To everyone ranting about this issue, let me say few things as one who is concerned. This recruitment started in 2013 with a widely publicized advert for academic & Non-academic Staff. It was to be a massive one based on the advert. After that, interview was conducted in the 2nd half of 2014 and the offer was given in April 2015. I may not know the remote or immediate cause of his action but coming up to spew trash about a recruitment that has lasted about 2years may not be wise. I was one of the Academic Staff employed and I had already told my employer I would resign my appointment and was to hand in my resignation letter in May but something just held me back from resigning my current job. Everything has been sealed: offer has been made, acceptance sent, biometrics done, Identity Cards collected and Salary account opening commenced. I had even met my H. O. D and together with new guys in the department awaiting instructions of what to do. I think with this background information, a number of us who want to be objective can comment now. |
quote author=zinachidi post=34110217] http://dailypost.ng/2015/05/26/34-year-old-shot-by-policeman-over-n2000/ [/quote I don't know why that picture was attached. Was it to make the offense more heinous or to give the NPF a "badder" name. Tell me how a man that was shot on the thigh and was taken to Baucus be seen on the ground dead and bleeding from the nose. Also, what has Okonjo Iweala's statement got to do with this? In summary, this is an "incredulously ludicrously ridiculous" write-up. |
hausawa1:On that allowances thing, I was thinking I was the only one not re-imbursed! Till now, I'm yet to get their promised allowance. Despite that, was invited, almost a year after my would have been set started work, for another interview where I was told it was just to confirm my availability for the job, since I was successful in the 1st interview but for the federal character thing. They didn't even bother paying the normal "subsidy" for my transport. Yet, no letter still- even after those we attended the 2nd interview with have started getting to 2years now. Still believing God for a placement there- I was sent the message again for the interview. No retreat, No surrender until my hands touch my appointment letter. |
It shouldn't have been an issue for her since she was so into you before she knew your age. Nevertheless, maybe she had for a long time fantasized and agreed/made up her mind on the age range of her husband. Anything out of that will cause serious cognitive dissonance for her. Personally, i had in mind of marrying a girl younger than me by at least five years. I met a lady i liked and was developing interest for marriage. The last hurdle was a way to know her age surreptitiously. I found a way to do it as i asked her when she finished secondary school, while we were talking of secondary school things. To my surprise, i found out she finished a year or two before me. Immediately, my interest waned since i knew i had fixed my mind on the age bracket of my wife and couldn't manage the dissonance that will come with marrying her. That's mine, people differ. That could be her reason. If that's her reason, forget her & march on to the next likely prospect. On my case PERSONALLY, i have gotten someone within the age range i want, i have done all required traditional and we will both say YES on the 11th of April- BY THE GRACE OF GOD. Best of luck bros! |

GANDALF1:which of the branches of Zenith Bank do you work? which of the departments are you? In terms of operation, all the banks are implicated. A branch might be very good while another branch of the same bank might be very poor in service delivery. I deal with @least 7 of these banks and I can say UNEQUIVOCALLY that in terms of service delivery, ACCESS BANK is far ahead of others. This is from all the banks I have been to! |

amibonaija: This movie was over hyped, I have to rush and see it at cinema Delux. But it didn't meet my expectation.Bros, na so! It is "half of a yellow sun" not the full "yellow sun". That's why you didn't get the full detail of the civil war. I got to the cinema and discovered that it was completely sold out so I couldn't see even the "rising of the sun". |

[quote author=fabby26]And after all these so called companies will put conditions for employment such as: minimum of 20years experience, you can imagine where a fresh graduate can obtain such number of years of experience. If one had gotten 20 years experience in companies outside the one listed, what will make you to leave all that to port to these washy washy companies. "crappy companies", "crappy conditions" & full of "bullshits": but You still want to work in them! |
oladamian: Over 10,000 employees were surveyed. wen First Bank alone has over 12,000 employees. should we just say the number of response gotten is not enough to determine the rankin. I'm sure the total number of employees of the 100 companies wll be over 250,000. so how can feedback from just 10,000 respondents be a yardstick? The list is crap abegI am glad You read it to spot how the conclusion was reached. Even though 10,000 Is not the appropriate sample size, appreciate the work. You must not accept it entirely, neither do i, but it Is a commendable job. You Can only castigate This work and mâke sensé ONLY WHEN You have taken YOUR OWN sample size, studied them and come up with your findings. Until then, ... |

I think she just wanted to add the tag of a married woman to her person. I can categorically tell you that, ab initio, she never determined to stay put in the marriage. If she knows what couples had passed through in their marriages, she wouldn't give those excuses of "irreconcilable differences"! |
