Where to find it (DIY):
You don't need a mechanic for this.
1. Open your hood.
2. Locate a black plastic housing/box usually located to the left or right of the engine.
3. Snap off the metal clips (or unscrew it).
4. Lift the filter out. If it’s filled with sand or is dark gray/black, it’s dead. Replace it with a genuine OEM part immediately.
