Cut off the sh*t bull, we can't run away from the fact that majority if not 80% of people that attend Pdp rally would still be the one to attend Apc rally. Moreso, they are only people that are jobless, u can call it high rate of unemployment. If those people have jobs, nobody will give a damn abt Pdp or Apc rally. SUMMARY: People that attend pdp rally are the same people wey go attend Apc rally. May God bless the next president of Nigeria.

Buhari and GEJ's perception towards corruption

Chief Bisi Onabanjo, Chief Bola Ige, Chief Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Sam Mbakwe, Chief Ambrose Alli, Chief Apa Aku, Chief Jim Mwobodo, Chief L Kayode Jakande, Chief Alex Ekwueme, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Umaru Dikko... Are list of few corrupt people that were arrested during Buhari's regime, some were even sentenced to death.

What did GEJ do about corruption?
He granted presidential pardon to corrupt officials such as; Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Gen. Oladipo Diya, Mr. Shettima Bulama, Maj.-Gen Abdulkareem Adisa.... To mention few corrupt people who got presidential pardon.

GEJ and Buhari are people of opposite characters, one supports corruption and the other doesn't.

From statements made by GEJ you can tell his stand;
"Stealing is not corruption"
"How much did JIM Nwobodo stole? Money that is not enough to buy a puegeot and Buhari jailed him".

Trillions has been declared missing under GEJ's government...

GEJ promised to use technology that doesn't exist to fight corruption
Buhari promised sentence then to jail, they will share the same prison with the common man on the streets

Nigerians, vote wisely

_Jayseehe
stupidity is when someone wants to use technology to fight corruption, I laughed the day I read the news.

Tinubu will not be allowed to rig again. The Nigerian Police do not take orders from the Governor
were you born in America or U.k? I don't know that people like you much rely on the faithfulness of the police in this country. The Police are the weakest link to breach in a political system. Elections can be smoothly rigged with and without the consent of the police. What have they been doing in the past elections that have held in this country. Please come back to Nigeria and see things with your naked eyes. I mean Naked eyes. Meanwhile, whether you like it or not, The probability of Pdp rulling lagos state is 40%. Prove me wrong.

Well, after reading all the replies which mostly came from igbo guys, i am still not convinced that there would be any change in pattern or system of winning lagos state.. Igbos are not the only one that will vote, Incubency power is a factor that will always put Apc ahead. The effects of losing lagos to pdp will be heavy on Apc than losing presidential election. Pdp will always try and try. But the funniest thing is that most of these igbos on nairaland do not voters card to achieve their wish in lagos. They would just sit down for one conner of thier room and be posting trashes.

Kenai:
This is a picture from an article in a London newspaper talking about how Muhammadu Buhari used his soldiers to brutalize traders and force them into lowering the prices of their commodities (even below cost price, resulting in massive losses) during his "Essential Commodities" misadventure.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B7l1aNGIAAAvJQW.jpg

So, now I get it. When Buhari was talking about "diversifying" our economy using the Army, Navy and Airforce, this is exactly what he was talking about - using the soldiers to brutalize citizens. This is what you get from a man with zero knowledge regarding Commerce and Economics. A man who knows nothing about demand-and-supply dynamics is too unintelligent to know that oil price is not "stabilized" using force.

I've said it and will say it again: Buhari is another NORTH KOREA waiting to happen.

End
op, did it happen during a democratic regime or military regime? These saTAN are dumber than i thought.

Dirty yolobaman with no sense of history, ACN a core omo ale yoloba-amala-ewedu party won a senate seat in Anambra with Ngige but in APC he was rejected, Ndigbo didn't reject APC because its a yoloba or an awusa party but because we saw thier Islamic disposition and violence orientation.
Lagos is a no man's land so nobody is magnanimous enough to accomodate one another.

APC is an Islamic party and we don't like the tribalism, ethnicism and religious bigotry, so mr amala and ewedu munching onye ofe pls go and give your islamic party a secular outlook let's kick out the PDP, my dad is a Buharist but am neither both because they are all failures.

So saying that Igbos hate APC because its a yoloba party is a very bIgGggggggggg lie, Ndigbo don't like APC inorder to keep Islamic infiltration of our land at bay.
God didn't give me the talent to be able to extrapolate poorly constructed sentences filled with insulting words. Your come-back is simply bereft of insight and logical reasoning. During the last gubernetorial election in Anambra state, starting from Amawbia to Eke Awka, go to Nibo e.t.c, people were say Apc is dominated and controlled by the yorubas. That should clip the wing of your ignorance. About lagos, it's quite unfortunate that you are yet to table any thesis as regards to why Lagos state in the western part of country, governed by a yoruba man and ruled by a yoruba king is a no man's land. Until then, I would keep my comment. Happy new week ahead brother

Learn how to summarize a passage before posting. First lady office has been extensively abused. The office is not meant to meddle in any political affairs let alone making some illogical decision as to who would rule a particular state. The first lady office must be neutral and be properly guided not to the chart of making imposition and stiring up dust in the political atmosphere. However,It's unreasonable to ground your claim based Magareth Thather, a woman who led by example and with integrity. Our first lady should take a look around the world and tell me when she has heard about Mrs Obama making a political decision or Mrs Putin meddling in a political system. This is insanity. Buhari's decision to shut down first has nothing to do with the empowerment of women in the country and doesn't stop women from participating in any political affairs wisely. The first lady office has lose its dignity due of someone clueless and ineptitude attitude.

I don't need to waste my time lunching inconsequential derogatory remarks against igbo. I don't know them too well but I know them for one thing and you guys can quote me anywhere. Greediness runs in their veins. Greediness is one thing you can't take away from igbo people. Here in Awka, Igbo people believe that APC is a yoruba party and it can't rule Anambra state, but the same greediness makes my igbo people to forget that APGA is an igbo party which can't see the day light in the west. Well I'm expecting many replies from the igbos to this vignette. Lagos state accommodates all other tribes in the whole Nigeria, and even outside world. But it remains an unimpeachable fact that LAGOS state belongs to the Yoruba. It's morally wrong to take someone's hospitality for granted. For the fact that you enjoy hospitality and accommodation from the yorubas doesn't mean that you should take them for granted but many igbo would term it as ''born to dominate''. It's far from domination but nearer to ignorance. Ojukwu did the same thing during the civil war by trying to direct war through the lagos's path and many igbos still uphold the belief that they were betrayed. Greediness is when you leave your property and cross many rivers, walk many miles to start fighting another man's property in another place. Let it be known to everybody that in as much as Apc is yoruba party in the East, then Apga is an igbo party in the west and no eastern can rule the west.

Yes brother and it would be a total act of ignorance to evaluate last year presidential's results with the upcoming presidential election, what Op stated can't work in the western states. The yorubas political structure is so independent and strong. These people don't vote based on any religiout or tribal line, if not Jonathan wouldn't have won 5 out of 6 states and that throws a question as to why the Yorubas ignored Tinubu who is a yoruba and Tunde Bakare.

PoliticsRe: PDP: 17 States, APC: 16 States, Swing: 4 States by Jokay07(m): 6:07pm On Jan 14, 2015
bodejohn:
This is just an academic exercise.

Going by the results of the last elections and current happenings in the country, I will attempt to analyze the upcoming presidential elections. This is not mere speculation as about 80% of my conclusion will based on empirical data which is the last presidential election.

I expect PDP to win comfortably (greater than 50%) in 17 states of Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo (Yes EDO), Enugu, Imo, Kogi, Ondo, Plateau, Rivers and Taraba. I gave Edo and Rivers to PDP despite having governors of the opposition because PDP had 85 and 98% of total votes cast there in the last election. I very much doubt that the clout of the governors can upturn this even as I believe that the APC might garner a better figure than the 2011 polls.

I expect APC to win comfortably (greater than 50%) in 16 states of Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kastina, Kebbi, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara. I am going to give Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states to APC because they happen to be the base of the old ACN party that has metamorphosed into the APC. There is however doubts in some quarters whether there will be elections in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states where insurgency is raging like wild fire.

The swing states is where the battle will be decided, these are
Ekiti – Very close results in the last election coupled with the new governor’s activities.
FCT – Close results and divided opinions
Kwara – Close results and decamping of the current governor to APC.
Nassarawa – Close past results and decamping of the sitting governor to APC.

I did not base my conclusion on any basis for the leading political parties, as it stands both parties have almost the same chance of winning the presidential polls…
Let the swing states decide…
the factors which you grounded your claims are off-putting and simply ineffective and it looks like you modified everything just to suit your the affections you have for a political party. Time has changed, we have experienced several inter party defections, re-elections have taken place with the likes of Ekiti and Osun with others even the number of Pvc collected is another important factor to consider. These and many more are factors to pull down the weight of the last general election's results. I'm not trying to be biased but even if pdp would win election, it won't be a land slide victory, the gap would be so little. Why? Beacause if the majority of S.S and S.E are going PDP, it doesn't mean that Apc won't get their own share. The Northerners are strongly behind APC and it doesn't mean that PDP won't get her own share. Now come to south west, it's mostly belongs to Apc. The advantage Apc has is that, the northern population is higher than the Eastern population so they are likely to get enough vote while the western population is a little bit higher than the Southern population[i may not be correct]. To me, the election is just like Hausa and yoruba against Igbos and Ijaws now judge it with the factors I stated above. Thats my own view

The reason gullible Nigerians should love and respect Goodluck Jonathan is the fact that he remains the only sitting big politician and president to allow his daughters to marry ordinary young men who doesn't have big family name or come from a top political family!

Even all Goodluck Jonathan's children school here in Nigeria but Buhari's kids school abroad, yet he claims he's broke...and deceive some gullible-Nigerian youths.

His daughters can NEVER date a non-muslim northern guy talkless of marrying a guy who isn't from a very popular political family and a core muslim jihadist!

So you jobless guys should go and sleep because that girl is the wife of one ex northern governor/minister or son to ex governor or top politician!

That's northern politicians for you- very selfish and mean set of people!!

You people should keep: chanting SAI Buhari...I wish he could win and I will come back here to ask u all- HOW FAR? Nansense people!!
so I should not vote fr Buhari becus her daughter dey school fr abroad and becus she cn never marry a common man or christian. Lwkmd
