The original 3b post is right. The issue is that warri refinery support staff are upset because most of them do not meet the qualifications and its they threatened industrial action. meetings have been held to try and wade in on this matter.
In addition, the alert and APL matter are not related at all. The way NNPC works is claims are put in and paid at different times depending on the signatories available and funding. So there is no set formula on how you will be paid except through the way it is batched via SAP

How about other refineries support staff??

i got some info from someone privy to insider info from the management. It’s not verified but most likely true. I won’t go into too much details lest I get lynched by keyboard warriors.

1. Process was in the hand of a female GGM. The process was finished without external influence but then the new management had issues with the selection as some zones had more successful candidates than others.

2. GGM was asked to review to ensure a more balanced selection.

3. With new management, interests seem to be mounting pressure. Also, new members of the house want slots for their constituents. Support workers from refineries are threatening strike action because they want to be converted to permanent staff before any new recruits would come in.

4. All these have caused delay in the release of the APL’s

Yes Sir, I did apply for the DPR 2016. No Sir, I didn’t get the job. I really can’t say why but I believe the recruitment was a tad transparent, even though it had hiccups at the end. I had colleagues whom I believe got it on merit. Some others went through the window. Others were rumored to have even bought it, sadly.

I have it on good authority that NNPC is trying to avoid the hullabaloo of DPR 2016.

Your answer should have started with a " yes" or a " no" like jobseekar did, but you didn't do that. Don't be quick to reply people. Learn to understand the motive behind their statement and actions before you dive into conclusions.

This is the reason I tried to "rephrase" your question in my response. The moment you mention "paid" along with interview success/failure, some people will want to be defensive.
Rather jut let your question be "neutral" so that some will not think you are advocating for any theory.

I once posted things about AB theory, and I was trying to push my conclusion towards "reverse AB theory" but one guy quickly attacked me that I'm trying to instill fears to those that have been paid.

YES, if the scores are stored in a general database, immediately after each interviewee has done his/her interview. Then they do the ranking of everybody on 11th, and start sorting people out immediately after that.

NO, if the interviewers had to submit the scores of interviewees at a collection point, with all the panel leaders present and deliberate on who to pick and not to pick.
