We don't make most of the components for power generation here , and we need to get generation up to 88000 mw to have light 24/7. That won't come cheap.

Either we pay for power at market price, or we stop grumbling and accept our fate, or we take massive loans of 20 billion dollars yearly, and pay for it with our blood in the years to come.

It does not matter who is in charge, even if someone you like comes to power tomorrow, the fact will be the same. Everything needs to be paid for.

Electricty costs money. To expand electricity to every nook and crany of Nigeria would require investment of N14 TRILLION Naira at least, annually for at most ten years. No one is going to invest if they cannot get return on investment.

Better face reality. This has nothing to do with oppressing the poor, supporting or excusing any useless government past and present. Any business needs a profit to make money to make improvements and guarantee better service.

The problem is Nigerians are not ready to pay market price for power...so no revenue and poor investment results. The corruption and so forth are by products.

For the past weeks now, we can attest that Electricity supply has been erratic.

Band A users don't get the usual 20 hrs light again,band B sef, na 2 hrs per day .

What pains me is that we were told that the Band separation has improved the light situation, and APC agents were celebrating during the rainy and harmattan season.

Are we saying all the subsidies stopped from electricity, is not yet enough to improve on our power generation and maybe preventive maintenance of our power grid?

Please we can't continue like this. No light, Heat everywhere, everyday buying of fuel at 900 per litre.

APC ,how long do we suffer inside this heat, every year, every time?
