Nigerian ‘Prophet’ TB Joshua has predicted that there will be a new President in America as the US go into its presidential election on Tuesday.

Joshua shared the ‘prophetic revelation’ regarding the contentious elections scheduled for today, November 3, 2020.

Joshua suggested that President Trump had destroyed his opportunities to return to power with his mouth, adding that Christians would love him to win a second term but that God has another plan.

The cleric said he will reserve what he is seeing “Until the new President is inaugurated.”

“What is happening in the American election is as a result of the power in the tongue,” Joshua stated in his message posted on Facebook.

“The word we speak determines the life we enjoy. The tongue can either work for us or against us – death and life lie in the tongue.

“We Christians would have loved it [the election] to go the way we wanted. But the Bible says it is never proper to base our faith on our improvement after prayer.”

The prophet said, however, that believers “should not worry” but rather derive joy “that the new [US] Supreme Court Judge, Amy Coney Barrett, will be an instrument of check.”

“Let me reserve what I am seeing until the inauguration of the new president,” he parabolically concluded, leading to a flurry of comments from viewers as to the precise meaning of his prophetic words.

The US presidential election is set to be a closely fought encounter between the two major candidates – Republican incumbent President Donald Trump and Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden.

Now, I'm not ignorant about the fact that scattered across the nation Nigeria and by extension Africa continent are men of their pockets who use the name of Jesus as a fast channel for expansion monetarily. Recently, I discovered how helpless people are including myself when they have no clue about what exactly their reason on earth is. Whoever is clueless about the purpose of God for himself is liable to be defeated by the storm of life which are set as distractions.

I shared it few days ago in a comment on a post and now I felt making it separately would help more people. encountered a woman of God. I found this key and it blessed me in a no small way. Prophetic direction is real. I'd be selfish not to share it. She blessed me real good. I tell you again believe me, there are true prophets. Many of them are not on TV or media. The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Ondo election, Eyitayo Jegede, has filed a petition at the election tribunal to challenge the outcome of the poll.

In an interview on Friday, state Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kennedy Peretei said Jegede decided to challenge the results after studying the results. He said the PDP candidate discovered fraud and other electoral offences perpetuated by the APC during the election.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, as the winner of the election.

According to INEC, Akeredolu defeated Jegede and the candidates in the poll having scored the highest number of the total votes cast in the election.

LOOTING OUR HEROES PAST: Awolowo’s iconic glasses ‘stolen’ from statue

Seven days after Lagos government declared a curfew to curb the looting and destruction across the state, the glasses on Obafemi Awolowo’s statue in Ikeja are still missing.

Hoodlums had hijacked the #EndSARS protest in the state, unleashing violence on residents and destroying public and private properties.

Vehicles, automated teller machines, traffic lights were vandalised, and not even Awolowo’s statue was spared during the looting, as his pair of glasses are yet to be found.

Awolowo, the premier of the western region from 1954 to 1960, is known for his unique round-shaped glasses.

Akinwunmi Ambode, former governor of Lagos, in September 2017, unveiled the 20-feet statue located on Obafemi Awolowo Way close to the Lagos Television (LTV) junction in Ikeja.

Ambode had said the monument was erected to celebrate the legendary achievements and contributions of Awolowo to the development of the country.

Dino Melaye has taken to his Twitter handle to allege that some thugs have currently left the Kogi state government house in Lokoja, the state capital, and are on their way to his home to destroy it.

Our country is currently and regrettably undergoing an unprecedented pogrom. Particularly, the Tuesday Lekki genocide in which our treasured and defenceless youths were gruesomely murdered in their prime by the agents of darkness is disheartening and reprehensible. I condemn this ignoble and dastardly act. It is our prayer that the innocent blood would not be shed in vain. May the Lord comfort the families of the deceased and also heal our land, Nigeria. I send our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, relations, kith and kin and acquaintances of the deceased. May the Lord heal our broken hearts.

These are trying and difficult moments and we must remain strong in the Lord. While I appeal for calm, I urge us all to use this period to raise a lamentation for the land and ask the Lord to avenge the untimely deaths of these innocent souls. Let us also pray that the Lord in His infinite mercies will fix this country and make it a peaceable habitation and the pride of all nations. May the Lord keep us and our families.
