If you share info on SM and you have the evidence to back up your story, why would be afraid to face the law? These Western ideas of talking without sense and making your insecurities the realities pig others should stop. Also, SM was used to spread deep seethed hate and division in America during the US last elections. Many govts in the Middle East were toppled via foreign influence through SM. Social Media is just to broad a territory to be without some form of regulation. |
And you are not afraid for the future of this country? Imagine the kind of children these ones will raise? God help us! |
My very docile people of Nigeria. My people dey sidon look as all your rights are being taken away gradually. In your own country, your movement is being restricted because of ID card?! Is Nigeria at war? That we have to cash ID cards around? I don't know what will provoke my people to action. |
Well, we'll see where this will lead. We like to copy without sense. The end to sex for marks is simple, all lecturers offices need to have CCTV. There needs to be records of all their activities in the privacy of their office. Never meet a lecturer alone (Male or Female) for any reason. If you cannot say it in front of someone else, don't say it at all or write a letter to your lecturer. Finally, if you teach a course, you cannot grade that course. Like Jamb or any other independent exam, the exams are marked by different people that have no contact or influence with the students. Let's do the right thing and stop all these drama inducing situations. |
Nigerians are the funniest people on earth. I don't know why you people are supporting someone who has been accused of stealing govt money. "Free the guy" "God fatherism is dangerous" "they should free this guy nah" etc. Are the cries of people whose collective wealth has been stolen by this dude. Let's look at it this way, has any top govt official in Lagos ever been convicted for any financial crime before? No! If Ambode will be the first, so be it. A time will come when those who are leading the charge against him will be on the other side of the fence and this same action against Ambode will be used as reference for their own prosecution too. In war, you don't stop your enemies from killing each other These politicians are our enemies. Be guided. |
SoNature:That is the collective problem of our society, we forget that society is made of many individuals whose destinies and lives are interdependent on each other's. His life is valuable, nobody know tomorrow. Obasanjo was fresh out of prison when he was elected President in 1999. This action also endangered the lives of other road users and passengers on board the vehicle he was sitting on. One person's mistake can cause catastrophic problems for many more. |
Nigerians will blame the govt for everything and never take responsibility for anything. Are you telling me that there were no passengers in that car that could force the driver to stop driving that car? Or other road users didn't see this absurdity and no one could stop him? Or is the driver from the moon? Risking his life for money like this is not an issue of poverty, it is just carelessness. There are poorer people and countries in the world, yet they wouldn't take risks like this. Until you can look your neighbors in the eyes and correct them when they are wrong, Nigeria still has a long way to go |
Cumtroller:LOL! Did you hear Yoruba in that video? Or you are just stoking the embers of tribal sentiments? Take it easy Sir! |
baby124:You don't know how easy it is to entrap a man, especially in these that all you just need to do is get a few people to corroborate your life and that man is gone. |
baby124:Don't worry! I am even in support of stricter rules governing student - lecturer relationships. Many girls will fail woefully. I knew intellectually lazy girls who only graduated back in school because they went to throw themselves at the HOD. However, sexual harassment, entrapment, and false sexual accusations should be discouraged from both sides by the law. Don't assume that students are helpless in all cases. There are students who are cultists or girlfriends to cultists, there students who are connected to powerful people in society, there are female students that are strong enough to rape a man,etc the possibilities are endless. |
We are all pretending like we don't know that students throw themselves at lecturers too. Who is addressing this issue too? Is there a law protecting lecturers rights too? |
First Nigerian?

This is what happens when we keep letting foreigners write the story of Africa. |
Many states have arable land, human resources, airports, tourist sites, etc that they can develop to earn more revenue. However, myopia and greed will not allow them to look for other revenue sources. Rather they let their citizens go to other African countries where they're treated with disdain and murdered. |
This is serious. 45 billion naira for 820 buses? 54 million Naira for one bus? It is amazing how people are trying to justify this wanton looting with "Tinubu is doing worse", "why are they which hunting him?" I hope you people are aware that this our collective wealth that is being siphoned by one person? Enriching other countries by stashing money in banks abroad? And you are supporting him because of tribal and political sentiments? Please let them witch hunt him. The hunter will be hunted someday too. Their party will not be in power forever. We just need to encourage a culture of accountability. Today it might seem political, what they don't know it that, they're laying the ground work for others coming after them to do more and better. We have to start somewhere. Fact: Poverty knows no religion, tribe or political party. Wake up and stop being tools in the hands of the oppressors, the guy you are arguing with on Naira land is not your problem. |
Who did this to us? Why are Africans so vain? Ebonyi?! Anybody who has ever lived in Ebonyi State will know that this Stadium is a misplaced priority. We need help soon! |
Joshmodest:Tinubu confided in Saraki? They didn't come across as confidants or buddies. He had the West in his pouch? Yet He lost Oyo state and almost lost Ogun? Do you know how hard they had to fight for Ekiti? Logically, your statements don't jive. Just say you don't like the guy. |
Dudeweedlmao:Normally I would not respond to you. But, you raised a strong point about us chasing them too. Even after Shagari chased them in 79 many of them still stayed. Even though it was Busia that initially chased Nigerians out of Ghana in 60s. I went to Primary schools in the 80s dominated by Ghanaian Teachers, there were Ghana shoemakers everywhere in Lagos up until 96 - 97. They never left, even though they were chased. There are times and there are seasons. You can not expect everything to be rosy always, that is why you need help and support from friends and family. Ghana did not always used to be this good, likewise Nigeria didn't always used to be like this. Now that Ghana is in a position to help Nigeria and Nigerians., they should be a bit empathetic to the Nigerian plight. They need to stop jumping to the press every time there is an issue involving Nigerians in Ghana. Even though most of the time these reported issues are still allegations. They never come out to say otherwise whenever these issues are proven to be false or inaccurate. BTW, you can make your point without asking a total stranger to shut up. Insults and invectives in civil conversations are signs of issues with ego, self worth and understanding. You can do better. May God restore the Glory of Nigeria! |
Blue3k:Very well said and I agree with you. There should be consequences to every action or inaction. However, what happens in the case of injustice and xenophobia? What I am complaining about is the victimization these innocent Nigerians who live & work legitimately in Ghana face. Ghanaians frustrate, harass, cheat, bully, etc these legitimate ones a lot. If as a Nigerian living in Ghana and a Ghanaian reports you to the police for any reason, you are in trouble whether you are guilty or not. Lawyers on opposing sides scheme behind their Nigerian clients in favor of the Ghanaians. There are many examples I have seen in the many years I have spent here. They need to stop jumping to the press every time there is an issue involving Nigerians in Ghana. Even though most of the time these reported issues are still allegations. They never come out to say otherwise whenever these issues are proven to be false or inaccurate. One day, God will restore the glory of Nigeria! |
Okoroawusa:If you come to Ghana you will see the difference! |
You see this West African Brotherhood is a farce. Nigerians are the ones who are not wise at all. When Nigeria was sweet in the 70s & 80s, Ghanaians were trooping into Nigeria, taking out jobs and using our passport to go abroad. Now that the case is reversed, Ghanaians have resorted to soiling the name of Nigeria at every opportunity they get. The Ghana immigration officials are more corrupt than Nigerian Immigration officials, they just operate with sense. Social media and other news platform in Ghana (myjoyonline.com Ghanaweb.com) are filled with so many hateful comments from Ghanaians and yet Nigerians will still show them love. The people of Ghana should remember that we will not forget how they have treated us in our time of need. |
It's strange how people support bad and terrible attitude from a distance. But, when the case is reversed and they are the ones that have to deal with someone with bad attitude, story will start. That is when they will turn wife beater, abuse, angry dad, etc. There is a Yorba proverb that says, it's fun watching masquerade beating other people, put painful when the cane is used on you too. Let's stop supporting bad behavior! |
When will my people have sense? This is the time for people like this to disappear from the social circuits. Just go and chill, let the dust blow over this matter wey FBEYE don put mouth. My people, it is not every old man that has sense... Wisdom is Profitable to direct. |
There is always a fee for "no show". Me nah master of missing flights. I have paid for "no show severally. It is usually between $100 - $150 depending on the airline and destination. I have had to pay a "no show" fee of $100 for a $180 - $200 flight - can't remember the exact amount again. |
Sowore was impatient and not tactical. Still behaving like an undergraduate student union activist. Revolutions are not made overnight. Calling for revolution even before the revolution starts gives your enemy ample time to plan to twart your revolution with government resources. Consider this, if you were in government and someone was planning to overthrow your government, would you lie in waiting for that to come to pass? Look at all the other countries were revolutions have taken place successfully, they never start out as revolutions. Step 1 They start out as protests against common issues that affect majority of the population. Gradually it will gain momentum and more people will participate. Once you have enough people protesting daily, you can increase the demands of the protests to include things that the govt will not be willing to compromise and they will have to use force on the protesters. Make sure there is enough international media coverage for the protests and government attacks on the citizens. Step 2 Then, change it to revolution. Go out and get support from other governments that will apply international pressure on your government and support you with food and other resources for your protests. Step 3 Pretend to be open to negotiations with the government, go to the negotiation tables with mostly outrageous demands and a few reasonable ones. Don't insist on the outrageous demands at first. Get the government to commit to the reasonable demands, go back to your protesters with these wins as it will be good for morale and a show of power for you. Then go hard with the unrealistic demands and draw a hard line with timeliness. Step 4 Begin to pick out individual actors, especially military leaders in the government for prosecution by ICC and sanctions by international governments. Turn around to support deserters in the military and win them over to your side. Note: The leader or the face of the revolution must never be arrested as this demystifies him and the revolution. He needs to have a hero persona. He should be able to evade arrest always. It is only a matter of time before you get what you want. |
Let's hope he survives this ordeal. |
NGpatriot:If you don't get it, it is fine. You are entitled to your opinion and it's okay to disagree. Thank you Mr Sense. I am sure you are making so much sense right now. Please stop trolling! |
chiefobdk:I agree with you! You are smarter, very smart! |
NGpatriot:What is it with you people and sense? Always quick to point out what is senseless, do you have a monopoly of sense? Do you lack the word "disagree" in your vocabulary? Saying you disagree with my comment would have been more appropriate. I am guessing you didn't get the sarcastic drift in the comment. My apologies for it flying over your head. If those cars were sold and the gains were added to the 3 million, Elizade or Mandillas will sell them better used cars with manufacturers' warranty. BTW, one person can have two opinions on the same matter, it is a sign of open mindedness. Life is not black or white. |
I have one question, are northerners not involved in yahoo yahoo? All the EFCC arrests are mostly southern states. This is a genuine question! |
jidemoh:Please stop saying these things! The man is running a savings and loans company. ![]() The govt of Ondo state is his only client. |
NGpatriot:. Some of us are like that O! We will say our mind. |
