Romance / Re: Trouble From My Boss Wife And Daughter by johnnygan(m): 4:20pm On Dec 23, 2010
@mordi
Its true from what you have said. Nothing good would come out from telling his boss.
If he tells his fiancee there might still me a chance for him to redeem himself although the evidence is lost at the moment.
His ex-boss has resumed calling his telephone lines. Just yesterday, she called him again, but it has taken a new turn. She is jealous seeing him with her step daughter and she has threatened him to dissist from his current relationship.
Now he's really down and madly confused.
I really don't know how to advise him on that. Yet I'm his best friend. I've told him to maintain silence in the meantime. Hopefully he might have to report to the police for some security. I hope he's not done that yet

@holydante uuuuuuh!
That's scary. But I'm not impressed
Romance / Re: Trouble From My Boss Wife And Daughter by johnnygan(m): 12:20am On Dec 22, 2010
@teetee I see your point.
Obviously the first character was not the problem. I guess the confusion was coming from the second character which is the ex boss.
The defensive line to that remains and cannot be changed cuz at first, she was not known to be married or has a step daughter. She was known to be single. Now this is the part that makes nairaland go crazy cuz they did not really read the post with a serious mind. They are judging from what they thought can never happen from their illusioned minds. I won't blame them rather. Neither would I blame nollywood. Not too much of them knows any better. Just pray this doesn't happen to you. Just pray cuz this life is beautiful, yet funny

@all to you that felt it was made up, kudus to you.
If you read from the start, all I did was to quote cuz it happened to a distant relation of mine.
Its a sorry state he got himself into and needs serious advise. Then again, you all are entitled to your opinions! Its freedom of speech and I've not forgotten that part.

This person in question needs your advice.
**and I quote, **

My name is Tope. I am a Christian and a Roman catholic.
I'm a computer specialist/web programmer by profession with bout 8yrs of experience in this profession.
In the year 2000 I lost my job with #name of company witheld# on account of abstaining from my boss. My boss back then was a full grown woman and she was still single at that point in time.
She tried to force me into a relationship with her but I was not interested. She told me how she felt bout me but I wasn't listening. She laid everything out in black and blue but I went blind.
Knowing that she was losing, she begun several threats on my life.
I thought it was not that serious at first so I kept on with the snubs. I became fully alerted when I narrowly escaped death while on official assignment.
I was supposed to travel with the company car but I didn't. Instead I used a chartered travel cab. My other work mates used my company car that was supposed to accompany me on to my destination.
Some psycopaths were sent to eliminate me so they traced the company car and killed everyone in it including my private driver.
When I discovered this, I left kano without a note.
Now at Lagos year 2009 I have a new job with the help of my current gf who took me in when I left kano in 2002.
She had helped me much too much in acquiring my current job and I was thankful.
Early this year, she wanted me to travel to kogi state with her to see her step mother. I objected at first but complied later when her persistence became too strong to ignore.
To cut long stories short, her so-called step-mother turned out to be my ex-boss while I was in kano! The same woman that wanted me at all cost! The woman that planned to assassinate me.
I was fortunate to be alive cuz a day before the planned attack on me, I got a text from a strange number confirming me dead the following day. I tried to call that number but it remained engaged so I called it quits trying the number.
My ex-boss was surprised to see me although it was not visible enough to notice.
I had previously explained to my girlfriend bout my past but I really don't know how to tell her that her step-mom was the person that tried to eliminate me when I was in kano. I don't know how that gonna sound to her. I love my current job as her father is my new boss. He doesn't know a relationship exists yet btw me and his daughter but we were bent on telling him as soon as we returned from travelling.
I know that if I say anything, things might go sour and I may lose everything I've worked for.
I can't stand losing my job and my girl.
Now to make matters worse, my ex-boss has found my new mobile number and has been giving me some really disgusting calls. She told me she never knew I was still alive and if she can't get me alive, she will get me dead. Now that's the part that makes me tingle again.
What do I do? Do I keep running? Do I leave everything I've worked for behind? Do I leave my girl whom I love so much or do I tell her the truth?
I need some advice please!

***if it were you, what would you have done under these harsh circumstances***

Romance / Re: Why Do Women With Lots Of Qualification Finds It Hard To Get A Man? by johnnygan(m): 10:27pm On Dec 16, 2010
For these following reasons, women with extremely high qualifications may find it difficult to get a good husband:

1. Their qualifications speaks before they do.

2. No man wants to be overridden in terms of integrity.

3. Even when the woman tries to bring herself low, her qualifications would always lift her up.

4. Men would consider such women as over ambitious. They would suspect her of been capable of anything whatsoever.

5. She won't have any reason to look up to her man except she gives up some certain qualifications. Most women won't like this cuz its what they have worked for and they don't throw things away easily.

6. They are usually selective due to the level of power they've got in education.

7. No man like been schooled by a woman.
8. Independent women constitute much nuisance esp when they can not be tammed.

9. They've devoted so much time to their studies and it has become a part of them. Don't be surprised to find them with books of various kinds at any given point. They can read anywhere they find themselves. They can read novels at eateries, toilets, cinemas, churches, social functions, kitchen, etc.

10. They are generally boring. They don't have much fun cuz studing had always been a major priority. As they say, all work and no play makes jack a dullard.!.

Romance / Re: Have U Been So Emotional Dat U Shed Tears ? by johnnygan(m): 9:14pm On Dec 14, 2010
Even those that had considered hatred to be an hobby still got possible traits of love. Jesus came as an human to show that love exists in all of us although its not perfect, we can work it to perfection. That also explains why he came as a perfect human. To be the light and show us the way. Even if your conscience is dead at loving, you would realise it later. This makes your point baseless
