Christianity EtcRe: Why You Shouldn't Wait To See Hell Fire First Before You Believe That It Exists by johnstin(m): 3:08pm On Jan 24, 2021
Theophinio:
Repent Now and be save from eternal burning
JESUS is the only Way
Hell is more real than Earth itself
#BEWISE
Hell is very real. I pray people will not get to hell before realize it.
People are rationalizing that because GOD is loving and can not create hell.
We human beings just like crossing our boundary. Who are we to question the Almighty GOD? GOD can do what He likes. The important thing is that GOD has given us two options: heaven and hell.
On the great judgement day, people will be very gentle upon seeing the LORD GOD Almighty in His glory.
There will be no excuse, I repeat, there will be no acceptable excuse for anyone who has not surrendered and followed our Lord Jesus Christ to the end.
You can't say you haven't heard.
Christianity EtcRe: Dr Olukoya's Prophecies For 2021 by johnstin(m): 12:08pm On Jan 01, 2021
profmallor:
Prophecy or speculations, these are guides towards achieving a fulfilled 2021 ahead. Some in America, Europe can relate to these sayings cause they are already in the middle of chaos. But in Nigeria cause God has been gracious to us, many want to hear dates of when events would happen. Such are the ones that believe men that tell them the meals they had last night.

No prophecy is sacrosanct. The Bible if filled with prophecies that changed. God asked a prophet to tell a king on the bible he would die, God asked Jonah to tell a city they would be destroyed. None of these eventually happened, because there was repentance. Dr Olukoya is saying walk with God, pray more tread the path of holiness so we can be empowered and guided to handle what 2021 holds.

You have nothing to lose if you heed
Almighty GOD bless you
Christianity EtcRe: Dr Olukoya's Prophecies For 2021 by johnstin(m): 12:06pm On Jan 01, 2021
The Almighty GOD will continue to bless and protect Dr. Daniel Olukoya. GOD has used this man to deliver hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people from demonic bondage, oppression and affliction around the world. We Nigerians should be very grateful that GOD sent him to our country out of all the countries in Africa where idolatry, demonic worship and sacrifices held away for thousands of years before the gospel of our LORD and saviour Jesus Christ made its glorious entry into the continent. Curses, evil covenants and ancestral afflictions have been adversely affecting all families because of many years of idolatry but GOD used Apostle Ayo Babalola and is now using Pastor Daniel Olukoya to set people free from demonic bondage.
I was a certified Christian before I had contact with MFM last year. I have experienced dramatic victories over the powers of darkness since I started praying their prayers. I make bold to say many other churches receive spiritual warfare training from MFM.
My people, if the devil has made your life miserable or if you are contemplating suicide, Hurry to MFM and diligently apply what you are thought there. There's a 100% guarantee that you will have a glorious testimony.
GOD bless you.

Righteousness89:
Wisdom is Profitable to Direct!

By Bible Prophecies of Ezekil 38, Isreal has to do so because of the Countries they are Signing the So called Peace deals with would Likely Join the Enemies to Fight the Ezekil 38 War..

The Peace Deals being Signed are not Lasting Peace. There is No Peace In Isolation of the Prince of Peace which is JESUS.

Expect more Arab Nations to sign Peace deals with Israel. I Hear Sudan is on the line to sign.

Isreal is yet to Acknowledge JESUS as the Messiah! They are Right now Expecting a messiah, but the messiah they are expecting is not JESUS Christ.

Their Rejection of JESUS Christ as The Messiah is what Gave us, Gentiles the Privilege to Know and Receive JESUS Christ. See Romans 11:11-21, 25-36

At the Right time in the Midst of the Great Tribulation, after the False messiah has shown his Real self , they will Repent and Look to the True Messiah, JESUS Christ to Save them . Romans 11:25-27

The Peace deals with Many of Daniel 9:27 is not From JESUS Christ, it's From the False Messiah! The Lawless zone! The So called Man of peace!

Whenever any So called Peace and Safety is being what will Follow is Destruction. All these Events are Chronicled in the Bible . 1thel5:3

The Next time the Earth will Witness GENUIE Peace is When we who were Raptured return on Earth with JESUS Christ for the Millienium Reign.

Don't be Deceived by all these Peace here! Peace there up and Down..

What is Holding Events as of Today is Rapture of the Saints , which will usher in the 7 years Peace deal with Many..

The RAPTURE of the Saints is the Next Event on the Prophetic Time table..

Anytime ! Any Moment we are off!

That's why we Preach the True Messiah , Jesus Christ as the Way , the Truth and the Life..

Isreal knows there will be a War as Bible Prophecies say so! Them being Careful with that is application of Wisdom..

GOD bless you abundantly for your accurate analysis. I just pray that those who are saying all sort of inappropriate words will not have themselves to blame after the rapture.
Whether anyone likes it or not, the rapture will occur and only those who have given their lives to Jesus Christ and who remain holy till the end will make it.
Whether we like it or not, there is heaven and hell. For those that don't believe, I pray it will not be too late for you to find out.

Before Jesus Christ saved my soul, I used to love and listen to secular music. However, immediately I was saved, secular music and videos became irritating to me. I threw away cos of all the secular artists I had. It was just natural and no one told me to do it.
Secular music which glorifies the flesh can not appeal to a Christain that lives in the spirit. Never!

My brother Linlingentle, I will be very honest with you, this case is spiritual and you can only emerge victoriously, if and only if you approach the situation spiritually. The final plan of the enemy is to make you commit suicide or kill your wife, or both.
Actions to be taken:
1. Sincerely give you life to Jesus Christ of you have not already done so.
2. Steer clear of any sin.
3. Never retaliate when she attacks you.
4. Become a prayer warrior and disarm any evil spirit inhabiting and operating through your wife on a daily basis.
5. Be kind to her in spite of anything she does.
6. Pray that GOD should give you the grace to endure.
Expected Result: You wife will either change or run away from you.
Nairaland GeneralCauses Of Cooking Gas (LPG) Cylinder Explosion by johnstin(op): 2:42pm On Apr 25, 2020
Overfilling Camp Gas Cylinders

It is very possible to fill 3kg, 5kg, 6kg, 10kg and 12.5kg camp gas cylinders to their maximum capacities of 3.5kg, 6kg, 7.1kg, 11.2kg and 13.5kg of LPG, respectively.
But the vital reason a cooking gas cylinder must not be filled to its maximum capacity is that some space above the liquefied petroleum gas (liquid state) must be reserved for the expansion of LPG vapor( gaseous state), which occurs when the ambient temperature increases.

In essence, a 3kg camp gas cylinder filled to its maximum capacity of 3.5kg, will have no space for this vapor expansion, which occurs when the surrounding temperature rises. And because camp gas cylinders are not equipped with a safety device known as the pressure relief valve(PRV), which relieves the pressure of a gas cylinder when it builds up to a level that exceeds the design pressure of a cylinder, an explosion is the inevitable outcome of overfilling such cylinders.

Old, substandard and fake camp gas cylinders are the most vulnerable to explosion.
Desist from overfilling your cylinders, and also from using old, substandard and fake camp gas cylinders, to substantially mitigate the risk of explosion.

Overfilling LPG Cylinders equipped with Pressure Relief Valves (PRV)

Standard, Util, Nido and Cut valve-type cylinders that are equipped with pressure relief valves(PRV) can equally explode, if the ambient temperature increases very rabidly such that the pressure inside the cylinder quickly builds up and exceeds the pressure rating value of the pressure relief valve(PRV).

Overfilling a cylinder increases the likelihood of such a catastrophic occurrence.

Gas Leakage

Uncontrolled leakage of gas from the body of a LPG cylinder, valve, regulator, hose or from the gas cooker, that results in the formation of a gas-air mixture within the flammability range, when ignited by any ignition source, will cause an explosion of any filled cooking gas (LPG) cylinder around the immediate vicinity.

This is as a result of the rapid increase in the ambient temperature which forces the vapor pressure in the cylinders to skyrocket and exceed the cylinder’s design pressure/pressure relief valve’s pressure rating.

Slamming a filled cooking gas cylinder on a hard floor

Slamming an old, substandard or fake cylinder filled with LPG on a hard surface, may result in an explosion, if the cylinder ruptures at the point of impact with the hard surface.

The impact will cause a spark, which will ignite the spilled LPG and result in an explosion.
Similarly, the pressure inside an overfilled gas cylinder that is slammed on a hard surface will make the vapor pressure of the LPG in the cylinder to rise sharply.

Factors such as the tensile strength of the cylinder, quality of the valve and presence/quality of the pressure relief valve(PRV), will determine whether an explosion will occur or not.

Closing Prayer

You will not land in the Burns Unit of the hospital or exit planet earth in disastrous style via LPG (Cooking Gas) cylinder explosion in Jesus name. Amen.

BusinessThe Rapidly Changing Investment Climate In Nigeria’s LPG Industry by johnstin(op): 4:43pm On Apr 22, 2020
Available statistics from impeccable sources and the visible evidence all over the country, clearly reveal that Nigeria’s LPG industry which was in a state of ‘coma’ prior to 2007, has fully recovered from its ‘coronavirus’ and is now bubbling with life and in a good state of health.

Precisely from 2016 to the present time, the country’s LPG industry has witnessed a flurry of unprecedented investments in LPG retail outlets, LPG Skid Plants, Standard Cooking Gas Plants, LPG Depots, LPG Bobtails/Bridgers, Ocean-going LPG Vessels and other critical LPG infrastructure.

If one must not be economical with the truth, the LPG industry in Nigeria is increasingly getting saturated.

The estimated time for the industry to reach a saturation point of about 95% is projected to be between 2-5 years. Therefore, the wise investor still has some time to make some calculated investment moves in the country’s LPG industry before this period elapses.

LPG Retail Outlet Business

It is now commonplace to see 50kg cylinders used for the transfer/sale of gas at LPG retail outlets on most streets in all the cities of Nigeria. But the truth is there are still some streets with a high population density that do not have any LPG retail outlet.
A wise investor can seize the opportunity to secure suitable and safe locations on such streets to set up LPG retail outlets.

The wise investor will definitely capture a good percentage of LPG users on the street, who will prefer to refill their cylinders near their homes and avoid the stress/cost of going long distances for the refill of their cylinders.

There are also existing opportunities in some villages with a decent population density that have no LPG retail outlet yet. With good and proper orientation by the LPG retail outlets situated in these villages, several households will readily switch to LPG(Cooking Gas).

LPG Skid Plants

Some residential estates and neighborhoods with moderate/high population densities have no or a limited number of LPG retails outlets that cannot adequately serve them.

A wonderful opportunity presents itself to a wise investor in such estates/neighborhoods for the establishment of an LPG Skid Plant (2.5 Ton- 10 Ton) to serve the LPG users there.

A sizeable percentage of LPG users that have a preference to refill their cylinders at LPG Plants will automatically be won over, while some other patrons of LPG retail outlets will also patronize the skid plant.

The smaller space requirement for an LPG Skid Plant makes it a cheaper and better option to a standard Gas Plant in such estates and neighborhoods.

Standard LPG Plants

Some cities, towns and large local government areas in Nigeria that require at least five standard Gas Plants, have just two or three.
This means LPG users and retailers (that buy in bulk from these standard Gas Plants) have to travel long distances and undergo some stress to access these plants. The establishment of Standard LPG Plants in these areas will make a lot of investment sense because there will be a guarantee of patronage from hordes of LPG users and cooking gas retail outlet users.

Additionally, some areas that have clusters of residential estates are only served by LPG retail outlets and LPG Skid Plants. Setting up a Standard Gas Plant in such an area is undoubtedly a wise investment decision. This is because the Standard LPG plant will offer substantially lower prices of cooking gas to home, commercial and industrial users.

The lower prices offered by the Standard Gas Plant, which LPG Retail outlets and Skid Plants can never match, will make hordes of home, industrial and commercial users of LPG to troop to the standard Gas Plant to refill their gas cylinders.

LPG Bobtails

The number of LPG Bobtails in the country is still inadequate to serve the industry.
What makes this very obvious is that some LPG Skid Plants, restaurants, hospitals, breweries and other industrial users that possess LPG tanks with capacities ranging from 1 Metric Ton to 10 Metric Tons, wait for a week or more to receive their supply of LPG, after making their order.

Investing in LPG Bobtails remains a wise investment decision because no embargo has been placed on the establishment of LPG Skid Plants, restaurants, big hotels, etc, that use LPG storage tanks.

LPG Bridgers(20-25 Metric Ton capacity LPG Truck)

Although some Standard Gas Plants have their own LPG Bridgers, those with high turnover still need to rent Bridgers to bring in the product from LPG depots.
For instance, a standard LPG Plant that sells at least 20 Tons of gas in a day and has only two 20 Ton LPG bridgers in its fleet, will definitely need to rent LPG Bridgers from time to time, in order not to run out of stock on a constant basis.

Delays in loading the product at the depot, stock-out at the depots, truck break-downs and long duration of the round-trip from the plant’s location to the LPG Depot, are some of the major reasons for the inevitability of the constant rentage of LPG Bridger by the Standard Gas Plant.

LPG Depots and Ocean-going LPG Vessels

Comprehensive feasibility studies will be required before an investment decision can be made on the establishment of an LPG Depot or the purchase of an LPG Ocean-going Vessel.

Residential Estate or City LPG Piping Network

Similarly, this also requires some feasibility studies.

Inter and Intra State LPG Piping Network

Detailed feasibility studies must be undertaken before any investment decision can be made on a massive project like this one.

BusinessProblems That Threaten the Survival Of LPG(Cooking Gas) Retail Outlet Business by johnstin(op): 1:56pm On Apr 20, 2020
• The tendency of your gas attendant to claim there’s no patronage while he/she usually exhausts 50kg bottles of cooking gas and goes to refill at the gas plant without your knowledge

• The quality of customer service your gas attendant offers to your customers will determine if you will retain or lose your customers

• The establishment of a big gas plant that sells gas at low prices near your LPG retail outlet. This will drastically reduce the number of your customers if you don’t redouble your efforts to satisfy them

• The tendency of your gas attendant to short-fill your customers. This will make you lose customers who will be dissatisfied with the rate at which their cooking gas is being depleted. Meanwhile, your gas attendant is getting enriched at your expense

• Loss/reduction of patronage arising from the extra services like home service, extended opening hours and cooker/cylinder/LPG accessory repairs and maintenance, being offered by the competitors (other LPG retailers and LPG Skid Plants) in your area

• Selling LPG on credit. If you sell cooking gas on credit to the extent that it eats too deeply into your working capital, you will not be able to re-stock and this will eventually make the business to crumble. Some unscrupulous customers who have bought gas from your outlet on credit will ‘navigate’ to other places for subsequent gas refill; you might not be able to recover your money at the end of the day

• Inadequate number of 50kg cylinders. For instance, if you have just two or three 50kg cylinders, you are at risk of running out of gas if there’s any glitch in the supply process. You might end up losing customers when they get to your outlet only to discover that you don’t have gas. If this happens twice or thrice, you might lose them for good

• Your lack of financial discipline can ruin the business. If you are fond of using the capital for refilling gas for your other needs, you might end up at the plateau of only being able to refill just two out of your fifteen bottles of 50kg.

FamilyCamp Gas Burner Producing Weak Flame Or Not Producing Any Flame by johnstin(op): 12:05pm On Apr 18, 2020
There’s nothing more frustrating than getting to your house from work in high spirits around 9:00 P.M to quickly prepare a delicious meal of jollof-rice and fried plantain, only to discover that your burner is producing very weak flame, or worse still, not producing any flame at all.

Calling your gasman/woman to immediately rush down to your house at this hour to fix the problem, might be an exercise in futility.

Cheer up! Fixing any of the two problems is not mission impossible if you have faith and can lay your hands on the right tools; which are quite easy to come by.

Solution to the Problem

• Remove the cap of your burner and bang it gingerly on a hard surface to get rid of all the dirt inside it and food particles blocking its gas ports. Do it until you are convinced all the dirt inside the cap has been removed and the gas ports are free. Insert a needle into all the gas ports on the burner cap to confirm they are free.

• If the step above doesn’t produce the desired result, disassemble the burner control. Then use a ring spanner of size 6, 7 or 8, to unscrew the jet. Clean the inside of the jet and use a needle to remove the dirt blocking the jet’s tiny hole.
Once this is accomplished, reassemble your burner and start cooking.

Enjoy your tasty meal!

Business2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant Vs LPG Retail Outlet (using 50kg Cylinders) by johnstin(op): 11:54am On Apr 18, 2020
LPG Retail Outlet (Using 50kg cylinders)- Advantages

• In most cases, the landing cost of 50kg of gas is lower than the landing cost of the equivalent of 50kg of gas for a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant.
• It doesn’t require much space. All you need is a 4-8 square feet shop or container, depending on the number of cylinders in your possession.
• The Department of Petroleum Resources and Fire Service fees are low compared to the fees for a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant
• The set-up cost is low compared to a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid plant. For instance, if you are starting up with ten 50kg cylinders, you will need about ₦500,000 to commence on a sound footing.
• An LPG retail outlet that has at least ten 50kg cylinders will not be running out of stock. Whenever five 50kg cylinders have been exhausted, they can be taken to the LPG plant for a refill.
• The cost of operating a LPG retail outlet is relatively low. Retail outlets that employ manual dispensing of gas without a pump have no need for electricity or power generators. While LPG outlets with small pump usually require small power generators that consume little amounts of fuel, hence reducing the cost of operation.
• Relocating an LPG retail outlet from one location to another is easy and not expensive, as all one needs to do is to load all the cylinders, filling scale and accessories in a pick-up van.

LPG Retail Outlet (Using 50kg cylinders)- Disadvantages

• For LPG retailers using manual dispensing of gas, the process is slow. For retailers using pumps, the refilling process is actually faster but not as fast as in a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid plant that usually has a higher capacity LPG pump.
• The process of loading and off-loading 50kg cylinders to and from the gas plant is stressful.
• The process of refilling gas itself, which involves the turning of the supply 50kg cylinder upside down and the intermittent venting of vapor involves some stress.
• Some LPG users /customers have a bias against LPG retail outlets; with an erroneous belief that they usually under-dispense LPG.

2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant- Advantages

• The process of refilling gas is very fast.
• There’s little stress involved in the gas refilling process because the LPG pump does most of the work.
• The procurement of gas is hassle-free. LPG bobtails (supply trucks) bring the product directly to the 2.5 Ton LPG Skid location and dispense gas into the tank.
• Some LPG users/customers have a preference for LPG Plants (2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plants inclusive) as a result of their belief that accurate refilling of gas can only be guaranteed at LPG Plants.

2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant- Disadvantages

• The set up cost is high relative to an LPG retail outlet with the same storage capacity
• Set up cost of a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant equipped with a standard LPG Pump and Dispenser(civil Works inclusive) – ₦3,000,000
- Set-up cost of an LPG Retail outlet with a 2.5 Ton Storage capacity(fifty 50kg cylinders) – ₦1,800,000
• With the new DPR guideline, the space requirement of at least 11/2 plots for a LPG storage tank establishment is stringent and expensive to implement
• DPR, Fire Service, State Interim Permit, Police Permit and documents such as Environmental Impact Assessment and engineering drawings can gulp up to ₦1,500,000 and is therefore very high compared to the corresponding fees for an LPG retail outlet.
• A 2.5 Ton LPG Skid plant can easily run out of stock because LPG supply trucks sometimes take longer than the expected time to make their deliveries.
• Relocating a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid Plant from one location to the other is expensive and cumbersome
• Power generators which consume more fuel are used in a 2.5 Ton LPG Skid plant and the annual dues of government agencies/unions are higher, which makes the cost of operation higher than LPG retail outlets.

8 Powerful Tips to make your Cooking Gas Last Longer

• Arrange all your cooking utensils, aids and food stuffs close-by prior to the commencement of the cooking.
For instance, when you are cooking beans, blend the chili pepper paste you will use to complete the meal and make it available within the cooking area before you start cooking the beans. Immediately the meal becomes soft enough to your satisfaction, add the chili pepper paste to the beans at once. Don’t allow the pot to get cold before pouring in the chili pepper paste to avoid wasting energy (cooking gas)

• Turn down the flame immediately your meal starts to boil to avoid wasting energy(cooking gas)
• Make sure your pot is properly covered with its lid to avoid heat loss
• Ensure the surfaces of your burner and pot are very clean and free from food residues or particles
• Ascertain that there’s no leakage in your gas system
• Desist from adding too much water to the meal you are preparing
• If possible, avoid using pots that are too big and larger than the circumference of your burner
• Make use of pressure pots because it conserves energy (cooking gas) by reducing the amount of time required to prepare a meal using a conventional cooking pot

Final Warning to Users of 12.5kg Camp Gas Cylinder

Although I’m yet to set my blessed eyes on the updated list of the top 10 most horrific ways to kick the bucket, I have no atom of doubt in my mind that cooking directly on a fully filled 12.5kg camp gas cylinder, features prominently on the scary list.

The highly sagacious officials of the Standards Organization of Nigeria(SON), after deliberating extensively on the danger the inappropriate use of 12.5kg camp gas cylinder poses to the precious lives of the good people of Nigeria, made the right decision to outrightly prohibit it in the country.

Now, what constitutes the appropriate use of 12.5kg camp gas cylinder?

Fitting a gas regulator onto the valve of the cylinder and connecting it with an LPG hose or mild steel pipe to the gas cooker, is the appropriate use of 12.5kg camp gas cylinder.

Why is cooking directly on a fully filled 12.5kg camp gas cylinder very dangerous?

The 12.5kg camp gas cylinder is not equipped with a pressure relief valve, unlike a typical standard 12.5kg cylinder that is normally piped to the gas cooker.
What the pressure relief valve does is to relieve the pressure of gas in the cylinder when it approaches the cylinder’s maximum design pressure.
The implication of the absence of a pressure relief valve is that when the pressure of the gas inside the 12.5kg camp gas cylinder builds up beyond the maximum design pressure of the cylinder, it explodes.
At this juncture, it should be stated that an increase in the ambient temperature brought about by cooking directly on the filled 12.5kg camp gas causes a corresponding increase in the vapor pressure of the gas, which if sustained, eventually results in an explosion.
Another piece of relevant information is that the higher the quantity of gas in a cylinder, the higher the vapor pressure in that cylinder.
What this implies is that a 12.5kg camp gas cylinder filled with just 6kg of gas has a lower vapor pressure, and is consequently safer than a fully filled 12.5kg camp gas cylinder with a higher vapor pressure.
In addition, the likelihood of explosion rises exponentially in cases involving fake/substandard cylinders that have actual design pressures lower than their stated figures.

Conclusion

If you have decided to minimize to the barest minimum, your chances of ‘crossing over to the other side’ in explosive style, desist from cooking directly on a 12.5kg camp gas cylinder filled with LPG in excess of 7.5kg.

A word is enough for the cerebral.

3 Valid Reasons why your Cooking Gas does not Last Long

“Hey Gasman, the gas you people filled for me didn’t last at all. You people just filled nonsense for me. It seems you just pumped ordinary air into my cylinder. Gas refilling is a ‘dark’ and shady process that nobody except the gasman knows what’s happening! My 6kg gas refill normally lasts for two months, but the last one I refilled here lasted for just two weeks and three days. This is unacceptable, unimaginable, unpalatable, unbecoming, unbelievable, unsavory, unreasonable, uncomplimentary, unpatriotic…………………”

These kinds of statements and many more, made by dissatisfied LPG users who have automatically heaped the blame of their cooking gas that got exhausted before the expected time on their gasman/woman, have become the norm in the retail segment of the LPG industry in Nigeria.
While some unscrupulous LPG plants and retailers are particularly notorious for under-dispensing LPG to their customers, some other factors might be responsible for the fast depletion of your cooking gas.

Undetected Leakage in your Gas System

Since the odorant that makes one to perceive the smell of cooking gas(LPG) is not added to it in every production run, it’s very possible for gas to be escaping gradually from your cylinder’s valve and its perimeter, without you knowing.
Leaking can equally occur on the body of your cylinder at any of the welded areas.
Your gas regulator itself might have cracked, paving way for gas to escape; the same problem can occur on your gas hose, which might have cracked.

Gas(LPG) might also be escaping gradually from the loose or damaged clips fixed at the regulator and gas cooker ends.
The leakage of cooking gas from one or more of these areas will most definitely not make your gas for the expected time frame.
To ascertain leakage, apply soapy water on the mentioned areas. The formation of bubbles indicates leakage.

Composition of the LPG

LPG (Cooking Gas) is a mixture of propane and butane, which are ‘honorable’ members of the light hydrocarbon gases.
Propane has a major advantage over butane in that it produces more heat and is more efficient in combustion. What this implies is that the LPG of a production volume that has a higher percentage of propane will cook meals faster and last longer than the LPG of a production volume that has a lower percentage of propane.

It should be known that the ratio of propane-butane in the cooking gas(LPG) supplied to LPG depots and plants is not constant, but varies from time to time, according to the composition decided and produced at the LPG production plant.
In essence, the propane-butane ratio in the cooking gas (LPG) you purchase today will be different from the one you will buy at a later date.

Short-filling at the Gas Station

Some gas stations have manipulated their LPG dispensers to under-dispense to their unsuspecting customers. For instance, when 1kg is inputed into the dispenser, it actually dispenses 0.85kg. That means if 12.5kg is bought, what you will actually get is 10.65kg.
Some LPG retailers and stations using either scales or dispensers are also fond of confusing their unenlightened customers during the process of refilling their cylinders with the intention of short-changing them.
Apparently, a cooking gas cylinder that is not accurately filled will not last up to the expectation of the LPG user.

Factory-fitted Problems in the new Federal Government Marketer LPG (Cooking Gas) Cylinder Ownership Policy

Nothing can interrupt the elaborate jubilation and celebration that will erupt in the camps of marketers of alternative cooking fuels like charcoal, firewood and kerosene, if the Federal Government makes the awful mistake of implementing the new marketer cylinder ownership policy exactly the way it is presently structured.

It will be very unfortunate, in all honesty, for a government that has been severally commended- most deservedly, for its sublime interventions which have translated to the growth in the country’s LPG consumption from a paltry 50,000MT per annum in 2007 to an impressive 850,000MT per annum in 2019, to embark on a program that will easily abort its aspiration to increase the annul LPG consumption in Nigeria to 5,000,000MT by 2025.

The new policy which allows LPG users/consumers in Nigeria to pay only for the gas content of LPG cylinders exclusively owned by LPG Marketers, is fraught with some problems that threaten to erode the gains made in the LPG Industry from 2007 to date.

Heavy Burden on the back of the ‘carmel’ of LPG Retailers/Marketers

Under the new Micro Distribution Center dispensation, LPG Cylinders will be entirely owned by LPG retailers/marketers and not LPG users/consumers.

This means that an LPG retailer/marketer that has 300 customers (please note that most LPG users have two cylinders) will purchase at least 300 cylinders. At the rate of N10,000 per 12.5KG cylinder, the LPG retailer/marketer needs to cough out N3,000,000 to purchase the cylinders.

Even if the payment is in installments, where will a struggling LPG retailer get this huge sum of money from?

Another problem that will arise is that some LPG users will not return to the LPG retailer who initially loaned them their cylinder for subsequent cylinder exchange, citing reasons such as the gas didn’t last to their expectation.

Some LPG users will relocate without informing the LPG retailer, taking the retailers’ cylinder(s) along with them to their new location.

A few unscrupulous LPG users with dubious intentions will give out fake addresses to LPG retailers/marketers.

The factory-fitted challenges LPG retailers/marketers will have to contend with, are as follows:

• LPG Retailers/Marketers will have to verify the addresses of all their customers, which will consume a lot of time, energy and money and is a disincentive to the business

• LPG Retailers/Marketers will have to source for the money to replace the cylinders that are not returned by their customers

• LPG Retailers/Marketers will spend a lot of time, money, undergo stress and can even be attacked, while trying to retrieve their cylinders from recalcitrant customers

• LPG Retailers/Marketers will be responsible for the repairs and replacement of damaged cylinders

• LPG Retailers/Marketers will be responsible for the periodic re-certification of LPG Cylinders

Decrease in the overall LPG Consumption in the country

This may be unbelievable to the rich, which make up less than 5% of the Nigerian population: many owners of the 12.5KG capacity LPG cylinder can only afford to refill 1KG, 1.5KG and 2KG in their cylinders, most of the time.

Many owners of 3KG,5KG and 6KG cylinders refill as low as 0.25KG, 0.4KG and 0.8KG, due to the prevailing unfavorable economic situation in the country.

Since the 3KG LPG cylinder is the most commonly used in the country, this category of LPG users will be ‘stranded’ when they can’t afford to pay for 3KG of gas via the cylinder exchange program.
The only alternative left for them is to return to alternative sources of cooking fuel like kerosene, firewood and charcoal.

Now, if two million people refill 1KG of gas each, that translates to 2,000,000KG.
2,000,000KG of LPG is equal to 2000 Metric Tons.
The shortfall of 2000 Metric Tons is a huge loss to the government in revenue, to the environment via environmental pollution and degradation, and to the national economy.

Rise in the retail price of LPG (Cooking Gas)

The LPG Retailers/Marketers that have invested their money to purchase LPG cylinders to loan to their customers are expected to recoup their investment one way or the other.

The most attractive way is to recover it through the sale of LPG to the same customers; which will invariably lead to an increase in the retail price of the product.

Other associated costs such as the cost of replacing damaged valves etc. and the re-certification of LPG cylinders will have to be passed on to the LPG consumer.
The increase in the retail price of LPG will apparently undermine its competitiveness with other alternative cooking fuels.

FamilyFinal Warning To Users Of 12.5kg Camp Gas Cylinder by johnstin(op): 11:45am On Apr 04, 2020

You are absolutely correct. That's why the article ended with the important prayer.
When we do our part and back it up with prayer, coronavirus will not pounce on us.
HealthCoronavirus(covid-19) And Your Cooking Gas(lpg) Cylinder by johnstin(op): 4:21pm On Mar 27, 2020
The raging reign of terror of coronavirus, the new virus from Wuhan, China, indisputably now the incumbent Secretary-General of all viruses worldwide, has unfortunately extended to Nigeria, our beloved country.

While coronavirus(covid-19) isn’t the first dreaded virus to wreak untold havoc on humanity, its growing reputation as a ruthless virus that moves rapidly to ‘massacre’ the lungs of its host and break-neck speed of human-human transmission, is second to none.

Your cooking gas (LPG) cylinder can easily become the secondary source of transmission, if proper care and apposite precautionary actions, are not taken.
How can this happen?

An infected gas station attendant could cough or sneeze on or into their hand, leaving respiratory droplets jam-packed with the virus in their hand.
The gas station attendant then handles your cooking gas cylinder before and after refilling your cylinder with gas, depositing tiny fluids swarming with the coronavirus on your cylinder handle or frame.

Your physical contact with this LPG cylinder when carrying it will leave the coronavirus in your hand and it goes straight into your system if you make the fatal mistake of touching your hand to your mouth, nose and eyes.

To prevent this from happening, clean the handle/frame of your cooking gas cylinder with a good sanitizer when your gas station attendant drops it in your car or before you handle it after the process of refill. After handling it, endeavor to clean your hand with a good hand sanitizer. In case a hand sanitizer is unavailable, use a good antiseptic soap and water to clean the cylinder and your hands for at least 30 seconds.

Bonus

If you see anyone coughing at the gas station, don’t stay close to the person. This is in your best interest because coronavirus can be transmitted via respiratory vapor when an infected person sneezes or coughs into the air close to you.

Important Prayer

Coronavirus (Covid-19) will not locate, intercept or pounce on you in Jesus name.
Amen.

BusinessThe Coronavirus Of Fake/substandard LPG Cylinders And Appliances In Nigeria by johnstin(op): 8:17am On Mar 25, 2020
It’s now an open secret and very embarrassing situation for many respectable Nigerians, that the country has emerged as one of the favorite dumping grounds for manufacturers of fake and substandard goods.

It just appears that the importers of fake/substandard LPG Cylinders and other accessories are totally oblivious of the valid adage that says that the man who’s busy throwing stones recklessly in the market square should think twice and desist from the irresponsible act, because even members of his family can be fatally hit in the head, which may eventually force them to board the dreaded one-way flight out of planet earth.

The unpatriotic acts of these importers of fake and substandard LPG cylinders notwithstanding, the ghastly reputation of LPG as a highly flammable pressurized fluid should be sufficient to ginger all LPG users in Nigeria, who are unwilling to prematurely exit the land of the living in tragic fashion via LPG Cylinder explosion, to ensure that they only purchase certified, standard LPG cylinders at all times.

Substandard LPG Hose, Regulator and Valve

Hose

A new LPG Hose that is already showing visible signs of crack or one that cracks/ruptures within a few months of use is ‘gallantly’ substandard.

Regulator

Also, a brand new LPG regulator that still allows the flow of gas after it has been turned off is convincingly substandard. Soapy water can be used to check for leakage on the body of a regulator that has already been connected to a filled LPG cylinder and turned on. Bubbles observed on any part of the regulator indicate leakage, implying that the regulator has tough quality questions to answer.

Valve

A beautiful substandard LPG valve posing as an original valve can be easily exposed by dropping soapy water into the hollow top of a camping or standard valve. For Util, Nido and Cut valves, the soapy solution is applied in the valve outlet. Bubbling or foaming from the hollow top or outlet indicates leakage and this qualifies the valve to be designated as substandard.

Locally-made fake/substandard LPG Cylinders

The 3KG capacity cylinder is without doubt the most commonly produced fake /substandard cylinder. Identifying one is relatively easy, as the poor finishing job done on the cylinder usually gives it away. Unlike the imported ones, the shape is not perfectly cylindrical and the welding work on the cylinder is usually rough. An equally simple way to know a fake locally-made cylinder is its weight. An empty original cylinder weighs between 3.5-5.5kg, depending on its quality and designation; while an outrightly fake empty cylinder weighs between 2.5-2.9KG.
The higher thickness/quality of the sheet used in the fabrication, heat treatment done on the cylinder and top-class quality of welding, are the outstanding features(all lacking in fake cylinders) that make an original cylinder what it is.

Imported Substandard Cylinders

One needs more that a visual inspection to confirm if an imported cylinder is a substandard one because it usually looks aesthetically impressive.
Cylinder empty weight confirmation is one of the best ways to know the quality level of an imported cylinder.
Typically, a standard empty 3KG cylinder should weigh at least 3.5KG. Therefore an imported cylinder that weighs 3.0-3.1KG is substandard.
Leak test is another good way of ascertaining if an LPG cylinder is standard or substandard. Soapy water can be applied on all the welded joints, valve and valve perimeter of a new cylinder filled with air or gas. If bubbles are observed on any point or area, leakage is confirmed; leading to the inevitable conclusion that the cylinder is a substandard one.

Some higher level substandard LPG cylinders that ‘excel’ at this stage of pre-use scrutiny, usually get exposed within six months of use when the paint starts to peel off and serious corrosion of the cylinder sets in.

A standard cylinder will never undergo serious corrosion within two years of use.

Substandard LPG Cookers and Burners

Any glass Table-Top LPG cooker that shatters within two years of use is ‘excellently’ substandard.

A stainless Table-Top cooker that has an unusually light weight, can be said to be substandard. It’s very obvious that the sheet of such a cooker will cave in before long under the weight of cooking pots.

Brand new stainless/glass Table-top and Standing LPG cookers that produce yellow flame instead off the normal blue, are not of the highest quality, to put it mildly.
A new LPG Cooker that its spark ignition system packs up just after a few weeks of use is definitely substandard.

Any new camping burner that ‘dares’ to still release gas after its control has been locked is substandard. Also, a new brand new burner that leaks gas at the control or one that burns partially and not round about the cap, is substandard.

Closing Remarks

Since the mystery surrounding fake/substandard LPG Cylinders and appliances has been effectively unraveled, the wonderful people of Nigeria do not need to make the awful mistake of purchasing them again.

The Standard Organization of Nigeria(SON), in collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service, should do more to fight the coronavirus of fake/substandard LPG cylinders and accessories in Nigeria, to a standstill.

BusinessDPR’S Ongoing ‘Sliding Tackles’ Against Illegal LPG Plants In Nigeria by johnstin(op): 6:46pm On Mar 14, 2020
The good-intentioned latitude and calculated hesitation of the Department of Petroleum Resources, Nigeria’s foremost LPG Industry regulatory agency, to fully enforce its entire LPG guidelines and regulations in the retail segment of Nigeria’s LPG industry, appears to have finally exceeded its breaking point.

Without any molecule of doubt, the country’s cooking gas industry wouldn’t have enjoyed the robust growth it has enjoyed, if the DPR had dispatched its fresh-looking officials to every nook and cranny to enforce its strict regulations and guidelines in every LPG Plant, from the inception of the country’s LPG industry revolution in 2007.

Rather unfortunately, this rare privilege and goodwill has been grossly abused by some operators in the industry.
It’s now commonplace to see LPG Skid plants in densely populated areas like markets. Some investors have flung caution to the wind by citing LPG plants under high tension cables, beside power transformers, very close to welders’ workshops, bakeries, canteens, primary schools and other dangerous/inappropriate locations.

Outrightly outrageous practices such as the use of substandard LPG tanks and the refilling of LPG very close to the road where exhaust pipes of vehicles or motorcycles can ignite LPG vapor, has been the perilous order of the day.

It therefore came as no surprise to discerning Nigerians when DPR rose gallantly to the occasion to restore some sanity in the industry by shutting down LPG plants in unsafe locations.

Cooking gas plants that are convincingly guilty of infractions such as failure to obtain operating license, lack of safety facilities and violation of approved plant design, were sealed and sanctioned.

As laudable as DPR’s initiative to prioritize the safety of Nigerians by forestalling gas explosions at LPG plants is, there’s a need for its officials to soft-pedal where it’s possible and show more sympathy to the Nigerians who have invested millions of naira to set-up LPG refilling plants in the country.

The DPR Field Office in Osogbo, Osun State, has been exemplary and deserves nothing short of a standing ovation, even in the aftermath of its statewide clampdown that resulted in the sealing of almost thirty LPG plants.

Its officials were very patient and helpful in explaining to operators that once they satisfied the stipulated conditions, they will be allowed to operate. The LPG plants in inappropriate locations were encouraged to secure suitable locations, while adequate light was shed on the misconception that small LPG tanks (2.5-5 MT) had been prohibited.

They were very willing to answer questions posed to them, and this has really gone a long way to prepare operators for what they need to do to remain in the business.

If this compassionate, yet, stern approach, is adopted by the DPR in all the state field offices nationwide, then the country’s LPG industry future remains very resplendent.

BusinessRe: LPG Consumers In Nigeria Set To Say The Final Good-bye To LPG Scarcity And Unfav by johnstin(op): 11:11am On Mar 13, 2020
naijareferee:
I hope this move does not cause an increase in the retail price of lpg when he finally comes on stream...
No, it will rather reduce the retail price of LPG because the Plant will provide competition for NLNG- the only Nigeria based supplier and other foreign suppliers.
The competition will lead to lower ex-depot and retail prices.
BusinessLPG Consumers In Nigeria Set To Say The Final Good-bye To LPG Scarcity And Unfav by johnstin(op): 5:48pm On Mar 12, 2020
Millions of LPG consumers in Nigeria, including the fetuses currently residing in their mothers’ wombs, can confidently heave resounding sighs of relief immediately the LPG Processing Plant in the gargantuan Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Ibeju-lekki, eventually commences operation.

Contrary to the expectation of the wonderful people of Nigeria, just about 45% of the LPG consumed in the country is sourced from the Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Plant in Bonny Island, Rivers State.

This unpalatable situation forces outstanding LPG marketers like Ultimate Gas Ltd, Nipco Gas Ltd, Gasland Nig.Ltd, Banner Gas Ltd, Techno Oil Ltd, Chimons Gas Ltd, Matrix Energy Ltd and AA Rano Nig. Ltd, to come to the rescue by importing the 55% balance to effectively bridge the supply gap.

The glaring justification for the bubbling excitement over Dangote’s LPG Processing Plant’s potential impact on Nigeria’s LPG industry is the sheer size of its installed LPG storage capacity, made up of fifteen huge 75,000MT cylindrical tanks.

Nigeria’s stellar LPG Investors with depot storage facilities, namely, Nipco Gas-Lagos(10,000MT), Navgas-Lagos(11,000MT), PPMC-Lagos(8,000MT), Techno Oil-Lagos(12,000MT), Matric Energy- Warri(5000MT), Prudent Energy- Oghara(6000MT), Dozzy-Calabar(10,000MT) and Stockgap- Port-Harcourt(5,650MT), have a combined storage capacity of 67,650MT.

Certainly, one doesn’t need to be a graduate of the prestigious Harvard University or genius like Albert Einstein to safely arrive at the conclusion that Dangote’s refinery with a total installed capacity of 1,125,000MT(more than 16 times the country’s total depot storage capacity) will sufficiently meet the demand of LPG in Nigeria, which currently stands at an average figure of 80,000MT/month.

The rather notorious problem of LPG scarcity automatically rears its ugly head whenever there’s a disruption in the supply of LPG to the depots.
Disruption is majorly attributable to one or a combination of these scenarios: delays experienced by the LPG Vessel in loading the product at the source, piracy attacks in the pirate-infested gulf of guinea and delays in offloading the product at the destination due to jetty unavailability.

In the same vein, the landing cost of the product increases, no thanks to the fees paid for naval escort for its smooth voyage through dangerous waters, ransom paid to pirates for abducted crew members and demurrage incurred when the LPG Vessel is unable to discharge the product at the expected time.

Fortunately, the fifteen humongous LPG storage tanks with multiple loading gantries and state-of-the-art pumping infrastructure at the Dangote Refinery will make it possible for several vessels to load the product simultaneously in a timely manner.

LPG Vessels from within Lagos, Warri, Calabar and Port-Harcourt, have no need to transit through the pirate infested gulf of guinea route, drastically minimizing their chances of being attacked and lowering the landing cost of the product.

Particularly note-worthy is the short distance from Ibeju-lekki to Apapa where the major LPG depots in the country are located; which obviously comes with the dual advantage of reducing the landing cost of the product and ensuring better product order planning that ensures that LPG vessels sail in promptly only when the receiving jetty is available for LPG discharge.

In a nutshell, the good news is that the commencement of operations at the LPG Processing Plant of Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company, will usher in a period of constant availability of LPG at very favorable rates for the overall benefit of the good people of Nigeria.

Emergency ‘Sexual Lion’ State

1. Waking up early in the morning, the very first thought that comes to your mind is how to honour all your sexual appointments for the day, then you proceed to make elaborate plans for activities that will bring you sexual pleasure.

2. You are the type of man that can spend 95.5% of his income to impress and woo a new ‘catch’.

3. You have become a complete nuisance in your community and workplace having attempted, and always attempting to date all the single and married women there, you fit perfectly into this group.

4. You are a married man that is very notorious for cooking up fictitious engagements like seminars, religious programs, conferences and business meetings, just to secure the chance to travel out of town and lodge in hotels with your girlfriends to engage in sexual acrobatics, there’s no doubt that your case file is in this ward.

5. If you are among the men that are fond of boarding over-crowded mass transit buses (where most of the passengers remain standing for the duration of the journey) for no other reason than to have the special luck of meeting an attractive and physically endowed lady you can position yourself behind for illegal transmission of sexual current, you can be sure you are in this state. Worse still, you proceed to rub the lower part of your body against the lady’s backside as the bus moves, having an erection in the process and going further to release seminal fluid all over yourself, your case is an emergency within an emergency.

6. You marriage is less than two-weeks-old and you are already pestering your junior female co-worker for a relationship that will lead to sex.

7. It will be a major miracle if you manage to stay for forty-eight hours without having sex.

8. You are eyeing your best friend’s or elder brother’s wife and will not hesitate to have sexual relations with her if the opportunity presents itself.

9. It is practically impossible for you to steer clear of pornography for anything beyond forty-eight hours.

10. It is a must that you masturbate at least once every twelve hours.

11. You are a married man that has three girlfriends, with plans to have more.

Self-examination to determine the status of your ‘Sexual Lion’

The standard procedure when a certified medical doctor receives a new patient is to subject such a patient to a process of diagnosis to ascertain the cause(s) and current state of progression of the ailment before coming up with a treatment plan.

However, in the ‘sexual lion’ situation, you have a dual role to play as both the doctor and patient. This’s got to be so since you are the only one that has access to your mind.
The only exception to self-diagnostic examination of the ‘sexual lion’ state is for those men whose cases have degenerated to the critically critical phase; these men require external help, having completely succumbed to the rampaging wild ‘sexual lion’ within them.

You really need to sit down to examine and ask yourself some simple, yet powerful questions that will unravel your sexual appetite and status of your ‘sexual lion’.

Questions like:

1. What turns me on sexually?
2. How often do I feel in engaging in sexual activities?
3. How often do I think of engaging in sexual activities?
4. What are my sexual fantasies?
5. Once I’m sexually aroused, am I still in control of my senses?
6. What comes to my mind whenever I see a sexually attractive member of the opposite sex?
7. Have I ever overcome sexual temptation orchestrated by a member of the opposite sex?
8. What makes me vulnerable to sexual temptation?
9. Do I currently have the capacity to resist sexual lust and temptation?

The sincere answers you produce to these questions will shed sufficient light on your sexual appetite, as well as determine your placement in the classification of the ‘sexual lion’ phases.

The male ‘sexual lion’ status has been broken down into five phases: low, medium, high, emergency and critically critical phases.

Logically, it follows that the low ‘Sexual Lion’ phase is the safest, while the critically critical phase is the most perilous state.

Real life actions of the men in these five ‘sexual lion’ phases will come up next.

Stay tuned.
FamilyHave You Done Something About The 'sexual Lion' Within You? (For Men) by johnstin(op): 10:16pm On Sep 11, 2018
Have you ever taken a moment to reflect on the reason a well-respected and popular clergyman with a thriving ministry, blessed with a wife who is not only refined, educated, very beautiful but also extravagantly endowed in her physically appearance, would stoop low to engage in sexual acrobatics with the family’s fourteen-year-old maid, who only just arrived from a remote village, six months ago.

Have you ever wondered why some members of a dreaded gang of highway robbers on an operation, who are expected to be focused on their primary assignment of dispossessing travelers of their hard-earned money and valuables, will dedicate time (out of no time) to subject their female victims to violent sexual oppression at gunpoint, in spite of the apparent danger of being intercepted by highway anti-robbery patrol teams while committing the sexual atrocities.

Is it not unimaginable or worse still, abominable, for a father to sexually assault his own thirteen-year-old daughter; not once; not twice; but over a dozen times, till he eventually gets her pregnant!

These horrible scenarios that play out with increasing frequency in our societies today are the outcomes of the true expression of the nature of the wild ‘sexual lion’ calling the shots in the lives of the men committing these outrageous acts.
The undeniable truth is that every man has a ‘sexual lion’ within him.
Make no mistake, the ‘sexual lion’ is man’s most dangerous enemy within. And unfortunately, it is an enemy you can’t kill; the very best you can do is to tame it.

This desperately wicked enemy is always at work, plotting the graph of the downfall of its “host”.
Your refusal or failure to effectively tame this very stubborn enemy operating from within has devastating consequences: it either completely blocks your destiny from taking-off at all or forces it to crash-land in mid-air and suffer irreversible damage or total destruction.
Worse still, it will engineer your untimely departure from planet earth.

A quick example of how the ‘sexual lion’ can accomplish this is by encouraging its victim( an ordinary student in a higher institution) to make persistent advances at the ‘first-lady’ of the don of the leading secret cult group on campus. The don even decides to humble himself by setting up a meeting with this ordinary guy to warn him sternly to stop disturbing his girl. But this poor guy fails to heed the warning because the girl in question is “just too irresistibly beautiful” and he is in love, dreaming about her day and night.

Even if the don refuses to ‘delete’ this guy, his gang members will probably not require his permission to massacre this ordinary guy for having the effrontery to woo their boss’ lover.
Consequently, his inevitable brutal death is mission accomplished for the very wild ‘sexual lion’ operating from within him.

I think it should be very apparent at this point that taming/controlling your ‘sexual lion’ is one of the best decisions you can ever make as a man.

The right formular to tame this very dangerous ‘monster’ that has ruined and keeps ruining many lives has been meticulously prepared and will be dished out in installments as we proceed on this journey.

It is definitely in your best interest to stay on board.

I'm indeed very happy many Nigerians are investing in the LPG industry.

I want to urge all LPG Plant owners to take safety very seriously.

It gives me concern when I get to some plants and see the attendants over-filling cylinders.
For example, some fill as much as 60kg in 50kg cylinders, 7kg in 6kg cylinders, 6kg in 5kg cylinders etc.

This is a very dangerous practice that can lead to explosion. Some of these cylinders being over- filled are very old and worse still, the attendants don't even know the vapor pressure of the LPG they are selling.

I urge all Plant owners to endeavour to monitor these attendants/refillers as much as possible.

Our sweat and investments will not go up in flames in Jesus Name.
