JW are peace loving people. Even if u like beat them, they'll never retaliate. i've seen people stabbing them, yet they'll come back to preach in dat house/area. U're stopping or beating them will not stop the work. the commission they get is from Jehovah and Jesus Christ. if it would hv bn possible by men to stop them, u wouldnt hv met them.

so i advice, dont let the bible's prophecy abt ur proposed conduct fulfill in ur life.

obadiah777: INCREASE FROM 7 TO 10

REVELATION 12 VS 3 [b] And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
<<<< SEVEN CROWNS

REVELATION 13 VS 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. <<<< TEN CROWNS

AND THIS IS THE SAME RED DRAGON. WHY DID THE NUMBER OF CROWNS ON IT INCREASE FROM 7 TO 10 ? IS THERE ANY SCHOLAR OUT HERE WHO IS STRONG ENOUGH TO LET ME KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED. OR IS IT A TYPO ?

Revelation 12:3, 4.
“And another sign was seen in heaven, and, look! a great fiery-colored dragon, with seven heads and ten horns and upon its heads seven diadems; and its tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and it hurled them down to the earth. And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth, that, when she did give birth, it might devour her child.”—
This dragon is Satan, “the original serpent.” (Revelation 12:9; Genesis 3:15) He is a ferocious destroyer—a seven-headed dragon, or devourer, that can completely swallow his prey. How strange he looks! Those seven heads and ten horns indicate that he is the architect of the political wild beast soon to be described in Revelation chapter 13. This beast also has seven heads and ten horns. Since Satan has a diadem on each head—seven in all—we can be sure that the world powers represented in that wild beast have been under his rulership. (John 16:11) The ten horns are a fitting symbol of the completeness of the power that he has exercised in this world

Rev 13:1 The wild beast has ten horns on its seven heads. Perhaps four heads had one horn each and three heads two horns each. Moreover, it had ten diadems on its horns. In the book of Daniel, fearsome beasts are described, and the numbering of their horns is to be interpreted literally. For example, the two horns on a ram represented a world empire made up of two partners, Media and Persia, while the four horns on a goat represented the four coexisting empires that grew out of Alexander the Great’s Greek empire. (Daniel 8:3, 8, 20-22) On the beast that John saw, however, the numbering of the ten horns appears to be symbolic. (Compare Daniel 7:24; Revelation 17:12.) They represent the completeness of sovereign states making up the entire political organization of Satan. All these horns are violent and aggressive, but as indicated by the seven heads, headship resides in only one world power at a time. Similarly, the ten diadems indicate that all sovereign states would exercise ruling power simultaneously with the dominant state, or world power, of that time.
Religion / Re: Why Are Jehovah Witnesses Not Celebrating Christmas And New Year? by jonesdollieho: 12:28pm On Jan 08, 2013
DANILSA: Why Do Some People Not Celebrate Christmas?

Around the world, nearly two billion people celebrate Christmas each December 25, while at least 200 million others celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ on January 7. However, there are also millions who choose not to celebrate Christmas at all. Why?

For one thing, they may belong to a religion that is not part of Christendom. They may be of the Jewish, Hindu, or Shinto faith, to name a few. Others, such as atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, or secular humanists, view the Christmas story as a myth.

Surprisingly, though, a sizable number of people who believe in Jesus reject the Yuletide traditions. Why? They point to at least four reasons.

First, they do not believe that Jesus was born in either December or January. The Bible does not give a specific date. It simply states: “There were also in that same country shepherds living out of doors and keeping watches in the night over their flocks. And suddenly Jehovah’s angel stood by them, and . . . the angel said to them: ‘. . . There was born to you today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’”—Luke 2:8-11.

Facts point to Jesus’ birth at approximately the beginning of October when shepherds with their flocks would still spend the night in the fields. The countryside around Bethlehem experiences the coldest weather during the months of December and January. Hence, to keep them warm at night, flocks are herded into protective shelters.

A second reason: The only event Jesus specifically instructed his followers to commemorate was his death, not his birth, and this was to be done as a simple communion meal. (Luke 22:19, 20) Note, too, that the Gospels of Mark and John are silent about Jesus’ birth.

The only event Jesus specifically instructed his followers to commemorate was his death, not his birth

A third reason: There is no historical evidence that the early Christians celebrated the birth of the Christ. But they did memorialize his death. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26) It was not until more than 300 years after Jesus’ birth that Christendom officially began to observe Christmas on December 25. Interestingly, in the mid-17th century, an act of parliament banned Christmas celebrations in England. In the United States, the Massachusetts General Court did the same. Why? The book The Battle for Christmas, says: “There is no biblical or historical reason to place the birth of Jesus on December 25.” It adds that to the Puritans, “Christmas was nothing but a pagan festival covered with a Christian veneer.”

That brings us to a fourth reason: The unsavory origin of the celebration itself. The roots of Christmas can be traced back to pagan Rome with its mixture of festivals for honoring the agricultural god Saturn and the sun god Sol Invictus, or Mithra. Anthropologists Christian Rätsch and Claudia Müller-Ebeling, coauthors of the book Pagan Christmas, write: “Like many pre-Christian customs and beliefs, the old feast commemorating the yearly return of the sun was rededicated to the birth of Christ.”

In view of the foregoing, can you see why true Christians do not celebrate Christmas?

bennyraz: what about the teachings that only 144,000 people will make it to heaven.

the bible teaches that some people will live on earth while some (just few) will go to heaven.
what will they be going to heaven to do? Not to sing and dance as some religions teaches but to do the following.

Heaven - read Rev. 5:9&10; Luke 12vs32
Earth - read Rev 7:9-17; John 10vs16

victorD3: Everybody has the right to practice his\her religion.

She refused blood because of her religion which is nothing to shout about. Do you know that medically there is no two thesame blood? after all our brother in the north kill other for religious sake.

If you get to know these people called Jehovah's witnesses you will have no choice than to love them.JW's all have forms filled out warning medical personnels not to administer blood on them so the husband suing the family will be waste of time.

this forms are filled individual and willingly. it is a biblical injuction not really a religious belief. the woman must have filled the DPA card and signed it consciously in case circumstances like this arise.

suing the family is a waste because NOBODY coarsed her into filling it. It's based on her biblical belief and conviction. MAY JEHOVAH WHOM SHE HAS OBEYED TILL DATE REMEMBER HER IN THE RESSURECTION TIME.

to the husband, i sympathise with you over the loss, but this means that you did not really understand ur wife and her belief. Pls, dont waste ur money and time, nothing will be achieved if u decide to sue. You cannot sue the bible.

There are three important things to note. DON'T OVER-PRAISE, OVER-PROVIDE AND OVER-PROTECT.

As a child, he talked to you about everything. As a teenager, he tells you nothing. When you try to converse, he either gives clipped responses or ignites an argument that turns your home ground into a battleground.

Be careful not to use “stuff” as a drug to cover over family issues that need to be addressed. “Throwing material goods at problems is a notoriously unsuccessful solution,” says the book The Price of Privilege. “Problems need to be addressed with thought, insight, and empathy, not shoes and purses.”
