We use them as a back up when the power is cut off, this would normally be for a few minutes! When KPLC wants to cut off power by some few hours, they would usually announce such a move to the public because it's not normal for us. In Nigeria, generators are the mainstay sources of electricity because the blackouts are so frequent!

The Nairobi-Naivasha section which will involve the building of an Inland Container Depot in Naivasha and an Industrial Park in Naivasha!

The section is raised to ensure free passage of wildlife in the Nairobi national park! Sound absorbing technology will also be placed along this section so as to mitigate noise pollution in the park!

The cut out section of the SGR in picture three is 5 storeys deep!
