There will be constant power supply. We'll get to the root of the matter. |
It's very disheartening that the President has no confidence in the health care system of the country he governs. It is a self-indictment if his failure in that sector. There are a handful of decent hospitals in Lagos and Abuja that can boast of having cutting-edge medical equipment. The billion-naira question is: why can't he make use of these hospitals, at least for mild medical cases? I can't imagine Angela Merkel being taken to the US for medical attention. Absolutely impossible! I wish our President good health and long life. However, he needs to sit up and do the needful in our health sector! |
Op, would you have felt this way if you had met Big Joe when he was still a 'poor' lecturer in Uniport? Let me answer that question for you: a big no. Anyway you are not alone; millions of women feel exactly the way you do about presidents and other powerful figures. However, I wish you goodluck. ![]() |
amjou: Mr, are you alright?Very funny man |
myola777: have you been to all these states? or you are just rating base on hearsay.Yeah I've been to many of the states. I'm rating the ones I haven't been to, based on credible info at my disposal. |

SiriusBlack: This thread's only concern is the Army's military campaign...What you are talking about is more of DSS work..The army can't track down Terrorist sleeper cells in Kaduna, Lagos and Abuja...that is simply not the Army's job...The SSS has its duty..whether or not its doing that, that's for the SSS to decide..not the army.I have no choice than to break my silence at this juncture and drop a comment. Your lucid writing style and composure in the face of unwarranted provocative remarks is enviable. I'm equally impressed with your sagacity. You are indeed very versed in military tactics. I pray you emerge as the COAS in the future. My contribution to this awesome thread: Ak47s should be phased out in the Army for two reasons- the 30 rounds a typical Ak-47 magazine can accomodate isn't ideal for long gun battles and the relatively short effective engagement range of about 250 meters the assault rifle has, makes it inappropriate for long range engagement. Rifles like Hk416, M16A or better still, new variants of the AK, should replace the old school Ak-47 rifles. GOD bless and protect you and the other troops on the frontlines. Majority of us here are enjoying the thread, so more bullets to ur assault rifle. Pls keep on firing more pictures onto the thread. Thank you. |
matify: It beats my imagination what our officers are thought in the Academy.Spot on. The way they are just wasting the lives of our soldiers is disheartening. It's as if the Generals just like sending the recruits on suicide missions. A lieutenant said soldiers sent to confront boko haram boys are always issued with Ak-47s and barely functional Rpgs. Isn't that absurb? Ak-47s that have a max effective range of about 300 meters! It's just sad. |
Menh I will really miss this man. A sagacious and quintessencial lawyer! Always a delight to watch and listen to him on tv. A very sound lawyer and human rights activist per excellence. R.I.P Sir. |
GOD bless you brother, more grease to your elbow. |
I can't believe people aren't interested in this kind of news. Nigerian youths must wake up asap, unless the future is bleak. The Nigerian Oil Scam has been described by foreigners as the greatest fraud Africa has ever known and Nigerian youths are quiet. We prefer to suffer in countries like India, Sudan and Iran instead of holding our leaders accountable. The looting of Nigeria's common wealth with impunity must stop. Let's do something to save our posterity. |
GOD bless you for your work |
Decent and promising writing skills. Work harder, and you will get there. |
Mesmerizing short story. Seamless and fluid writing style that deeply engages the reader. Simply advice; don't stop writing, you have a great future ahead in it. |
More adulterated diesel to ur petrol engine. On a serious note, keep ur literary gun smoking. You are doing well. |
We will make the rapture in JESUS NAME. |
GOD bless you |
I shouldn't really comment because I haven't had any heartbreak experience in my close to thirty years of existence in this world. Being a regular guy that dated quite extensively in my active days, u might say I've been lucky. Well, u may be right. Or wrong. But this has been my strategy: once I love a girl, I always confirm beyond any reasonable doubt she loves me back before asking her out. This is how I went about it; I would first make friends with her, then give her hints of my affection for her and assess her reaction. Once she doesn't evince any signs she loves me, I abort the mission abruptly, no matter how much I love her. For girls I don't love, I ask them out without d due process and assess their disposition towards me on a steady basis. Immediately I sense withdrawal symptoms, I don't hesitate to pull out. My general advice for both sexes is that we should always try to confirm the other party reciprocates our love before commiting ourselves. This will nip many heartbreaks in the bud. One-side love is a recipe for inevitable heartbreak. Actually, I programmed myself not to fall helplessly in love with any lady and was succeding till I met my wifey. Although I applied d strategy of ensuring she had strong feelings for me before commiting myself, I found myself breaking most of the relationship rules I had been abiding with in subsequent relationships. That's love for u. I found myself tolerating somethings I never tolerated from d women I dated previously. But I never lost my senses. I loved and still love her with all my heart but I still assess her reciprocal love on a steady basis. I love her as much as any man can love a woman but I still flirt with d idea that nobody is indispensable at the back of my mind. I hope she doesn't read this ![]() |
GOD will make us rapturable. Amen |
The next pdp convention should probably be held in space. The space shuttle should however be launched without any assistance from foreign experts. |
I've been following the progress of this remarkable officer for some time. He's an exemplary operational police officer who displays uncommon passion and stoicism in the discharge of his duties. I can categorically state that Ikeja Sars under his leadership remains the best and most effective Sars outfit in the country. He deserves a national honor and many more awards for his outstanding feats. GOD bless Abba Kyari. |
My FATHER and GOD, I cry to you with all my strength, please grant me, my fiance, family, friends including the poster above me, the special grace to make Heaven when death calls or when the trumpet sounds. This is the mother of all prayers! |
Why do most of our government officials prevaricate so brazenly? I hope some of his relatives who aren't living with him at his residence that enjoys 16 hours/day can summon the courage to tell him the truth to his face. I bet they can't(awoof money don finish be that). Mr. Power Minister, nigerians deserve some respect! |
It's an abomination for this masterpiece not to be published. Many of the american and european romance novels we read are not this good. Lola is simply a prolofic writer with vivid imagination. I'm a crime thriller author and I'm optimistic I can do a collabo with you- the way James Patterson, the best-selling american novelist does with other authors, in the future. |
People, beware of pride! It's not the best to underrate the Namibian National Team. Underdogs spring surprises in today's contemporary football. Rather than boast, pray for the Super Eagles. |
I would have liked Mr. President to mention just one 'goodluck' his name has brought to the country. But he mentioned none because there is none. Mr. President, we are eagarly waiting for 2015 to do the right thing. |
If my gf tells me this, she knows the relationship is automatically over. If ur girl were mine, she wouldn't tell me unless she's tired of the relationship. Be that as it may, it's very possible nothing happened. Tell u what, it has actually happened to me b4. Not once. Way back, when I was somewhat a badt guy, I had a principle: any girl in a serious relationship was off limits to me no matter what. Karma tinz. There were two or three of my female friends who slept in my house without me making any romantic move. I had this particular female friend I really clicked with who used to stay late and crash at my place. Her fiance would sometimes call and she'd claim to be in her hostel.Make no mistake, d girl is attractive and heavily endowed. But d girl was lucky cos I was a principled and disciplined guy.Still is. Unfortunately, there r some guys who have wild libidos and can't let this kinda opportunity pass them by and even grab it by force- rape. Ur babe did a wrong thing to call a spade a spade. |
This is a heartwarming news.I have been tracking this remarkable woman in the past ten years and I can authoritatively declare she's an exemplary woman. A quintessential activist and democrat per excellence. I pray GOD continues to guide, protect and take care of her and the family. I would be very happy if she can vie for a senatorial position and ultimately become the senate president. Meanwhile I will try to convince the Gcfr to confer on Mrs Odumakin a CON or better still a GCON award. |
As a writer, I know a talent when I see one. Mazi, I'm confident you have a stellar future in writing. You may want to consider fiction writing in the future. I will like to have your contact details for future literary collaborations. I'm a crime thriller writer inspired by James Patterson's writing style. We could be co-authors just like Jp does with other writers to churn out crime/romance thriller masterpieces. |
The Op no doubt is a very sagacious and experienced man. As a veteran in this game, I can confirm the Op is 99% on point. The first deadly mistake some guys make is trying to force themselves on ladies. A guy must confirm a lady likes him to some extent b4 even asking her out and spending any reasonable amount of money on her. U can only control someone that likes and sends you. Then it's very dangerous to be too nice to ladies even the ones that love you. I av been applying most of the Op's tactics since I started dating and I can boldly say no lady has ever ditched me. I'm always fully in control of my relationships. Nobody believes when I tell them my fiance is older than me when they see how she relates with me. I don't talk too much. Op, GOD bless you. |
So far so good, I have not done anything extraordinary I regret cos I'd known for a long time that most women are ungrateful. If u give a woman 1 biliion dollars, she can still cheat on u or worse still dump you for a guy that can't give as much. Most women are unpredictable. My current fiance is the only woman I have dated that I try to go out of my way to please. Please note that this is reciprocal. I advice newcomers and adolescent boys to tread softly and don't do things that will put them in jeopardy because of their lovers. Same advice goes out to d ladies. Many ppl have suffered seroius emotionally and mental damage from investing too much hope and doing outrightly crazy things for their partners. A word of advice is sufficient for the wise and dat word keeps multiplying exponentially in his/her mind. |
