customizedme: Madam, first of all, when ur gynea is saying everything is normal and u know or feel there's something wrong,Biko what are u waiting for? U have enough money to waste for consultation abi? coz I know consultation isn't cheap. Please seek a second opinion.I don't know y some gyneas no dey proactive at all.fine,we know TTC can be unexplainable but they can try trace am . U said ur issue is chemical pregnancy(incomplete implantation)that's to say that you ovulate well, tubes are fine,DH sperm is superb so it has already been narrowed down. Causes of chemical pregnancies: Defected Eggs Inadequate uterine lining Low hormone levels (ruled out from the result) Luteal phase defect Infection
My two cents,Work on your eggs,do HVS test for infections and please, change your gynecologist. This journey is not easy but I know u will overcome. You nailed this infertility matter on the head. Many of these gynaecologists we go to are not proactive at all. All they want to do is prescribe clomid and tell one to wait. One of my previous gynaecologist kept counselling me and advising me to wait. |

Esthered: Good evening fruitful Mamas here. I've treated PID twice (once this year) and was just diagnosed again of the same PID. I've been married for 10 months now and no show. I was supposed to see a gynaecologist but it's not covered in my health plan with my employer being that I'm not pregnant so I suspended that till I'm buoyant. Being that I know I have this issue for years now as it started as far back as boarding school, do I just respect myself and plan for IVF than to do series of test and taking drugs? I intend doing the necessary test on paper but deep down I'm contemplating IVF or surrogacy. I need advise. Please help. I don't mind being recommended to a good hospital around Ikeja axis. PID does not equate infertility. You need to do some tests first, make sure it includes a pelvic exam and high vagina swab. The physical appearance of your cervix says a lot and matters in your fertility journey. |

cherishyy: Hi Mama, please what symptoms did you experience prior to doctor's discovery? My vagina was dry like the desert and I use to get yeast infections a whole lot. Even during intercourse, I tend to be dry. I started using goron tula to increase vagina fluid and it helped. It wasn't the symptoms that lead to the diagnosis or discovery. It was during hysteroscopy that it was discovered, the instruments were not entering and the cervix was closed. If you suspect you have it, tell your doctor/gynaecologist and request for a pelvic exam. They may argue at first but be firm and insistent. I was the one that decided that I need to do a hysteroscopy, my former gynaecologist didn't see a need and my husband agreed with him. I did my research and saved up for the procedure, now I am enjoying the decision. My gynaecologist told me that the "catheter stent" he inserted for me has ended infertility of 19 years for one of his patients. |

Meeenah: Take heart ma`am. TTC journey is not easy, the key word is to never lose hope. You can continue with the sereapetase. Do fertility massage with ijaw woman, believe me it works for some people. You can then go back to flushing. I believe with God all things are possible. Meanwhile work to improve your hubby sperm health while you are still on treatment. You never can tell anything can happen. It is well withyou my sister.
quote author=Cheerfulmum post=94689183]Sisters my heart is broken...... please encourage me. I don't know what else to do.
My doctor told me yesterday that my only option is now IVF. We don't have IVF money for now. Im having tubal infertility. My right tube is totally blocked no spillage at all and I don't know what is blocking it. My left tube is moderately blocked with hydrosalpinx and little spillage was seen.
I'm broken because I've taken serrapaptase for 3 months and even one cup each of Chinese teas and flushed. I also did castor massage. Yet tube is still blocked. I've never done surgery of any kind before. I remember I only had infection during my early years which may have been caused thr damage. My marriage is 3 years. Has anyone had this kind of condition and still got pregnant naturally? Pls help me. Try hysteroscopy if you can afford it, it will give a clearer view of the uterus and and other organs. |

OLESCO: good evening everyone..... I am new here, i took my time to go through several pages of this thread and I must confess that u guys are doing great. The thread have being very informative. A big thanks to the contributors God bless u all.
pls help out; its a bit lengthy I am 31yrs and I got married January this year as a result I relocate to Lagos to stay with hubby. Before the lockdown which started by March, We were using protection (condom) cos I "Hope" to get a job before getting pregnant.
As the pandemic progress hope of getting a job decreases. By April we agreed to have a baby and we noticed that often times when we have intimacy, sperm comes out from my body. We researched together with the aid of google with "there is no cause for alarm" it often happens to couples and does not necessarily decrease the chances of conceiving. pls how true is this cos i am yet to conceive even though we make out during my ovulation period. Though no pressure what so ever but each time I remember we will be traveling 2 village soon it makes me think.....
Note: before now i have a regular period and ovulate normal but of recent after period, i observed that few times I didn't see "the egg white" (the stretchy ovulation discharge) rather the normal white pap discharge.
And I have this discharge like "water" not milk coming out from my breast when squeezed. I was told 2 take bromergon by my sister cause she had similar experience according to her its High Prolactin ..... though hers brings out "milk" unlike mine that brings out "water".......... pls have anyone experience this? Your sister is probably right, but you should see a doctor for the water from the breast. Sperm coming out will not stop you from conceiving. |

emperorsversion: To show how "wise" you are.... why tell us here on nairaland.... why bring your personal issues to us here if you can't tell your husband... and trust me I am no psychologist.. you have already started comparing your ex to your husband and soon it will start manifesting....
I don't expect you to like what I say, I speak the harsh truth..
what is the way out: tell your husband and cut communication with your ex if it means changing your number... your actions should prove it not words or some posts here... Psychologists indeed. You analysed someone you have never met, based on one incident shared on nairaland. What do you know about my history aside from what I wrote here? What about my social and family experience? You simply don't know enough about me to come to that conclusion. There are still good people who are chaste and have firm control over their body and sexuality. |

have you told your husband about him trying to disturb you... hey girl, you are unconsciously baiting an idea to get back to him and trust me you will cheat on your husband... these are the little block that makes it happen What did you read here that indicated all these nonsense you wrote? Please, I don't need your advice on who to talk to. I'm not on a journey of self destruction. |

Ghosting someone is bad.
Very painful, someone did this to me after 3 years of dating, he said we were going to get married. From the beginning when he asked me out. He said he was looking for someone he could marry. People say I'm very pretty and respectful. My heart felt like it was going to burst in my chest. I was in a lot of pain, but I just held onto life and believed that everything will turn out fine. I kept on searching for what I did wrong to him. I never cheated or lied to him. I found out he married someone else. So, I tried to move on. I was no longer so trusting. First time my husband talked about marriage, I turned him down outrighly. Years later, I am married and he started messaging me. Says; he's just checking to see how I am doing. I believe in my heart that the reason he's keeping in touch is in case I ever have problems in my marriage, I will run into his arms. |

joliefille: Doctors please help me out. I am trying to conceive and my scan shows calcified endometritis, the fertility doctor prescribed antibiotics for it and I took it. About 4 months later I went for foliculometary and the endometritis was still there, I went to another doctor who did a curettage. Two months after the curettage, I went for a scan and it is still there. What else can be done? Is it that there is no cure for this condition?
I just started doing a fertility massage, but I don't know if it will work. I had hysteroscopy done and some bone-like materials were removed. Hopefully, I am free now. |
