Both lion King and Black Panther took up alot from Africa.Most of the names of the characters are from Kiswahili like Simba,rafiki and pumba.The background location of the film is set from the Hells gate national park in Kenya even though some images also showed places what looked like Maasai Mara and Amboseli national park which are both from Kenya as well. It's Setswana/ Sesotho. I think we were all shocked that it's also used elsewhere . I grew up thinking the Lion king was a South African production , probably because of many of the songs and voices behind the animals. I'm sure some teenagers somewhere in Cape town are of the impression that Wakanda is a South African movie because the main language used throughout the movie is xhosa , many of the actors are South African and much of the music as well.

Kq and SA airline staff would normaly want to match salaries of other big world airlines. In Ethiopia airlines,it must be a risky move for the workers to even attempt a strike let alone do one demanding for a higher pay. With it being fully owned by the govt,I can tell you that it's the government that dictates everything.It's an iron fist type of rule at Ethiopia airlines that can never be replicated in Kenya! Can their workers even freely sue the government there? We can't just copy how they do things,let Tanzania copy their model.

I am so proud of Tanzanians and how much they have managed to promote Swahili language through their music across the continent. If Kenyans were like Tanzanians, Swahili language should have been dominating most of Africa by now.

The 3.6 million dollars used in deporting such crooks in 2017 should have been disbursed to the needy and the elderly as their monthly upkeep.

We cannot phase out thermal power at a go,it would be done in segments.The geothermal potential is at about 10,000 Mw. We are yet to exhaust this. The plan is to shut majority of the old thermal power plants like the one at Kipevu,the recent ones like Rabai Power (90MW) will still be running. Power from renewable sources is cheaper and cleaner,this is what the government and Kengen is targeting.And as you know,cheaper power is a key enabler to our industrialization .
