Hmmmn! Can you see the lesson here? Dangote a Muslim Billionaire is friends with a Christian Pastor... Slowly think about it... Think again! You will be here on NL insulting Pastors and Men of God with you 5,000 bank balance. You think life is just by hard work and connections? Life is also spiritual... You better think twice and stop being a poor angry person. |
This lady spews a lot of anti-family and anti-marriage advise and comments on social media. If she failed at her own marriage, it doesnt mean others will. She should look inwards and heal from whatever hurt she is amplifying to the rest of the world. I send light and peace her way. |
So, I have some questions for Hushpuppi and WoodyBerry. 1.) Did you think it was going to last forever? If No, then you were not as smart as you thought. 2.) If yes, then what was your exit strategy? Did it involve becoming the object of contention between trans border security agencies? 3.) Why were you guys arrested so easily? Didn't you invest into security and intel gathering operations for own safety? 4.) Where were you buying things that were so expensive that it warrant investigations into the source of wealth of the owner of such items? 5.) Then use social media swear for all of una? What were you doing posting your life on social everyday? when you knew you were criminals? In summary, your lack of exposure and poor education is the reason why you are in this hot mess today. It is just sad that you have once again contributed significantly to soiling the name of Nigeria internationally. |
bigseank:On a lighter note, How many years you spend for LASU? because these incidents you mentioned occurred well over 10 year apart. You be LASU ancestor! |
So many negative comments, as many as just desirous of reinforcing their biases that are based on ethnic and tribal sentiments. I pray the break up of Nigeria never happens in some of your lifetimes, then you will know you were just ungrateful for what God gave you. You think Nigeria will split and it will be well the sub entities? Do you know the local and international power tussle that will reverberate through those entities? Please go and read about other entities that towed the same line in Africa. Don't go and read about Europe and Co... Look for African stories and you will just pray for Nigeria to work. |
Boldness that wasn't necessary! Why climb an electric pole when you are not trained to do so? What a sad tale! Stop being a hard guy, you might end up like this. |
I always tell people, every time you lower the bar on civility, It never comes back up. It can only get worse. This what we need to avoid as a people! |
Nigerians better get ready! These are the kind of ill thought through policies govt will be churning out in the coming as oil revenue keeps disappearing. Many of you wanted Fowler out - who increased Lagos govt internally generated revenue when Obj refused to give Lagos federal allocation for 8 years without burdening the populace - now you will get the whip from elements that don't care about the people and would not be bothered about using their brains. Don't worry, winter is coming! |
FGonline:I dey tell you! Mama rugged wella! Na woman like man! Some 20 years ago, my mama beat Sister (who was like 27 years old then ooo), let even say both of them fought physically, my sister be like person wey escape for lion hand. When my then 40 year Uncle saw my sister some days after with her battle wounds, he just started laughing at my sister. He said "you should have asked for my opinion before fighting your mother. When I was in the university, it was the fear of your mother beating me that made me face my studies and graduate with good grades. Anytime our mother wanted to discipline me, she report me to your mother, who would beat me, a full grown man, blue black." |
Lol! These people never know wetin dey happen. Una go borrow tire. |
This is sad! However, this the reality of the current global economic conditions. Oil money is going to keep disappearing and a mono income economy like ours will only continue to be brutally beaten. The next thing will be to tighten the taxation belt, citizen need to be ready for the change ahead. |
Yet we blame others... |
Looking for oil? Can they see the price of oil? Can they just look at all the politics around oil? Yet they want oil in the north, when they have endless arable land for farming and livestock? I give up! |
Nigerians killing Nigerians because of profit and money. Yet they will blame govt & leaders for everything... All those people shouting that Nigeria doesn't belong together will be in for the shock of their life when Nigeria splits. Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba or any other tribe, we are still the same covetous, greed and vain people. If we don't fix our collective values, if you like spilt Nigeria into households, these issues will persist. |
Omo, my mama tough O! I don't know if I can marry her type as she stubborn join the thing. I love her to death as my mama buh as a wife, I go run O jare. |
This is what all these Other Africans do. They do everything within their powers to ruin Nigeria and Nigerians. Nigerians with their large hearts are also always to generous to see that the people around them hate them. These are frivolous issues but are being weaponized by listing large numbers of issues. The US wants him out of the organization, he has been investing in programs that will genuinely benefit Africa and Africans. These organizations are set up to keep Africans perpetually impoverished. |
I don't agree with the Police detaining him as this should be a civil matter between the Poet and Lai and Lai can use the services of the appropriate court to seek redress. However, this isn't poetry. This is repugnant and utterly tasteless. Nothing justifies the vituperations, we need to stop lowering the bar on civility, It never gets better. He could have passed the same message in a more sensible way. |
Dude! There are other things wrong with you mentally and psychological that you need to address urgently. I have always had differently colored patches on my chest and stomach. I have had a full iron burn mark on my stomach since childhood. I always remove my shirt anywhere, my wife is always angry about it. Let me shock you, I even have a big round belly too and I don't care at all about what anybody thinks about me. Nobody can tell you who you are but you. Get help in fixing your mind, your body isn't the problem. |
Take heart Bro. Things are hard today doesn't mean they won't get better tomorrow. 1. When your rent expires, kindly move away from that neighborhood so that your wife will not be seeing her ex often cos this will keep making her sad. Women can be like that sometimes. 2. Do not wish the other guy evil... Just ask God to lift you too and wish him well. Don't be bitter towards your wife or her ex, you need to learn to let go and have a good heart. 3. Spend time with your wife talking about the the plans for the future and how your current steps will lead to them. Hopefully, this will reassure her and help her get over her regrets. 4. Don't fight her during this period, she needs to feel like someone is on her side, especially now that even her own thoughts are accusing her of making a bad decision by leaving her ex. Speak kindly to her, help her out in the house, support her dreams, show her that you love her. Stop fighting her, even when she is edgy, be the bigger man and calm her down. 5. Finally, you need to double down on your hustle Bro, don't get complacent. Find new things to do, learn new skill, get a second job, get a side gig, just keep moving. May God grant you wisdom and success. |
For those of you that don't know, this guy is the main reason why LASG has taken up this matter. He was the main target, Funke and Co are just collateral damage. He fell into a trap that was avoidable! |
lonelydora:Where is your evidence? |
NimrodEndOfDays:TROLL! Shoooo! Be gone! |
NimrodEndOfDays:TROLL! Be gone! |
NimrodEndOfDays:Whoever you are, asking to " Please try and be intelligent when making comments!!" says plenty about how you narrowly see yourself/your views as the only source of intelligence on Naira land. I don't feed trolls! Look elsewhere! |
What is scary is the amount of people commenting on this thread still believing this bullocks. This means there are more people who will fall for this weak scam. |
StaffofOrayan:Having exchanged a couple of messages with you in the past 48 or so hours I have come to understand the way your mind works. You have a set of Ideas in your head you want to further and anything different from that is extremely hard for you to understand. Also, you deflect issues by reading to argue and not necessarily to UNDERSTAND. You use a lot of emotional blackmail by trying to make issues personal, making wildly inaccurate presumptions about people/issues you barely know anything about - says a lot about your view of Nigeria. Eg. Even though you have done so severally, I could have also made pronouncements about the fate of your unborn generations and communities if you continue on this path of secession You are very hung up on blaming everybody else but yourself for all the problems around you and would even degenerate to mockery of those who try to impact a change and fail at it. Those that dare to struggle are also daring to win. Stop looking elsewhere for help. It starts with you. As such, I have decided to stay true to where this simple conversation started from, if you want to leave Nigeria, ask your Indigent Political leaders in South Eastern Nigeria what they have been doing the billions of dollars in federal allocation that they have been receiving since 1999. If you can get them to answer, then be rest assured that they will call for a referendum and you will get your new nation. No matter the quantum of non-related issues you spew here it won't change the fact that the political class across Nigeria is the same and they have been using tribe and ethnicity as a weapon of division for many years. |
StaffofOrayan:Many excuses! Fulani is the reason why the the Senators/House of rep members representing Imo or Enugu or Anambra have not asked for referendum on the floor of the National Assembly? Go through the right channels first, hold your reps accountable and force your reps to ask for secession, if they ever will. |
StaffofOrayan:Now you are beginning to resort to vituperations, a sign that you are just arguing for the sake of it. This conversation is not about me or Fela, it is about your inability to take responsibility for your own destiny and face your real enemy from within - the political class. No matter how long you wait for me, I won't be the one to further your secessionist cause. I will stand against the political class when the time is right. You are the one that says everything is bad. Do your fair share of the lifting by simply asking for better governance from your ward level, start from some where. You think Brexit was achieved on the pages of newspapers or on the internet? People went out into the streets, knocked on doors, canvassed for support. They paid price, it was not given to them on a platter of Gold. They forced their politicians to debate the matter in parliament by calling their constituency offices and meeting their MPs in townhall meetings. Has any of your representatives tendered a secession agenda before the national assembly? You think referendum was just announced on TV? People put effort into getting it done through the appropriate channels - their elected representatives. Go and hold your local leaders responsible for your referendum, let them gather enough support for your cause, then we will have the referendum. Hold you leaders accountable in your village, town, constituency, LGA, Senatorial districts, state and then you can begin to look forward to better things. Start from somewhere. The simple truth the political class has failed us all from North to South and they have sown seeds of discord that people like you keep peddling for them for free and furthering their stay in power. |
mindtricks:Then we should start breeding our own monsters. Politicians are the enemies not any tribe or people. |
StaffofOrayan:Stop reading to argue, read to understand and not necessarily to agree. You have a way with detracting conversations from the real purpose and I think it will be counter productive for you in other areas. You don't want to do the work, yet you want the easy way out? Blaming everything but yourself or your kin. All these talk about what is bad and the many fallacious appellations will only go with whatever contraption you decide to leave Nigeria on if your dreams come true. You can't face your councilor in your village yet you want to secede? What an irony! ![]() Fela's struggle was not a secessionist one, it was one hinged on accountability and rule of law. And he was willing to pay the price because he knew the price wasn't going to be cheap. But, like you are doing now, many back then kept focusing on the divisionist and self serving politics of the time and they never supported Fela in the numbers that would have forced politicians to be accountable at the time. So the fight has been passed unto us. My Aluta sujourn was what gave these insights into what the real problem is. I tell you what I went through. I was victimized by lecturers, school management, my results were withheld for years, I went to NYSC with my younger sister (whom I am 7 years older than)'s friends, we were tear gassed, arrested, ridiculed by colleagues, ended up with a 3.15 CGPA when I could have easily done 4.2 CGPA, spent 8 years getting a BSc degree. But you know what, I never regretted standing up for the collective good. Since you asked about what it brought me, I will tell you. I am more open minded, I am loved by many of my comrades in struggle, I understand the power of strength in numbers. I understand the politics of fear, divide and rule. I am prepared for a future of liberation. The size of the Nigerian military is 181,000 including the reserve forces, if we the over 180 million people of Nigeria stand by our votes, how many of us will they kill? How many of us can they silence? Some of us are not afraid to stand up to oppression, we are not living on tables of the past, we are very well grounded in the realities of our time. We know where the problem lies and whose responsibility it is to liberate the people of Nigeria. We are coming! I leave you to your fabled secession! FYI: I didn't run out of Nigeria, I have never traveled to any country outside of Nigeria without it being for work related issues. |
ZZ22: ![]() I know comprehension can be tricky. Thank you for your contribution! |
mindtricks:Please if you are scared of guns, you are not ready to pay the price for what you want. |
