In as much as we want the closure for the EH cadre, I GUESS it can only come after the GTs have resumed fully.

This recruitment is really enshrouded in mystery!
I just chatted with an MD of one of the SBUs who told me he doesn't know when it will end but it'll be concluded.
If an MD of one of the Refineries -as at today, does not know when they'll wrap up, can I conclude that influence in the process is very minimal?

I just hope it is concluded in the next 1week as it is being rumoured here o but,...

Meanwhile, I think Abia folks are receiving less than they deserve if the TF is by distance of CBT location from Abj.
How do Anambra and Imo get 18k while Abia gets 12k.
Apparently, NNPC got this one wrong.

PS: my CBT centre wasn't in Abia but I just had to notice that.

I was actually expecting 20k but when I saw the 12k alert, I was shocked but what else can we do?
It's unfortunate how the person in charge could make this kind of "gigantic" mistake!

Well, na APL sure pass: they can "play okoso" with TF but not with APL.

Thank God for this 1st notification as I await the 2nd notification which will be the offer!

I didn't get Tfare reimbursement nor APL in the 2012 recruitment but I have seen that affliction can never arise a 2nd time.

Waiting expectantly and I know with the wave of payment, APL's trumpet will sound soon.

I was interviewed on the 4th: yet to be paid and yet to see anyone interviewed same date that has been paid - though I don't know anyone interviewed on that day!

You want to bring the 2nd batch speculation in this thread like they had in DPR and NNPC 2012 recruitment

Though I may not have the info to totally discard his claims, I can believe the claim of still keeping tabs on some applicants to invite much later.
After the 2012 recruitment, I was invited by one of the subsidiaries (NNPC Retail) for interview. During the interview, I was informed that I would've been employed in the group's last recruitment but for Federal Character - since my state had exhausted the quota allocated for her. The interview was just to find out if I was still available and willing to work with them, which I replied in the affirmative. Ironically and mysteriously funny, I am yet to hear from them till date after close to 7yrs.

I believe everything works together for good and I'm also in the race this time- but now, I've gotten more experience and I'm going for one of the Experience Hire slots. I believe I'll hit the bull's eye this time- through the favour of God.


This is my week(strictly IMHO) of EXCITING NEWS!

40k received without APL in 2012 as a GT applicant. There has been none this time as an EH. To those that got the APL in 2012, if there is any on this forum, when did you receive your TF ?

I received neither the TF nor APL in 2012: I believe I'll receive both in 2019, by the GRACE of God.

The chances available in a state where there's this "host community factor" will be very few.
The host community slots and those to be taken are already concluded.
I just got reliably informed that my LGA alone-being host community, got 4 slots and their APL is ready awaiting dispatch once the process is concluded.
What that means is the remaining slots for the state will be for other LGAs.

By this time next week - all things being equal, everything would have been sealed.

My informant chose to remain anonymous on the 4 from my LGA: all he did was to mention the communities each of the 4 came from.

God help us all!

That was my case in the last recruitment (2012 or so).

Fast forward to 2019: all I lost in the previous recruitment 2012 will come back double!

I was scheduled for 12pm and had mine by 1:30pm.
Very friendly people: asked questions basically on my experience. They didn't introduce themselves neither did they ask me to introduce myself! They just looked at my CV and said let's proceed since I'm currently doing something similar to what I applied for. Also asked a safety/HSE question based on my job. I was also asked a question on international oil price.
At the end, I asked them my own questions too.
While wrapping up my question, I was given a bottle of water which I took along while leaving the room.

While signing out, you'll need to drop your bank details (GT is different from EH)

All you need is confidence!

I asked one of the panelist I met outside when this whole process will be concluded and he said by next month.

Congratulations to all those who will receive appointment letters.

I didn't receive my own stipend from the 2012 recruitment even after others were paid.
On the interview day, you'll fill a form that will have your bank details and you'll be credited after the interview (not immediately).

I wasn't taken in the 2012 recruitment based on federal character (since they had taken the allotted number from my state).
Now I have been invited based on my experience which is better than the GT i went for then.

You have to be one of them to speak for them.

If we have human sympathy at all and we all take time to study them, you will pray they are proscribed.

Just to share what I heard today to the few who are looking for information from anywhere:

* There were questions in every set that didn't have answers in the options provided & they were deliberate.
Negative marking was applied to such questions while those who skipped/let them blank had extra/bonus marks.

* Everything is concluded as per the test and those to be invited penciled already.

* Invitations for interview should be concluded - ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL, before end of next week.

* New employees will resume either in July or worst case August.

RECOMMENDATION:
√ Put your best effort in what you do currently
√ Do not allow the process to disturb you since those to be contacted have been confirmed: your worry won't change a thing.
√ It is not all that passed the test that will be invited for interview.

This question is actually funny, is it necessary one wears a suit for the interview, someone like me, I look awkward in it and I prefer wearing my native dress(a northerner).

I don't know if wearing a suit is compulsory but I know that during the interview of 2011 or thereabout, I saw many Northerners wearing native. Don't ask me if they got the job because I don't know: but I feel some of them got the job.

The confidence they exuded in the native made me believe something /someone was behind such confidence .
