Ahead of the presidential elections earlier this year, President Buhari tweeted in response to the biting fuel scarcity that plagued the later days of former President Jonathan’s government. The people loved the message. Many who were frustrated by that government felt it was time for CHANGE. Sai Baba!

The Naija FM comedy Jam, which was held over the weekend at the MUSON Center in Onikan was one colorful event filled with excitement and great music from start to finish.

Tragedy has this evening struck the Nigerian polity as Prince Abubakar Audu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate in Kogi State has been confirmed dead!,

Prince Audu who was leading the polls that had just been declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reportefly died in his home.

Family sources said he had a heart attack and collapsed earlier in the day due to exhaustion. He was immediately resuscitated.

He was advised by his Doctors after the incident to  shut down and get a much deserved rest-and he reportedly obeyed and went into his room as advised.

He reportedly went to sleep and never woke up again.And we gathered that efforts were even made to revive him and fly him to Abuja. He reportedly passed on at about noon.

Before the Kogi Gubernatorial election was declared inconclusive,  Prince Audu was leading the polls with victory in 16 Local Governments while Governor Idris Wada won in 6 Local Government Areas.

Babatunde Fashola always wanted to be a lawyer, but circumstances almost forced him to change his path in life.

But for his passion and resilience to go after his dream, the former governor of Lagos state, may today be a post-master.

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, said he was jobless for several months after graduating from the University of Benin (UNIBEN).

Upon the completion of his National Youth Service Corps mandatory one-year programme, Fashola’s father gave him the opportunity to work with the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).

Back then, a working opportunity at NIPOST was what every graduate wished for, but Fashola’s heart was in the courtroom.

He was passionate and determined to be a lawyer, that he turned down the offer to join NIPOST.

Fashola made this disclosure on Saturday, while speaking at a Young Business Leaders of Nigeria (YBLN)-organised programme for mentoring entrepreneurs.

“I had a different passion and that was being in the courtroom; I therefore had to go for my dream to find a job that would help my career. It took me a while before I could get a job and that meant I was jobless for several months after NYSC”.

“I am happy to see young people doing great things in their various areas of business. The better Nigeria, we hoped for begins with you.”

The Nigerian Army is hell-bent on putting a final
end to the Boko Haram terrorists and their
insurgency in Nigeria. To achieve this, the Army
has been up and about, discovering and
uncovering, foiling and thwarting all their plans.

Here are some of the recent victories that the
Nigerian Army has recorded that will make you proud.

1. A fuel dump

The illegal fuel depot was used to stockpile
petroleum, oil and lubricants by Boko Haram
terrorists.

2. A rocket-making factory

Where the rockets were found, some of the
terrorists were also found and arrested.

3. Boko Haram weapons

The Nigerian Army has discovered and removed
IED and mines planted by the terrorists.

4. Their hideouts

Several of their hideouts have been uncovered by
the Army. And where ever are found, their
weapons too are captured.

5. Their vehicles

This is one of the many that was captured and set
ablaze by the Nigerian Army.

6. Many of the terrorists have recently been arrested.
It’s a long list of terrorists but capturing them all
is doable.

7. Even their “kitchen”

Yes! They have been literally caught with their
hands in the cooking jar!

Governors Fayose and Mimiko and other PDP leaders were on Monday pictured at a Mega PDP Rally held in Lokoja to charge the people of Kogi State to Vote Capt. Idris Ichalla Wada in the forthcoming governorship election slated on Saturday 21st of November 2015.

The Riemann Zeta Hypothesis is one of the seven Millennium problems set forth by the Clay Mathematics Institute with a million Dollar reward for each solved problem for the past 16 years.
