there no remedy to this? I actually noticed that the seats are harder and more firm but what surprises me is that other of my friends that have this same car never complained. Thank you anyways |
rationalmind:Alright thank you |
[quote author=NaijadrivaCars post=89772639]adjust the drivers seat for your maximum comfort. Ok. Will try that. Thank you sir |
Jezking:Ok. Thank you a lot |
BigTableShaker:Honda accord 2003 |
Please I need your advice on what to do to avoid this pain am getting everytime I drive. It will be so severe that I could hardly walk straight. I drove a Honda civic for six years before being disposed of but never felt this pain once all through the 6 years. It all started after I bought another car and noticed the pain gradually started and up till now, I only get relieved when I stop driving for days and I was told it is the car seat causing me the pain. Please has anyone experienced this? |
RZArecta:Am in ota, I have contacted someone to help scan on Monday. Thank you very much |
thebigkendo:All checked sir. Still no working |
Muyiwaipere:I tried another electrician but same trial and error that one was like AC line fit don get problem for inside brain box, that we should go to Ladipo and test another brain box on it first which am not agreeing to do |
AutoMoTech:It chills while working |
My AC suddenly stopped working. (Compressor doesn't pick). When connected directly, it will start working so the AC technician told me it's an electrical fault. I took it to a Rewire guy who suggested I buy a new fuse box which I did and same problem persists. Please if you know what the likely cause may be, kindly help. It is a 2003 Honda Accord. Thank you |
valarinz:My brother, if you replace with original ball joints, you can use then for 6 to 8 years and that's because of the bad Roads here and there so why bother myself |
I have just been observing by reading some people saying what they know little or nothing about concerning brands of cars and what problems they are known for, that's not cool as far as I am concerned. OP. You like a Honda car? Go for it and enjoy your ride. I personally have been driving Honda cars since 2013 till today and have no reason whatsoever to change except when am buoyant enough to get an additional car then think of a Lexus (luxury arm of Toyota), Ford or Audi but to think of a straight Toyota against a Honda of the same year is unimaginable for now. Pls go to Kelley blue or edmunds.com and compare the two brands instead seeking confusion from people who hear from other people. Refer also to one or two people's post above including 'The Lion King' and you will be convinced that you are making the right choice. Honda Accord of 2010 by far has a better handling than that Toyota that man is advertising to you, no arguments. As per the leg issue they talk about, just like I said I drove a civic for six years and now using 04 Accord but never witnessed that. Maybe they think other cars don't pull legs. After all it's peculiar to Nigerian because of our bad Maintenance culture fake spare parts and bad roads but 2010 model and the likes are exempted if it ever existed. I bought my Accord from US a year ago with 150k mileage and the mechanic just confirmed yesterday that the ball joints have never been changed before because I started hearing sound and asked him to check the legs for me. Do your personal research one above sites I mentioned and make your decision but am sure some people here have been reasonable enough with their posts to have helped you. |
