get an alto... Reason because
1) is moderately sound not to high not to low...
2)the moiuithpiece doesnt need much expectise to handle(that doesnt mean it doesnt @all)
3) is also averagely size: not too small and not too big to carry
4)the pitch is nt very high neither is it low is moderate and perfect fr a beginner.

I got some scales on the net but I don't know the proper application.
If you are a good blue music player please shed light on the approach to playing blue music on the alto sax.

u can't run a blue scale for every song... Bcs for u to improvise or play u must always be arnd d chord of d song.. However if you try otherwise esp bluescale ur horn will sound off which is frustrating @times.. But for jazz music bro bluescale is a thumps up, for example the hymn''PASS ME NOT OH GENTLE SAVIOR'' u can jazz if u ave a band... In such songs u see d beauty of d scale.... Morning. How was your night? The OAU Pre-degree program is an intensive educational program which prepares students for 100 level in any course of their choice in OAU. It usually lasts for about 8-9 months. There, students can only offer a combination of 4 subjects which is in line with the course they wish to study when they resume the following year in OAU (if they pass very well). Before a student can be admitted into the pre-degree program, he/she has to pass an entrance exam which usually comes up around October. It's a CBT exam which comprises 4 subjects based on a student's choice (Please click the link at the end of this post to know more about subject combinations). There are a total of 100 questions in all. Once you're able to beat the cut off point for your own subject combination, you will definitely be admitted. English language is compulsory for all subject combinations. I'll advise you aim at getting at least 60/100 just to be be sure of your admission. I think I have to stop here for now because this page isn't for pre-degree aspirants. I don't want to post "off topic". Well, at least we're all OAU aspirants, right?
