Hello mamas. I just did hysteroscopy, and a lady told me now that based on her experience, she will advice i wait for 3 months before trying to conceive, because it can result to uterine adhesion.

I want to ask pls, is there any mama here that has done hysteroscopy too but has a different view? Pls eppp!

Our doctor didn't say to wait, but i also would like to hear from someone that has been in this boat.

Hi all.
I am a first time mum and about 9weeks 5days pregnant. I don’t know if this is normal but I am very sick. Stomach cramps vomiting and strong nausea. I am also very weak.

I spotted for about 3days and the Gynecologist prescribed progesterone tablets. I dunno but I feel it makes me feel worse

Is this how it feels or there’s something wrong with me. Ps I am the first child and the first pregnant person amongst my friends so I don’t really have anybody to ask.

Pregnancy affects people differently. I was very, very sick,dizzy and weak up till about my week 17. Don't discontinue your progesterone, it's very vital.

I don't really know much. However, while pregnant, I think one should try to rest, as much as you can. Avoid housechores, buy food, get someone to help with chores and sleep well.

Amen o. Make I rest. That pineapple no work at all. I even chewed the core. I have told the baby to do and come out make the both of us rest. I de feel tingling sensation for waist, hopefully that's the preamble, lol.

That pineapple thing is not true, it doesn't cause contractions or miscarriages. I have been eating pineapples since day one of my pregnancy and I have not noticed any negative effects. I eat as much as a quarter of a pineapple at a go.

I went for ANC today, I thought I would be given the second shot, but the doctor said that it will be given the next time I come for ANC.

Please ensure that your GF gets a thorough treatment. Let her do tests after the treatment. Just too avoid other future gynaecological problems.

folic acid is very important for pregnancy n d quantity in pregnatone might not be adequate enough.

It contains 400mcg which is the recommended dosage for pregnant women.

Don't take pregnatone ooo, take folic acid instead.

What's wrong with pregnatone? I checked it up, it contains folic acid and it's formulated for pregnant women.

So I went to the pharmacy today to get forlic acid, but the pharmacist prescribed PREGNATONE for me instead, she said it's better and it contains forlic acid too.
I just want to know if it's safe to start using it as am just 5weeks gone.

If it's multivitamin specifically formulated for pregnancy then you should be fine.
I was on folic and ferrous before conception, I was asked to switch to pregnacare from week 4.

3days ago l tested negative after a failed ivf cycle and just summoned the courage to speak out about it.
It's not easy, l don't break down with life issues but this broke me into pieces l cant lie.
This journey hmmmmm still the hardest thing l never wished for an enemy.
For now l will just try as much as possible to take my mind off anything around getting pregnant and focus on another thing entirely around self growth.
It is well. God will surely answer to our plea one day.

I had really wide hips that didn't march the rest of my body. My pregnancy now gave me big breast. Everybody is telling me sexy mummy, figure 8 mummy. Me I want my belly to be big and round so that anywhere I appear, people will know that God has taken away my shame after 5years of marriage and several agbo, injections, medical procedures and Plenty money spent.

She needs to see a gynaecologist, she might need progesterone support. If that's the case, the earlier you see a doctor, the better it is.
The size of your tummy and belly fat before pregnancy determines how soon your baby bumb will start to show.
The body of women with really wide hips tend to hide baby bump.

I read some where that drinking loads of water and eating fruits help.

Still here by God's grace. Pimples, pain on my back and lower left abdomen. Throwing up while brushing, excessive hunger and tiredness(laziness).

My chest, shoulders are horrible with pimples. I've always had acne in my pregnancies but this one is worse. Coupled with a big wide nose and swollen face.
Now imagine how I look
August is almost here, thank God.

I'm in the same boat, the pimples is really bad, I am so ashamed, I am thinking of stopping work because of it, meanwhile, I still have a long way to go. My belly doesn't look pregnant at all. Strangers freely walk up to me and ask me what is going on with my face. It's so embarrassing.

Good evening everybody, Kudos to all mothers and awaiting mothers in the house, I luckily stumbled upon this thread after reading all my search engine today, sorry I know this is a woman affair thread it’s just that my wife doesn’t used to nairaland that’s why am asking this question on her behalf coz we are worried.
it’s happens my wife is 52days pregnant, we went for doctor Apt last 2weeks which he recommend will do ultrasound, so we did it in same hospital, after the whole process the technician told us that we will have to come back in 2weeks time that the baby is still forming so he can picture it clearly so we left and the doctors recommend some drugs(folic acid, vitamin C etc). So last night she having a cramp just like her normal mensural cramps(Hold and relieve) immediately she went to showers so she can go to bed, she later call my attention that she spot some blood when she trying to cleanup, she was scared but I calm her down that nothing to worried about that tomorrow morning we definitely go and see a Doctor, so will eventually get to see doctor this morning and he told us to get an ultrasound test done but unfortunately they don’t work on Sunday so will are doing it tomorrow and the doctor also write a records for us to see a Gynecologist this week.
Before and after the doctor Apt she was doing good no cramps no blood until this evening the cramps started again and she see some little blood P.S she only see it when she’s trying to clean herself up after urinating.

Please Help, I’ve been trying calming her down

Gradually getting my groove back. Went for scan today, EDD according to scan is 29/10 . EDD according to LMP is 1/11.

I will like to go with team October.

During my first, LMP gave an EDD of 3rd Feb, I had my son 31st Jan. So I will go to team October

My EDD from LMP is actually 1/11/2021
But I registered myself here as team October.

Sorry mama. Keep observing yourself till the end of the week. Anything can happen in a few days. If it continues till next week, I will advice you try not to stress yourself in school and eat what will not increase the nausea feeling.

My MS has not left me yet o. In fact I feel so tired today, I am a teacher and I don't know how I am going to cope when I resume work next week.

I was told registration for ANC is from 12weeks.
