You can't say the amphitheater is filled by half each and every time of each 4 sessions per day. I doubt if that's a good estimate.


However, what do you stand to gain by believing that the actual interviewees were not up to 9k? perhaps you should explain better so I'll know where you're coming from.

During my session one of the official talking to us categorically said something along "the competition is like 1 against 9 applicants or 1 in a group of 9 applicants"

Besides, the interview lasted "officially" for 9 days and my panel on the day I was interviewed, had only 3 time sets.

Sometimes it baffles me how you guys got to the conclusion that 9k applicants were invited for the interview. Where did you all get that from?
Is it from the interview numbers that weren't even used for the interview?
What if the numbers were slated at random, not one after the other?
What if they did that to create an impression just to make you double your efforts for the interview, seeing how competitive it would be?
You'll all be shocked that it wasn't even up to 5k applicants that were invited for the interview.
I say this because the capacity of that amphitheater I took time to assess, isn't up to 400 seats. The pictures were here, you can calculate from the arrangements. I did that while I was there and it gave me roughly 290 or thereabout.
Besides, on the day I was interviewed, only one side of the Amphitheater was occupied by GTs and it wasn't even filled up for the 9am set, while just the front row seats opposite us (which was like half of the amphitheater) were occupied by EHs.
So assuming we had 4 time sets, how then did they total up to 1k?
Even the panel numbers didn't follow serially from 1 to 39, at least for the while I was there (I challenge anyone to prove otherwise).
So I'm surprised how you guys will come here to mention 9k interviewees without taking into consideration those who couldn't make it to the interview or were disqualified at the documents verification stage.

See, there's a lot to this recruitment that meets the eyes.
You guys should just take a chill pill or get busy while we watch out how this unfolds.

1. I never made mentioned anywhere that i was being employed by Prisons service
2. Prisons service and Fire service came out almost the same time and i applied.
3. I was on both thread and it was fun
4. I got shortlisted by Fire service and i have my employment letter with me currently dated December 28th 2018 though we were given first of July and we are done with IPPIS
6. i never made prisons list. You can't be employed twice by the same board
7. I'm on prisons thread to give guys updates out of FFS experience because we are in the same boars. Either they like it or not those board people are still incharge
8. I'm currently jobless because I've nothing doing at the moment. Our Juniors are in d camp and we wont enter camp not until the pass out that's why you see me on every thread

Truthfully, he was d first person on this thread that gave me an impression that scam is taking over the thread...am not attacking him but trust must be told..

The guy posted here sometimes ago, that prompted me to check his profile. Going thru his posts I discovered he has been hyper-active in many job threads like ndlea, customs, prison service and other govt parastatals....then I patiently read through all his posts on prison service thread, it wasn't far enough I realised how he claimed he's already employed by prison service, infact, he was the 'guiding light' in d thread...then I asked myself "whats the guy still doing in NNPC thread?" Well, it may be that he's looking for greener pastrure... Checking further his posts, I also discovered how recently he has been involved in other thread as an applicant...and in almost all the threads he shows how connected he is..... "Something is fishy"


We just need to be extra careful and most of all, do a thorough research on anyone u want to trust/follow for any purpose here...go through their posts with a sensitive mind, u will discover them.

Apologies for my silence here despite the many mentions.

I have mentioned earlier that I don't go looking for information. I still won't.

No one here can come out and state categorically when anything will happen concerning APL or TF. And that's cos the actual actions taken on those lie in the hands of only a few people and those people won't even say.

Every info I have shared here is based on what I was told. Because this thread was created to enable applicants and hopefuls share info that give one or two pointers to events as they happen, I decided to give the ones I heard. If you want to use that as your integrity meter, then it's absolutely your choice.

One truth however is there's nothing anyone says that that is cast in stone as long as you're not the GMD of NNPC or the Chair of this recruitment campaign.
