Politics / Would Ndigbo Prefer Nigeria Or Biafra? by Johnpele: 10:15am On Oct 30, 2015
It is understandable that the Biafra fraud has found a new fillip in President Muhammadu Buhari’s ‘provocative discrimination’ against the Southeast zone of Nigeria, but it still is not sufficient reason for Ndigbo to resort to mob action – the coward’s alternative.

If a referendum were done today for Ndigbo to choose between Nigeria and Biafra, Igbo will vote Nigeria. In fact, by my reckoning, Ndigbo had moved on long ago from Biafra, reintegrating themselves fully into the Nigerian family. Ndigbo actually have the most stakes in Nigeria today and are also the most exposed economically. The Igbo have invested right from the head bridge of the Niger River up the country to Ilela (Sokoto) and Gamgoro, the northernmost tip of Borno.

Why would anyone so exposed seek separation? Time has come to call the so-called Biafra agitation championed by MASSOB (Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra) what it is – a fraud. Its founders, who were not gainfully engaged about 20 years ago, are now stupendously rich. Where is all the money coming from? How many misguided youths have been wasted so far? To what end? We urge MASSOB champions to morph into an Igbo socio-cultural organisation as Gani Adams has done with OPC. MASSOB is not Igbo consensus. Enough is enough!

Education / JAMB Modifies Admission Procedure For 2015/16 Session by Johnpele: 10:29am On Oct 27, 2015
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has modified its procedure for candidates seeking admission to the nation’s tertiary institutions in the 2016-2017 academic session.

The board has therefore introduced the “preferred choice” platform in its portal to enable candidates to have wider opportunities of securing admission.

The sale of admission form for the session commenced on September 30 and it will end on January 30, 2016.

The Chief Information Officer of the board, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, made this known in an exclusive interview with our correspondent on Monday.

The modification, he added, would lessen competition among candidates seeking placement to the nation’s “oversubscribed” universities.

Benjamin said, “What we did initially was that you only have one choice. Now, we have made it in such a way that if you miss the University of Lagos; University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaira, you will have an opportunity of going to another school.

“Before, all universities will be in first and second choice and that will not solve any problem. We have now decided to put a few of those schools we feel will have more spaces as more preferred.

“Institutions placed on the more preferred choice are those that are mostly not oversubscribed. This is because it will not make any sense if you place institutions like the ABU, UNILAG, OAU and UNN, when in actual sense they cannot even admit one third of the candidates that will choose them as most preferred.”

The board, in the 2015/16 session, had arbitrarily redistributed admission seekers to universities other than their first choice institutions, a development many parents and candidates kicked against.

JAMB had claimed that the redistributing policy was to accommodate more candidates, reduce wastage of admission opportunities as well as the stress parents and candidates go through in seeking placement in schools.

No fewer than 1.5million candidates sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for about 500,000 admission spaces annually.

Fashion / Asian Fashion Trends by Johnpele: 11:45am On Oct 21, 2015
Asian fashion is steadily gaining ground in the world of international fashion. Most of the trends have the ability to transcend markets. And the demand for it is growing exponentially. The international fashion world is finally taking notice of what Asia can offer globally in terms of fashion.

So, if you don’t want to get left behind from the latest global trends, here are some latest Asian fashion trends that are conquering the fashion world.

1. Loose fit

This trend has something to do with the fact that most Asian women are slighter in nature compared to their western counterparts. So, the clothes they wear usually hang over their bodies like sacks. And these loose-fitting clothes create an illusion of volume that is very fashionable and trendy. Slouchy tops are great examples of this.

2. Peter Pan Syndrome

Asian fashion leans towards the cute. Cuteness rather than sophistication is what it’s aiming for. Because cuteness is associated with youth, and most Asians are obsessed with being young. So the clothes usually come with puffy skirts and draping ruffles and in bold and exciting colors and floral prints.

3. Bold, eccentric accents

These unconventional accents are inspired from the different and rich cultures that shape most Asian countries. The print, forms and designs are very unique and very Asian.

4. Vibrant pastels

The fabrics used come in bold and exciting colors. This preference is influenced by the rich and colorful traditions that most Asian countries have.

5. Exotic aesthetics

To achieve this look, the clothes are stylish embellished with gemstones and printed with out-of-this-world prints and designs. These design patterns are usually inspired from the different tribes that still live in many Asian countries.

6. Glitter drape

The traditional little black dress is given a modern twist by draping it with glitter. This design will make you look classy and modern at the same time.

7. Nightgown tops

The traditional nightgowns worn by old Asian folks are given a stylish and modern resurrection. By tapering it and using expensive fabrics like lace, this old-fashion nightgown is taken out from the bedroom to the high streets and has become a favorite top worn by most Asian fashionistas.

8. Sporty cute

This is another trend that is influenced by the propensity of most Asians to cuteness. The traditional masculine-looking sportswear is given a touch of cuteness and has become a RTW staple. You don’t have to play a sport to wear this, because it doesn’t function as one. It’s designed to look like sportswear but it’s suited for the streets.

9. Office chic

Office uniform is no longer exclusive to the confines of the office. By giving it a modern and stylish twist, the usually boring office attire is worn now in the streets and clubs.

10. Beige is the new black

How the boring and unattractive color beige become stylish, only the Asian fashion designers can explain. Now beige is considered modern and stylish, and it functions like the color black.

Crime / The Bad Things My Father-in-law Did To Me ... Must Read by Johnpele: 11:37am On Oct 21, 2015
Once your wife or your husband's parent start dictating what happens in your home, marriage is over!

A 40-year old Information Technologist, Mr Samuel Bankole on Tuesday told an Igando Customary court in Lagos that his father-in-law was responsible for his leaving his matrimonial home.

Bankole, who was responding to a divorce suit filed by his wife, Iyabo, said his father in-law forced him out because he was unable to pay the house rent.

“My wife always pay the rent because I am not buoyant enough but the last rent was paid by my father-in-law who had been threatening me to vacate the house or commit suicide.

“On that fateful day, he came with a thug, beat me and threw my belongings out.

“He also arrested me; I passed a night in the cell before my father came to bail me,” he said.

The respondent said that his wife with whom he had three children was having extra marital affair.

“My wife cheats on me, I read her chat on her phone and I discovered she was having an affair with a man. I confronted her and showed her their conversation but she could not give me a satisfactory answer,” he said.

Bankole also claimed that his wife always curse him, saying he always heard her at mid-night, swearing that it would not be well with him.

He begged the court not to grant his wife’s wish as he was still in love with her.

The petitioner, Mrs Iyabo Bankole, 32, a trader had sought for the dissolution of her five-year-old marriage over lack of care and threat to her life.

She said that her husband was an irresponsible husband and father.

“My husband is working but he always tell me he does not have money, I have been the one paying the house rent since the inception of our marriage and also pay the children’s school fees.

“When the rent of the two-bedroom flat I first rented was about to due, my husband disappeared
from the house with all his belongings to an unknown destination and I was pregnant then.

“I don’t have money so I have to sell my late mother’s property to pay for my antenatal and to feed myself.

“I was in the hospital for six days because I could not pay, I was release after my father came to pay the bill and I stayed with my father for nine months before he rented another flat for me. After my father rented the flat, my husband came back to the house,” she said.

She continued, “There was a day his girl friends came to my house around 11:00 pm to beat me up.

“After I recovered from the beating, I came out to take air when I saw those girls with my husband outside the gate chatting and drinking.

"My husband also beats me whenever he sees me talking with male customers or whenever he reads my chat with a male friend on phone; all the scars on my body was as result of his constant beating.

She said the court should dissolve the marriage as her life was at risk, she want to be there for her kids.

The court president, Mr Adegboyega Omilola adjourned the case till November 4 for judgement.

Romance / Married? 7 Secrets About S*x You Won’t Hear About In Church by Johnpele: 9:06am On Oct 19, 2015
In any sermon on marriage, you will hear the token things when it comes to s*x. s*x is important for an healthy marriage; some ministers will even teach that Christian couples should be having better s*x than those in the World. But, there are some s*xual secrets you will rarely get from the pulpit. Here are my top 7:

1. s*x was made for pleasure just as much as it was made for procreation.

God created our bodies with great intelligence which means every function and capability comes with a purpose.

The indicator that God created s*x for more than just procreation is the fact that both men and women’s bodies have the ability to climax into an climax. The climax experience is very healthy for both men and women.

The fact that it is much more challenging for a woman to attain an climax than a man shows God’s intelligent design. When men pay closer attention to their wives’ emotional needs, it results in a stronger connection and ultimately a better orgasmic experience.

2. Couples that schedule s*x have the most s*x.

Anything in life that matters whether it be work meetings, your kid’s sports games, or your doctor’s appointments all would be missed if its not written down on a schedule.

When you schedule something you are giving it value and respect. Yet many couples refuse to schedule s*x.

Many will say that scheduling s*x reduces the spontaneity.

However, when you schedule s*x, schedule the minimum. This then leaves room for spontaneous nights…or mornings…or…

By scheduling s*x in your relationship, you are setting an expectation for when you will engage one another intimately and this is a healthy lifeline for your marriage.

3. Great s*x requires great pre-intimacy.

There is no great s*x without amazing pre-intimacy.

pre-intimacy, such as the following, can actually begin before you get into the bedroom:

Text messages
Simple touches throughout the day
Helping each other out with various tasks

All of these are examples of pre-intimacy which increase longing and physical desire.

4. You should try to engage in at least 3 different positions.

Keep your s*x life spicy by trying out different positions. Our dear friends gave us this amazing tip from their s*x life: they engage in a minimum of 3 positions each time they are intimate and then afterwards have pillow talk about their time together. Wow!

5. The Only Limits Should be the Limits You Set

The question is always asked, “What is okay, and what is not okay in the bedroom?” The answer to that question is between you and your spouse. There isn’t a one size fits all for what you can and can’t do in your s*x life. As long as you and your spouse both agree upon it and it brings you closer together then have fun!

Let me caution you, however, that as believers we must stay away from biblically offensive acts such as p****graphy or extra persons.

Oral s*x, various positions, and whatever else you may question to try in your s*x life should be discussed with your spouse to determine if its something you want to incorporate. Just remember that s*x is about serving one another at the highest level, so enjoy one another no matter how you do it.

6. Be Creative to Eliminate s*x From Getting Mundane

Have fun with your s*x life.

You’re going to have to get creative in order to keep or bring the spice. Rolling over and having s*x is going to get boring after awhile.

Being creative can be a shared and rotated responsibility.

One night the wife might be in charge and the next her husband can flex his creative muscles.

7. Discuss Your s*xual Needs With Your Spouse

Communication is the key element for a great s*x life. It is said that a great s*x life is like wine; it gets better the older it gets.

You must be committed to making your s*x life one of the best parts of your marriage. It will not happen automatically. Discuss your needs, what requires improvement, or how you can better serve each other.

These are all keys to remain focused on each other and no one else. In the end you will happier, healthier, and having more s*x! But you won’t hear that in church!

Crime / FESTAC Robbery: Police Anti-bomb Squad Sweeps Banks For Fingerprints by Johnpele: 9:33am On Oct 15, 2015
As part of measures to close in on the 50-man heavily armed gang, who Tuesday stormed FESTAC Town and robbed Diamond and Access Banks, THISDAY on Wednesday gathered that the police had swiped the affected banks for fingerprints.

To swipe the banks of fingerprints were the officials of the Lagos State Anti-bomb squad, who alongside other police personnel, concentrated on areas where the robbers went to.

Police sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, however expressed worry that the fingerprints they swiped might not lead them to the real culprits.

He said: “It’s true we swiped for finger prints because the police is now driven by forensic technology, but our worry is that there were so many people in the banks when the robbery took place.

“The question is, what is the probability of isolating the fingerprints of the robbers? Another issue is that we don’t have a national data base of all Nigerians and their fingerprints.

“So, even if we eliminate the fingerprints and narrow it down, what database do we compare the collated fingerprints with? That is our cause of worry.”

THISDAY also gathered that a panel of inquiry would be instituted against the mobile policemen deployed to guard these banks.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Jospeh Offor, declined to confirm if the police had finally swiped for fingerprints.

He said: “Even if they did, do you expect me to tell you they did? Don’t you know that divulging that will be prejudicial to investigation?”

Meanwhile, Mr. Peter Ndirika, the husband of the nurse and baby, Mrs. Jane and baby, Mmesoma, respectively, who were killed by stray bullets in their residence, yesterday said he was still in shock.

THISDAY gathered that the 14-month-old baby was buried on Tuesday night at a mechanic village around Alakija, while the mother had been deposited at the Isolo General Hospital.

Recounting what transpired he said: “When I got back home in the evening, I saw blood every where and I met people in the house and a girl cleaning blood.

“When I got there, I saw my wife laying lifelessly and then I asked about my daughter? They told me that they have taken her to navy hospital at Satellite Town then I had to take my wife away from where she was and was taken to the Chosen hospital before she was later transferred to Alimosho General Hospital.”
“It was there that she was confirmed dead. I was still in the shocke.”
Buhari to Begin Cross River Super Highway on Tuesday

President Muhammadu Buhari will next Tuesday perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a 260-kilometre super highway being undertaken by the Cross River State Government.
The ceremony was initially billed for September 21.

The super highway is to serve as the evacuation route for the Bakassi Deep Seaport, a signature project of the Governor Ben Ayade-led administration in the state.

Meanwhile, there is excitement in the state, especially in the communities where the groundbreaking ceremony would be performed by the president.

In Obung Village in Akamkpa Local Government Area, the village head, Ntufam Boniface Edet and the youth president, Mr. Philip Ogar, expressed their community’s delight that the president would be visiting.

Ogar said the super highway passing through his community would bring a lot of benefits to his people and other neighbouring communities.

He said the youths of his community and their neighbours were excited about the superhighway, and that they were happy with what the governor is doing.

He believes the multi-billion naira project will aggressively open up their area to development as many businesses will spring up, creating employment opportunities for the people, adding that every member of his community including the chiefs, elders, women and the youths are overwhelmingly hopeful and happy about the project.

The youth president commended the governor for his vision and drive, assuring that his community will support the governor and provide whatever assistance that would be required to ensure that the project is achieved.

Also speaking, an environmentalist attached to the project, Mr. Francis Njeni, disclosed that his responsibility is to take stock of all the different species of trees that would be cleared to give way for the road and would ensure the replanting of such species in accordance with the policy of the state government under Senator Ayade.

Njeni explained that for every tree that would be cleared two or three of such tree would be replanted.

Politics / The Actualization Of Biafra Will End Boko Haram -uwazuruike by Johnpele: 9:09am On Oct 15, 2015
NATIONAL Leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, said that the war against Boko Haram would never end unless Biafra becomes an independent nation.
Uwazuruike, who spoke through his Deputy National Information Officer, Mazi Chris Mocha in Nnewi, Anambra State maintained that insurgency would continue to spread if Igbo are not allowed to go to their ‘promised land’.

He said the Biafran agitators had nothing in common with Boko Haram or any violent group but maintained that it would be logical and reasonable enough to allow any group in Nigeria like MASSOB that clamoured for self-determination to actualize its dream.

Uwazuruike insisted that since the Igbo had insisted to be on their own, the Federal Government has no other option than to allow them go, adding: “We are not fighting for our independence through violence or in violation of the law.”

Speaking in Lagos, Uwazulike urged Ndigbo to come together with the goal of speaking with one voice in the common interest of the Igbo race.

Uwazulike made call during this year’s annual New Yam Festival organised by Eze Ndigbo of Lagos, Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, Igbo communities and Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the state.

At the event, attended by Executive Secretary, Isolo LCDA, Hon. Segun Jubrin,, Senator Oluremi Tinubu who was represented by Executive Secretary Lagos Island LGA, Mrs Omolara, the Iya Loja general, Mrs Folashade Tinubu Ojo who was represented by 20 Iyalojas in the state and Eze Ndigbos in all the LCDAs, Uwazulike declared that right from the pre-independence till date, Ndigbo had contributed immensely towards the development of modern Nigeria through trade and commerce. He said this venture has made them the second most populated tribe after their host community.

Meanwhile, MASSOB has said the actualisation of a sovereign state of Biafra will take the Federal Government by surprise despite efforts to hinder it.

Director General, Organisation of Biafra Film and Music Industry (OBMFA), an arm of MASSOB, David Eboson, stated this in a release he signed, after the tour of some West African countries for an enlightenment programme for the group’s latest music album entitled: ‘Ihe nwute mere umu-Biafra’.

Eboson advised Ndigbo in the diaspora to go for the Biafran international passport as their identity as Igbo.

Crime / Boko Haram : Surrender Or Else - Colonel Sani Usman by Johnpele: 10:18pm On Oct 06, 2015
The Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, in a statement on Tuesday, October 6, made a final warning to Boko Haram terrorists, urging them to
surender and face the law.

Earlier, Sani Usman revealed that Nigerian soldiers arrested three alleged Boko Haram allies with the help of recently arrested Boko Haram financier and stimulant supplier, Mohammed Maina.

The Nigerian military representative said:

“This is to warn all Boko Haram terrorists wherever they are, to desist from all acts of terrorism, surrender themselves and face the law now. We wish to inform them that we are aware of all their hideouts, camps and enclaves.

“They should follow their colleagues who have so far surrendered. Failure to surrender will result in serious consequences as our troops are fast closing up with them.”

He also asked the parents, families and friends who are involved in Boko Haram terrorists activities to “persuade them to desist and renounce their membership of the terrorist organization forthwith.”

“We also wish to appeal to the good people of the North Eastern part of the country, in particular those of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States to prevail on these terrorists to renounce their evil ways immediately,” he added.

Residents of Kubwa, a satellite town in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, were shocked and scared following the news that a 27-year-old man was found dead in his room in the Pipeline area.

Neighbours of the deceased revealed that the man, who was identified only as Bello, spent the night with two women. They alleged that the women were prostitutes, and Bello invited them to his room on Sunday night “to have fun”.

The next morning, after the man was not seen outside, the neighbours raised the alarm and forced the door open.

According to reliable sources, Bello had been warned by his friends to desist from such acts, but all advice fell on deaf ears.

Commenting on the tragic incident, Badejo Yekini, the deceased’s landlord, said:

“I think he deserved what he got.
He was a chronic womanizer who
always derived pleasure in spending
a whole night with prostitutes, not
caring to know who they really were.
“To avoid such occurrences, men of
this generation must learn how to
control their libido.”

Meanwhile, a very close friend of the deceased, who pleaded for anonymity, said that he was “saddened” by the development.

However, he confessed that the incident did not take him by surprise, adding: “I always warned him, but he would not listen”.

The remains of the deceased were taken to the mortuary at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, by his relatives.

Politics / What Happened To DR, Ezekiel Izuogus's Z-600 Nigeria ? by Johnpele: 6:03pm On Oct 05, 2015
I was studying today when I came across this mind blowing but stillborn invention. I was never taught about it in school until I came across an article on it today. It beats my imagination how a country like ours allowed this wonderful technological and intellectual property go down the drain without any care in the world. no one is talking about it and to make things worse, the press has been silent as ice about the whole story.
my God! are we serious in this country? how can our government be this myopic?

I strongly believe we would have been better off by now in the automobile industry if the project was strongly supported by the then government. but of course it wasn't for no reason but for cheap political blackmail. what has that gotten us?

NOTHING!! we are still rotating in circles.

This is indeed a national/ continental tragedy and our government should burry their head in shame since all they know is to sit, play dirty politics, and feed fat on the national treasury.

However to me all hope is not lost cos I believe am not the only one that have seen this. many well meaning Nigerians who has seen it and other brilliant inventions that has been pushed aside must remember that whenever they have the opportunity to be in the corridors of power in this country, they have a mandate to change this ugly trend.

Friends are the most important aspect in social networking as they are needed to make money! 7. Always try to Give Away Free Stuff
Everyone loves free stuff and your social networking friends will really love you for it! Give them a free ebook, or maybe an article you found online. It doesn’t have to be big. Anything that is helpful and related to your niche will be greatly appreciated by your friends.

Crime / My Dad Was Burnt Alive - Daughter Narates by Johnpele: 10:00am On Sep 29, 2015
SOURCE: http://www.amebofamily.com/2015/09/my-dad-was-burnt-alive-daughter-narates.html

Paul Walker was still alive when the Porsche he was a passenger in caught fire after the horrific crash that took his life, according to a lawsuit filed by his daughter Meadow.

The 16-year-old, whose father died in 2013, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche claiming that the 2005 Carrera GT Walker was riding in had specific design flaws that contributed to his untimely demise.

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ ,Meadows lawyers claim when the Porsche Carrera GT crashed and broke apart, Paul's seat belt "snapped Walker's torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis," and trapping him in the passenger seat.

The suit claims the fire didn't erupt for 1 minute and 20 seconds after impact, but Paul was helplessly trapped. When the fire broke out, Paul was still alive. The suit alleges, "Paul Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned."

Law enforcement said the cause of the crash was speeding 80 to 93 MPH - at the hands of driver Roger Rodas. But the lawsuit says Rodas was only going between 63 and 71 MPH when it careened out of control. And the suit alleges the car would never have careened if it had a proper stabilization system.
Meadow's lawyers claim Porsche knew the Carrera GT had "a history of instability and control issues."
Meadow's lawyers say the defect could have been corrected with a Porsche Stability Management System (PSM), which prevents swerving. They say the company intentionally decided not to install PSMs in the Carrera GT, even though it was standard in many other models.

The suit raises other issues with the car, including claims there were deficient side door reinforcements and fuel lines that did not adequately protect the car from erupting in flames.
Meadow's lawyer, Jeff Milam, tells TMZ,

"The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street. And we shouldn't be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas."

The wrongful death lawsuit does not put a figure on damages

Celebrities / Caitlyn Jenner Has Been Legally Declared A Woman. by Johnpele: 11:22am On Sep 28, 2015
The 65-year-old star filed court documents at Los Angeles County Superior Court seeking an official name and gender change earlier this month and a judge approved her request on Friday.

The I Am Cait star, whose full name is now officially Caitlyn Marie Jenner, was not present for the short hearing, but the judge signed off on the changes after confirming there were no objections, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

Caitlyn's eldest son Burt Jenner recently warned her haters that she "will still whip you're ass at anything."
Alongside his photograph of the reality TV star with two young girls driving a pink toy car, the 37 year old wrote: 'So obviously a lot has changed... but thankfully, for me, the most important stuff didn't. My dad still loves toys, still loves to go fast... and will still whip your ass at... ANYTHING.

"Yup all you haters, my dad will still probably whip you're ass at 65 with implants (sic)."

Meanwhile Caitlyn's ex wife is still adjusting to the reality TV star's gender transition.
Linda Thompson, who has sons Brody and Brandon Jenner with Caitlyn, admitted that while she is supportive of Caitlyn, she does sometimes struggle with the fact that her former husband is now a ''beautiful woman''.

She explained: "I have to be honest and say it's strange for me to see this beautiful woman, and look in her eyes, and think, 'That's the father of my children.
"That being said, I'm totally supportive of her and always have been."

Business / How To Promote An Affiliate Program Using Facebook (very Effective) by Johnpele: 8:02pm On Sep 24, 2015
One of the ways through which you can make money with Facebook is by using it to promote an affiliate program.

An affiliate program is basically a program that allows you to make money when you refer buyers to the merchant. Before joining the program, one would first of all sign an agreement with the merchant or network that offers the program and then use his affiliate link to drive sales for a commission.

Nowadays, there is a growing number of ways through which internet marketers make money from affiliate programs. Some use Video marketing on sites like YouTube, some use blogging and article writing. However, there is a growing number of people now using social media platforms like Facebook.

Using a Facebook page for marketing

Let's say you joined an affiliate program that is into selling ipads for instance. You could stand to make about 5 to 10% per sale on any iPad your refer to customers. Now, when you consider the effort and money required to set up a niche blog just to promote iPads, you'd find out that it is actually easier to just open a niche page on Facebook. Yes, Facebook allows you to create pages and as far as I know, there is no limit yet to the number of pages you can create with your Facebook account.

A Facebook page is like a webpage and you can use it to promote your affiliate link. You can create a page by simply uploading pictures related to the affiliated product and then write a review on it. As more and more people visit the page looking for answers, you stand to earn more credit by answering their questions and providing them with tips. The more content you Facebook page has, the more traffic it would pull from search engines and the more likely you are going to make a commission from the affiliate links you have used on that page.

To Create a Facebook page is easy as you can do so by logging into Facebook and then going to
Using Facebook Ads for marketing:

Apart from creating a Facebook page for marketing to people, a quicker way through which you can get targeted traffic is by making use of Facebook pages. Unlike a Facebook page, you need to spend money on this and it is a pay per click sort of advertising just like Google adwords. The good thing about this is that you can targeted the right people easily based on their age, religion, school or even geographic location.

Some companies or marketers who use Facebook for their business may use a combination of Facebook ads and Pages just tor get the traffic they want. Whichever one works best for you, just stick to it.

Once you've create a Facebook page or ad, you would just include your affiliate link into it when you describe the product or service you are promoting. You can use a combination of pictures, videos and texts and then include your affiliate link. I'd advise you also use a url shortner when embedding your links on Facebook.
