dypo: More quotes from GOT

“Summer will end soon enough, and childhood as well.”
"Every flight begins with a fall"
“I swear to you, sitting a throne is a thousand times harder than winning one.”
"So much for vows. Words are wind, and the wind escaping from his mouth is no different from the one escaping from his bottom"
"Fear cuts deeper than swords"
“A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.”
“In this world, only winter is certain”
“If I look back I am lost.”
with this kind of quotes, i am 100% right to have stopped wacthing GOT after episode 1

Obi1kenobi: You've got to laugh at these Spartacus fans. They obviously know little about what makes a great series. Some even think it shows class and maturity to follow Spartacus. That's a laughable claim considering Spartacus is the most juvenile, easiest, cheapest thrill to follow if you don't wanna engage your intellect watching more stimulating series like Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Homeland etc. There is a reason why Spartacus, in 4 years of production, has never won a single Emmy or Golden Globe award in any category of recognition - be it for acting, casting, direction, production, cinematography, script writing, costuming etc. Not even ONE single big award.

Go to the site for Metacritic - a review site that aggregates critical reviews and ratings from the elite media houses like Time, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Guardian, Telegraph etc - and see which respectable reviewers rate Spartacus highly. Go to IMDB's audience review site and see who rates Spartacus among the elite of tv series. Spartacus is a bottom feeder of a series. It's like watching WWE wrestling and comparing it to more credible, respected sports. Once again, if you think Spartacus is that amazing, why doesn't it get the respect and recognition of it's peers, reviewers and awarders in the industry?

Game of Thrones is a great series. Spartacus is just barely decent entertainment. They are not in the same class AT ALL.
you overquote yourselve. That isn't maturity either!

Harvard-Grad:
It amazes me how every i.diot I meet wants to be buried in Nigeria but don't want to live there. Nigeria is not a f*cking grave yard, and OUR corpses are of no use to the country.

I respect every man's right to live wherever he chooses, but please do not insult Nigerians by telling your children to take your corpse back to Nigeria. This has become a trend among Nigerians in the Diaspora
then ask your deluded brain why so many intellectuals run out of this country. You spilled words as you would spill feaces! Be wise and reason with mature mind!!

Politics / Re: FG Provides $100m For Exploration Of Oil In The North by Jomark(m): 11:04pm On Apr 02, 2013
PEN_MIGHT: No matter the hate towards the North and its proposed developmental strides, we cannot rule it out that the North just like the South still belongs to one Entity called Nigeria. Expolration of the oil in the North just like we already have in the south should gladen our heart as Nigerians not as tribalist.

They are mutually exclusive events; the successes of which will both benefit us all in the short and long run. I was happy Ghana found oil despite our seeming geograhical difference and age-long superiority tursle. The Boko Haram are our collective enemy just like all corrupt national lifes.

In the North, the food item found predominantly in the south like fresh corn now abounds everywhere. In Abuja as a case study, u get fresh corn everyday at the cheapest rate ever(4 matured corn for N150). This wasn't obtainable in d past. And I pray to live long enough to see groundnut, millet, kola, tomatoes, onions abundantly been produced in comercial volumns in the swampy terrain in the South south.

We can be successful and united together with or without the oil. The heaven is wide enough for us all to fly!
dream on mr unity! Tell your brothers to stop killing us for the sake of 72virgins
