DoubleFingers:
N/B: This could be a bit lengthy, but please, read to the end.

I have been making preparations since late last year to settle down with my fiancee. I intend going to collect the marriage list this coming April to kick start the marriage processes.

My girl and I are very compatible in almost all ramifications you can think of. Honestly, she's the perfect definition of a supportive wife, well mannered and loyal to the core, just to say a few.

We now lived in different states, but we've known ourselves and have been seeing/dating each other in the same city between December 2016 and September 2019. I even made her to redeploy during her NYSC in 2018, to be close to me because of my intentions for her.

As usual, we've been praying and trying to seek the face of God to get divine revelation.
Dear Op, I have an advice for you, and I hope you follow it. Kindly call this prophetess, she'd guide you by the spirit of God. (Prophetic)

The Presidency has said that there was not a time when the current administration promised to make one naira become equivalent to one dollar.

Mr. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said the claims suggesting that President Muhammadu Buhari made such a promise, are false.

“It does not exist, it is fake, it is false, it is apocryphal, it doesn’t” Mr Adesina stated while appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

If they can’t/don’t/won’t do this needful work, is it okay to say that they are more foolish than the leaders who they call foolish huh
You're right. But only that poverty has eaten up the mind of the people to give up their integrity in exchange for bread. Hunger is a powerful weaponry to force an individual surrender his beliefs and embrace the proclamations of the oppressors. It can drive any to the camp of the oppressors for a willful surrender. Hunger is in the Land and they're not ready to do anything about it. Now Tinubu prioritizes increase in the cost of governance.

So. If the lost masses can retrace their steps and strengthen their integrity, then we can form against the follies leading us.

Governance is a devilish child's play in Nigeria. It is only in Nigeria the fools are given access to lead the wise. You tell me who's wise in the Nigerian government. Yet, they create a system in the name of powerful forces to silent the masses. Implement and sponsoring anti-people policies and the masses are not sensitive enough to respond to their maltreatment. Rather they are divided against themselves.

They'll keep being impoverished (masses) because they have refused to learn the follies are leading them and take drastic actions and determinations to flush them. Neglecting the condition of their corrupt system to admit No ELECTION can reposition this nation except the thorns are removed.

PoliticsTinubu: We Must Be Careful About Reducing Cost Of Governance by joinpreneur(op): 7:16am On Mar 28, 2021
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu on Saturday suggested that reducing the cost of governance is not a one-way street.

The former Lagos State Governor made the remark while speaking at the 11th Arewa House Annual Lecture in Kaduna state.

“Cost of governance is always a key factor in the socio-economic development of any nation,” Tinubu said.

“But it is also one side of that very important coin. We must not look at the cost alone, we must weigh the cost against the benefits derived therefrom.

“For example, one can pay a high cost on a productive enterprise but reap a higher benefit; such would be considered a good investment.

“However, one can pay a low cost but reap no benefit at all in the endeavour. We inherently say it is unproductive.

“Thus we must be careful in what we say and truly mean when we talk of cost of governance.”

Plateau State Governor and Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, Simon Lalong criticised the cost of governance in Nigeria, blaming the propensity of elected officials to employ an excess of aides.

“This high expenditure is attributed to the large number of cabinets maintained by these tiers of government, either to pacify political, religious and other interests, with their attendant high salaries, allowances, estacodes and the like,” Lalong said.

“Currently, at the national level, there are 28 ministries, 44 ministers and about 215 government department and agencies.

“In 2011, the presidential advisory committee led by General T.Y. Danjuma expressed concerns over the high cost of governance and advised that ‘government should begin the process of merging and reducing the federal ministries and other government agencies to help cut down on government’s unnecessary spending.'”

Meanwhile, Tinubu also shared his thoughts on how Nigeria can solve its unemployment problem.

“The development of any populous nation has always been dependent on the ability of government to allocate sufficient fund to projects and programs that create and encourage enduring growth and employment,” he said.

“We must reject that mode of thinking that assumes government expenditure is inherently unproductive as well as harmful to the overall economy.”

PoliticsBuhari: Restoration Of Lake Chad Will Help Curb Illegal Migration by joinpreneur(op): 5:44pm On Mar 27, 2021
President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday said the recharging of Lake Chad will help to reduce the irregular migration of youths striving to get into Europe through the Sahara Desert.

He made the remark while hosting the President of Chad, Marshal Idris Deby Itno, at the State House in Abuja.

According to the President, about 30 million people are adversely affected by a shrunken Lake Chad, which is now just about ten percent of its original size, a statement signed by spokesman Femi Adesina said.

“It is imperative that there be water transfer to the Lake Chad from the Congo Basin, so that the people can resume their normal lives,” President Buhari said, as quoted in Adesina’s statement.

He added that with inter-basin water transfer, farming, fishing, animal husbandry would resume, and curtail irregular migration of youths, who now dare the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea, to get into Europe, seeking greener pastures, the statement noted.

“I’ve been engaging with the relevant stakeholders in Africa and beyond, on why we need to recharge Lake Chad. Nigeria will benefit more, but it is also advantageous to everyone,’’ President Buhari added.

On the recharge of Lake Chad, Chadian President Itno counseled Buhari to consider convening an international summit to move the idea forward.

Meanwhile, Buhari appreciated Chad for its role in curbing insurgency in the region, particularly the Boko Haram challenge.

“We appreciate what you are doing on security,” the President said. “When I first came to office in 2015, I came to see you, as well as leaders of other neighbouring countries, because it makes sense to be in the good books of our neighbours.”

President Buhari wished Marshal Itno well in the general elections coming up in his country in April.

The Chadian leader thanked President Buhari for receiving him, saying, “We are neighbours facing similar challenges.”

He added that he was also around to explore other bilateral issues, in addition to security.

Fielding questions from state house correspondents on the position of Chad in advancing the functionality of the multinational joint task force formed to fight the insurgency in the Lake Chad region, President Itno said that the Boko Haram crisis will be definitively tackled, given new strategies that would be employed.

He further noted that tackling the insurgent group has been made difficult with operations carried out just once a year, but he is confident that with the change of security operatives both within Nigeria and the multinational joint task force, there is more hope for an end to the crisis.

PoliticsIgboho: Yoruba Trad Rulers, Politicians Against Oduduwa Rep To Be Sent On Exile by joinpreneur(op): 2:56pm On Mar 22, 2021
Sunday Ighoho's spokesman and radio presenter, Olayomi Koiki has said traditional rulers and politicians of Yoruba extraction who are against the agitation for Oduduwa Republic will go on exile.

He said further that there would be no retreat in the push for a sovereign nation for Yoruba people.

Koiki said this in a viral video on Saturday.

He, however, said that there were Yoruba chiefs in support of the agitation, saying those ones would be spared, as he berated many monarchs and political leaders for allegedly causing the impoverishment of the Yoruba people.

In the video he made in Yoruba, the media personality said those who cautioned on war should know that Nigeria was at war with the effrontery of the Fulani militias to attack the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom.

"Apart from those who spoke audibly well, but who did not, we will chase them away. Mark my face. My name is Olayomi Koiki. You older generation sent us the younger generation into slavery. But, we are informing you now that if you have what to use to protect yourself, please do because what we are telling you is not a little matter.

"You will go on exile because many of you have brought damage to the Yoruba people.

"You are saying we shouldn't start a war, you didn’t know that war had started in Nigeria since the inception of the country. You will be madly shocked when we unleash deadly agitators. You think we are joking but we are starting with you.

"Aside from the traditional leaders that have spoken audibly, tell the traditional rulers and politicians that we are not playing. My name is Olayomi Koiki. Mark my face. I'm a confirmed Ijebu-Ode indigene. I will contend with you thoroughly."

He expressed confidence that the people of the South-West will do well.

"You think we are joking. The southern governments have been given 30 days' ultimatum. But before and after that 30 days deadline, it will be fierce, except if the movement is false. But if we are supported by Olodumare, the Yoruba will separate from Nigeria.

"UK is just 67 million people and they are flourishing, and we that are more than 67 million people are suffering. And someone from his palace is telling us not to start war, war has begun in Nigeria.

"If you are saying there is no war in Nigeria, the Governor of Benue State was almost killed. And you are saying there's no war? You didn’t talk when Yoruba people were refugees in Benin Republic. You will see madness. Whatever you have, bring it out, and we will bring ours too. Yoruba nation, there is no going back. Have a very good evening."

Igboho's Aide Storms Lagos Streets, Canvasses For Creation Of Yoruba Nation

Olayomi Koiki, an aide to Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho), has stormed the Agege axis of Lagos State to canvass support for the movement for the establishment of the Yoruba nation.

On Sunday, Koiki shared a live Facebook video of himself at Agege where he was seen sensitising Nigerians to the impotance of having the Yoruba nation and why it should secede from the country, alleging the various inequalities in the system.

He said in the video: "According to the amalgamation of 1914, after 100 years, we can all go our separate ways, that 100 years has been completed since 2014, why are we still together? Check the N100 note, it is stated there that the amalgamation ends in 2014, it has been over 7 years we have been suffering now, no jobs, the government of this country do not favour us, they only favour themselves. Let us leave this country, forget about the N2, 000; N3, 000 or N10, 000 they give to you.

"We don’t have the money or rice to distribute to you but we are fighting for a better future for you. Except you are a politician, this country does not favour you. Let us join hands together to support the independence of the Yoruba nation.

"We have lots of mineral resources that we will utilise and live well. The Nigerian government has no reason whatsoever to say we should not leave but they are enjoying this Master-Slave relationship. Nigeria has refused to let us go simply because of the benefits derived from us, we have gold, oil, cement and every other thing.

"Yorubas are not being favoured, Yoruba nation now. They cannot kill us and kill our grave. The Yorubas are not enjoying this country, Igbos too, even the Hausas are crying, only Fulanis are enjoying everything."

The move has continued to elicit reactions with many sharing their views on the matter.

Osondu Moses wrote: "Oduduwa is rising, all hail Yoruba nation, oil and gas is here. Fadipe Ibukun Yoruba nation has been the way."

Sheyi Adesuyi also wrote: "God bless you Chief Sunday Igboho and Koiki, Agege needs to be supporting the Yoruba nation now.
Opeyemi Jamiu: thank you, bro, may God be with you and all Yoruba worldwide, we will do it little by little till we get there."

Also commenting, Gbadegbo Balogun wrote: "The Yoruba nation is non-negotiable."

Ayinla Gbems wrote: "Our future is bright, let us work together and make the Yoruba nation stand."

Similarly, Michael Onafowokan wrote: "Good job, I admire your courage. God will continue to protect you all."

Olaniyi Francis also wrote: "Divide Nigeria now, we don’t want Nigeria again."
