I never thought I'd witness a day where an APC supporter will accuse another party or politician of telling lies. What an irony indeed😂 |
GeneralPula:I think you're seeing things through your mindset. A number of Obi's people don't actually hate Tinubu. They're just fed up with the current state of Nigeria and want something different from the normal status quo. That's what their principal Obi represents to them while Tinubu represents the nominal Nigerian status quo or even worse. |
Brendaniel:You've answered the question yourself. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" A number of Tinubu's supporters see Igbos as a threat hence, vilifying them as enemies. These lot don't see anything good in the Igbos and would support anything or anyone that is against the success of the Igbos. |
Darasinmi1:Hello everyone, please disregard this poster. He/she is working hand in hand with the scammer. What they do is to go from thread to thread the quoted scammer solicits for help using different monikers under the guise of someone in dire need and this poster then poses as an anonymous sympathetic nairalander who supports his cause. Do not be fooled! They are working together to scam you of your money. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. |
Diligent1:Hello Sir, please point out the Igbo that made this statement. While waiting on you, I'll point out the first man that made the statement and allow you to do your findings. The Irony is that the statement which has now been mischievously attributed to 'igbos in lagos' came from a Yoruba man, and not just any Yoruba man it was Sir Lateef Jakande, the former Lagos state Governor.

Sammyblacky87:Just take a look at the mindset of the youth. "The end justifies the means" they say. "It doesn't matter if 100 people around me die of hunger, subjugation and treachery, as long as I and my family benefit from the evil, we'll continue to support it" Unfortunately, I'm here to burst your bubble. The corrupt N100m contract you yearn for you won't get shi-shi, not even 5 million. The criminals you spur on will give these contracts to their children and other people of influence. Do you know what they reserve for the common man like you? 30k and 50k at most N90k they'd budget per person during the election season for ballot box snatching. The common man is just a willing tool they use to Carry out dirty assignments. Collect 50k and groan for the next 4 years. Suffering, Hunger and a dysfunctional economy knows no friend or foe, it knows no tribe nor political affiliation. Everyone suffers from it, regardless of social status. As young Nigerians would say; "Dey play" |
The intentions of the OP isn't very clear. The write-up was meaningful however, I'm 100% sure that this thread is going spill into another tribal war. There was no need stressing on the author's name and even the name has some big question marks. On a side note; No one bears "Anambra" as a surname given to him by his ancestors. If it was "Omambala" I'd have been less suspicious of the intent. But "Onyedikachi Anambra" surely looks like a cooked up name. Worse off, the OP had to halve his picture, I wondered to myself " what's the need for this?" in trying to establish authenticity I think he has made me doubt his motives more and more. |
CilicMarin:Lagos as Abuja and New York are metropolitan cities which always have diverse multicultural inhabitants. What makes the case of Lagos even more peculiar is that it has been a capital state for more than 70% of Nigeria's existence as a protectorate, thus it was built by the commonwealth of all Nigerians irrespective of tribal or religious affiliation. My state of Origin isn't Lagos, however I was born here and have always paid all my tax here from inception (which is currently more than enough to feed ten people 3 square meals of balanced diet for 31 days every month). I also know my boundaries, even though I was born here, this isn't my state of Origin and I respect and live in harmony with the indigenous people of the land. I have contributed to the growth of Lagos through my tax and I have also contributed immensely to the growth of my local community through csr projects and infrastructural development (which ought to be the government's job). Now, for a fellow non-indigen like me to wake up and threaten me to leave a metropolis in my country just because I don't buy into his political ideology is quite baffling and mind boggling. This kind of savage acts exist mildly in some other parts of Africa but the threshold to which it has gained relevance among a minority set in the south west of Nigeria is incredibly nauseating. I hope Nigeria and Nigerians purge themselves of the slow killing vices of tribalism and bigotry. No nation which picks up sides and fights against itself can ever stand. Nigeria has a bountiful load of talents leading and making giant strides all over the world except from Nigeria itself. May God deliver us and give us the strength to stand up to tyranny and agents of division and hatred, amen. |
Omoboricash:If you don't have anything to say please close your mouth, Obi's tenure as Anambra state governor ended in 2014, are you now saying that Anambrarians only started living in Lagos from 2014? Igbos especially anambrarians have been living in Lagos since time immemorial, they have been there before Tinubu's reign as governor, they have been there even before the civil war, before the creation of Nigeria they have been living there. It is too early to start spewing nonsense, kindly invest your energy into more lucrative tasks. |
Honestfrend stole the thunder ![]() It seems we have lots of investigators on nairaland |
BATified2023:Oga, I thank God that you actually admitted that his state is one of the most industrialized states. But what you failed to acknowledge is that a sizable chunk of those industries sprang up during his tenure due to his drive for the growth of SME's. Without him, there would have been no international breweries, innoson vehicles wouldn't have been in existence just to name a few. Oga, Peter Obi is actually an ambassador of buy the naira to grow the naira |
This is one of the things Peter Obi has always emphasized on, the importance of SME's to any nation's economy. That's why he directed most of his energy towards helping SME's thrive during his tenure as Anambra state governor. |
seeyounow:Nonsense!!! Blatant lies from the pit of hell Nigeria has 6 geographical zones (SS, SE, SW, NC,NE,NW) 1. There is nothing like west central, Midwest. 2. Kwara is a NC state not SW (as depicted in your map), the Urchins even took a portion of Niger state, and the whole of Kogi state and added it to SW and an imaginary West central (WC) respectively. 3. Lagos is not a geographical zone 4. SE/SS were intentionally merged together in your map 5. There are currently 9 Federal universities in the SW region of Nigeria and 6 in the SE region of nigeria Overall, the purpose of your map is riddled with deceitful intentions. I have been seeing lots of urchins on this platform, sharing this deceitful map on every topic. That's what they are known for, changing the narrative with lots of misinformation to suit their evil ideologies. Find below the authentic map of Nigeria showing its geographical regions and compare with the Urchins map of Nigeria

Ambode did an awesome Job. So sad he couldn't complete this project himself. |
Ambode started and almost completed this project. We need to give lots of accolades to that man, he had the best interests of lagosians in mind. |
Jcoleworld911:I put it there, it's number 2 on the list of Federal universities in the south east |
jahsharon:Another Urchin's lies and propaganda has been busted yet again. When they are caught, they resort to insults. Please give me factual proof and desist from meandering away from the topic. |
jahsharon:Kindly prove me if I'm wrong about King David Umahi university. I just need only one single proof. Is Kwara no longer a Yoruba state? It is a North Central state when it doesn't suit your narrative but it becomes a south western state when you want to spew propaganda. You even put it as a SW state on your manufactured map and came here to contradict your propaganda (see your deceitful map below and compare with actual map of Nigeria) Is there anything like west central, mid west, Lagos among the 6 geo-political zones of Nigeria?(SS,SE,SW,NC,NE,NW). You craftily joined SE and SS together while breaking SW down into three manufactured zones. Deceit, propaganda and all forms of evil are deeply embedded into the DNA of urchins. You had to twist the whole information there to suit your narrative, why wasn't Lagos included in SouthWest, abi Lagos is a geo-political zone on it's own. Stop telling lies!! All liars are offsprings of their father, the devil himself.
|
seeyounow:Since when did south-south become south east? Last I could recall, there are only 6 federal universities in south east while there are 9 federal universities in the south west. Stop this campaign of lies!!! Federal universities in Southwest 1. Federal University of Technology, Akure 2. Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State 3. Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife 4. Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta 5. University of Ibadan 6. University of Ilorin 7. Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun, Osun State 8. National Open University of Nigeria, Lagos 9. University of Lagos Federal universities in Southeast 1. Federal University of Technology, Owerri 2. Alex Ekwueme University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State 3. Michael Okpara University of Agricultural Umudike 4. Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka 5. University of Nigeria, Nsukka 6. King David Umahi University of Medical Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State |
butpro:Another angle to look at it, Are you sure it's the same man she's refering to? She had gotten married by September, today she said she caught her Boyfriend cheating on her with another lady by late October. Are you sure she hasn't been cheating on the said husband mentioned in this post with the boyfriend she dumped? |

Awesome article here, please more of this. God bless you. |
eazylion01:Lets talk, tell me the faults it has. |
What popularity is he talking about? If you know the amount of disdain the people of Anambra have for the APC and all it stands for you would know that the election was surely rigged massively for APC to even see more than 10,000 votes. We're not even talking about the fact that PDP voters were seriously disenfranchised by The APC federal might massively, through deployment of faulty card readers, burning of people's PVC at the inec office and in the containers conveying sensitive electoral materials, Massive votes cancellation e.t.c in a fair election there, PDP's votes would be waay more than a million slf. |
And i thought i would be FTc. Only for me to see about 22 comments within the space of 5 seconds |
booblacain:That should be able to give enough description, they also gave him a gen and a deep freezer alongside paying his store rent and stocking it with all varieties of their goods. I was there live as well, more pictures coming. Here's a video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUwqs8J6ntQ
