Some gurls are very decisive. No be every ''' i'm feeling heat''' be ''let's do it'''. Just be wise, gurls themselves don't understand their feelings. They are the most confused creatures.
EducationRe: Who Is The Greatest Among These Two Proffessors Chinua Achebe N Wole Soyinka by Jokay07(m): 12:32pm On Dec 04, 2014
I like this post, simple, clear, wise and short. Send me ur acc number.
nobilis:
You can't really compare the two of them because they have little common grounds for comparison between them.

Chinua Achebe was a novelist to the core but writes poems once in a while. Wole Soyinka is an accomplished poet and playwright. But Achebe is a better storyteller than Soyinka.

One other thing is that Soyinka received a Nobel Prize in literature (the only Nigerian Nobel laureate) while Chinua Achebe didn't (even though he received and was nominated for various other awards)

Coming to global influence, Achebe is more widely known than Soyinka. Things Fall Apart is the most widely read African novel to date and has been translated into several languages. None of Soyinka's books has achieved such worldwide readership.

They are both great men. And have done Nigeria proud.

Better tell that man to park wella.
Blaming everything on someone or somebody..
Why do we not blame America for our inability to refine oil for ourselves since 1993.

When our president surrounds himself with known criminals, we should blame America?.

When the president chose to run his government along tribal lines, America picks the blame
When monies voted for security ends up in thieves of successive government’s pocket, to the extent that today, 9ja soldiers are now in dread of BH, we must blame America.

The state of Nigeria’s roads today was caused by America.
The fact that ruling party cannot produce regular light, 16years after must be blamed also on America?.

Even, if you can’t get food to eat in your house the blame is for America.
You people better wake up and face the realities of what you drive yourselves into.
A bad worker always blame his tools.
Lolz. Dnt mind the guy, yet they will be the one to start running after America visa lottery. America is busy dealing with her own internal bags of problems.

For Reason best Known to her and the Almight God, the United State of America is more than determined to see the complete failure of Nigeria and possibly the Balkanization of our country.

Some of the reasons we can safely deducted is as followed.

1- it is estimated that by the year 2050 , the Peoples Republic of Nigeria will be more Populace than the USA in terms of Population( which is a serious threat to the USA, hence an attempt to control Nigeria population by the use of Biological warfare( Ebola virus) which by the grace of God and the intelligent response of our home grown scientist we scaled through that Hurdle and even engage in helping other Little Brother Africa countries to respond to Ebola.

2- Nigeria recent emergency as the 1st Economic power house in Africa displacing South Africa did not go down well with the USA, hence her current resolution to wreck Nigeria economy which unfortunately is 98% dependable on the sell of crude oil.
As it stands today , if this falling oil prices continue for long Nigeria will even be handicapped by her inability to get the neccessary finances to wage the war against Boko Haram.
The current fall of global oil price is an economic war against Nigeria by the USA government.

Finally for reasons best know to her, the USA wants Boko Haram to triumph over Nigeria, the USA have a not impressive records of working and financing Islamic terror group. The same method was used to destroy The flourishing economy of Libya, it was use in Iraq under the false pretence and invasion, it was used in Aghanistan and currently Nigeria is the next victim.

The USA refusal to sell any modern weaponry to Nigeria under the pretence of Human right for Boko haramist who go around slaughtering thousands of our people and were never charged for war crime clearly shows
the fact that USA want Nigeria to collapse in 2015 and then re-emerge as small insignificant nations .

Nigeria maybe the only threat standing on the way of the freemansory government controlled state of the USA to establish a one world Government-

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Negotiates Cease-fire, Chibok Girls Release In S’arabia by Jokay07(m): 4:54pm On Oct 17, 2014
.
nass:
Islamist militant group Boko Haram is in talks with the federal government to release
more than 200 girls abducted six months ago and negotiate a cease-fire to a deadly
insurgency that has claimed thousands of lives.
An adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan and a man calling himself the secretary-
general of Boko Haram told VOA Thursday that discussions are under way in Saudi
Arabia, aided by high level officials from Chad and Cameroon.
Boko Haram’s Danladi Ahmadu, who is in Saudi Arabia, said the girls are “in good
condition and unharmed.”
Ahmadu would not elaborate on the conditions under which the girls would be freed.
Riyadh is not involved in the negotiations.
On April 14, dozens of Boko Haram fighters stormed a secondary school in the remote
northeastern village of Chibok, kidnapping around 270 girls. Fifty-seven managed to
escape.
Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau later threatened to sell the remainder as slave
brides, vowing they would not be released until militant prisoners were freed from
jail.
President Goodluck Jonathan has been criticized at home and abroad for his slow
response to the kidnapping and for the inability of Nigerian troops to quell the
violence by the militants, seen as the biggest security threat to Africa’s top economy
and leading energy producer.

PoliticsRe: Igbo And Yoruba Collaboration Can Change Nigeria, If They Bury The Hatchet. by Jokay07(m): 10:54pm On Oct 16, 2014
nzeBiddle:
"I don’t care what promises the Igbos make to the APC today, the great majority of them are going to vote for the PDP because they are scared of the Yorubas.
no they are scared of the Hausa. Hausa people are your real enemy and nt d yorubas. In my opinion, they want the Yorubas to experience the same genocide they have endured but the Yorubas are too smart for that. It is not going to happen"

When a full-grown man conveniently lumps a whole group into his stereotypical assertions, one begins to wonder...
If I'm not mistaken the primary aim of the article was to portray a prospective alliance between Igbos and yorubas as key to moving the nigerian space forward. Yet the author barely noted points on how this could be attained. Instead he allocates more than 70% of his write-up to history- primarily lacing the article with accusations and blame on the former group and its early post-independence leaders for the stagnant status-quo in today's nigeria. Making generalizations and almost entirely laying blames on a whole group via divisive statements such as the QUOTE MENTIONED ABOVE while on the other hand presenting APC as a viable alternative to the same group reeks of hypocrisy and instability (ie on the part of the author). Heck! how does Azikiwe's historical "political behavior" affect a full grown igbo man like me who has developed his own convictions/ political ideology over time? Ditto that of Odumegwu Ojukwu or whoever

Tbh Nigerian partisan politics is primarily a game of interests hence the frequent cross abi jump carpeting. No philosophy; No ideological base; No genuine plans; nothing. They may issue statements/attack each other on the media but backstage they are "paddies of life", wine & dine together; share contracts togerther; in fact marry each other irrespective of not just political differences but also tribal and religious. Thus it is laughable that the author goes on to present APC as an alternative at the end. Same party who just like the PDP clearly have no plans. PDP no doubt is mediocre but I'm disappointed each time APC reacts to national issues/PDP's failures ...criticism upon criticism, bad blood everywhr; NO SOLUTION ..they nevr do. So how do you convince folks who are neither PDP nor APC to buy into your beleifs? Fact is, as Femi Falana put it; "the difference btw the APC and the PDP is like the difference btw 6 and half a dozen". I look forward to a Nigeria where provision is made for INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES in the constitution. That is whr the solution to our problems -which PRIMARILY are the divisive kleptomaniancs (across all the tribes/religions) and not ethnic/religious distrust as the author has largely portrayed, start from.

Slaves rolling on the ground for their slavemasters since time immemorial!.

Who is still doubting the betrayal nature of Yorubas,in Southern Nigeria politics?.

When are these arsholes of a dark-brain,gonna be free from their taskmasters, even in thìs century, when slavery has been abolished?.

Permit me to have a soft sport for some sensible Yorubas, both here in Nairaland, and in real life!.
thanks and yes, I must commend on the efforts you have agglutinated to roll out those [probably] ''facts'' even though some might be unacceptable and won't go down well by some commoners/viewers. Nevertheless, labelling a tribe ''slave'' is totally uncalled-for and morally wrong based no the fact that they have rèfused to sip from the same cup of your self-deception ''view[s] which i strongly believe that it is totally off-the-wall. Shall we say that ''Mr Chukwu'' is slave because he didn't kowtow to ''Mr chika'' ideas? Pressing down to your so-called ''betrayal nature''. Well to me, I think that you have been fully engrossed in watching a mere shadow of what transpired before, during and after the civil war which makes it somewhat far from your prosencephalon to really 'have a handle of' what really showed up. Never make such mistake again in your life to label the yorubas as ''betrayal'' without asking what brought the eastern warlords to the western shore, [probably the western region has automatically or manually transmogrified into northern region]. Cut off the bullshit., the yorubas owe nobody ''apology'' rather you should be the one tendering an apology letter on behalf of your people and to the yorubas for ''getting off your track'' which made your warriors to stepped on the western soil when it's cut-and-dried even to the dumbest fellow as at then, that [''western pole'' is not ''northern pole'']. You don't need to spew invectives before you relay your far-fetched illusionary claim or belief to the people that the same yorubas massively voted for Jonathan and he won 5 out of 6 states in the south west and despite the fact that most states in the western hemisphere are being controlled by the opposition party. This simply implies that your so-called ''betrayals'' are independent in making decisions. Thanks and good bye
