Have you ever seen a headline of a newspaper or news website?

How do they catch your attention?

2.Lead

This is the part where you build the interest of the customers

You let them get a sneak view of what you are giving to them

You let them visualize how you want to help them

How their life will be better

How you have helped others to achieve something you are giving me them

3.Background story

This is where you come up with a story about yourself,

How do you fund the solution you are offering them

How did you also suffer or what you went through before coming up with the solution…

Your challenges

And also some social proof from notable persons in the industry or the testimonials from your customers…

That is how you come up with a story but the story must be true….


4.Unique Mechanism of Problem

This is the reason why your prospects are having the problem they are having…

And the reason why it isn't being solved

If you are selling weight loss products you have to tell them

Why are they gaining weight due to some specific reason…

And explain to them in a way they will understand…

5.Unique Mechanism of Solution

This is where you explain why your product will solve the problem for them…

And it must be correlated with what you explain in the UMP above…

6.Reveal Your products

This is where you reveal your product and explain every detail of it without hiding anything from them…

And give them proof that what you are selling will work

And how it will help them with the unique mechanism of problems.

7.CTA

Call to Action:this is where you ask them to take action to buy your product


Don't force them to do it

Compel in a way they will understand and take action

Now you have written your sales letter now

There are other two things


Close: You must close the sales letter by recapping all the products and their Bonus

If possible you can explain its benefits in different scenarios that will entice the prospects.

FAQS: Frequently Asked Questions

This is where you answer all the possible questions your prospects may have in their minds.

Answer them in a way they will understand.

1. You are selling to the wrong people:

When I see many people complaining that their marketing isn't working what I tell asked them

Who are they selling to?

Sometimes people are just selling to the wrong person who doesn't need the products or services

So no matter how hard you try you won't make a sale.

Imagine you are selling a diaper to grandma… to do what, please?

That is why many are wasting huge amounts of money on marketing that is not working.

Another misconception is when business owners believe they can sell to everyone…

Is that possible?

It isn't and if you try it…

You will be wasting a lot of money on marketing.

If you want to sell anything…

Ask yourself if you are selling to the right person.

You can't sell car gasoline to someone who is using a bicycle…

One thing you are supposed to ask yourself is, do people want this product or service?

Do they desire it?

If your answer is No?

If many people preorder it means there is a huge market for it …

And you will start processing how to give them the best value.

But if the response to the presale is low then you will know there isn't much market for it…

3. Your marketing campaign is not compelling.

Your whole marketing will flop if your marketing campaigns aren't compelling

Even If you have the right people to sell to and you have the right products to sell to them.

After you have gotten the first two on the ground the next thing is to build a very compelling marketing campaign around it…

If you can do it, hire someone to help you with it.

And I will advise you to use a direct response marketing approach to it.

If you don't know what it means, it means marketing where you will ask people to do something during your marketing… and they will do it.

This may include buying your products

When you are using the pain point of your prospects it shouldn't be offensive but rather persuasive and sympathetic…

With this, they will be ready to listen to you without any doubt.

Now look at your products. What is that thing that people are suffering from your products can help them ease … then make use of it.

Second Method;

This is where you use the good life your products will bring to people when they buy them, you can use this method mostly when you are selling luxury items

Items like SUV cars, expensive wristwatches, high ticket courses, etc.

This is when you deal with people's ego, exclusivity, and greed.

Many people buy SUVs, cars, and wristwatches just because they want to belong to a specific group of people…

Look at the statement below;

Here we are not selling wristwatches, we are selling the community of millionaires to people.

And the only thing you can do to change it is to answer the question in your sales message.

And give them the case study testimonial and every little evidence to support your answer.

And this is how you defeat one of the biggest demons in your business and make more sales

Don't act like you are controlling them to buy…

A simple statement like this will help.

" I know that you have read all the benefits of this product but it is you that will decide whether to buy it now before the price increases… "

People are always happy to listen to what you are going to say when you acknowledge them as a controller of their life.

4. Give people what they want.

This is one of the tricks some people use in relationships to deal with their partners…

If someone in the is giving the other person what they want…

The other person will be willing to do anything for them…

Because they don't want to miss what they are getting in the relationship.

The same when you want people to do what you want, you must be ready to give them what they want.

1. Do they want what I'm selling?

You may have the best products in the world if it doesn't solve their problems. There is no need to introduce the product to them.

They won't buy because they don't need to.

You can't sell a car tyre to someone who doesn't have a car.

You must ask yourself "do they want what I'm selling?"


2. Can they afford it?

Many businesses are not making enough sales because they are selling to the people who can't afford their products or services.

You must know one thing that you can't sell to everyone because not everyone has the money to buy.

And you should know that a product or service is not expensive or cheap.

You have to find the right people to buy it.

Or you can make the product affordable.

Don't sell a product of $1000 to someone earning $100 per month.

They will find it difficult to buy

Focus on people who have the money to buy.


3. Are they willing to buy?

This is another thing you must ask yourself,

You must make sure they buy now if not they may not buy later.

Do a good job by asking yourself this question.

If they are not ready to buy, give them good reasons to buy now.

But don't force them.

4. Is my product good enough

Some businesses are creating crappy products and expect people to buy.

If you are creating such products you will find it difficult to have customers.

If you manage to sell to them in the first place it will backfire.

And it will hurt you and your business.

You must be thinking that competition is not the only thing that can make a business fail…

Yes, I agree… Competition is not the only one.

But don't panic, this thing can be used to your advantage if you know how to do it.

Take a pen and paper or notes on your phones

Look at what you are selling


And ask yourself how many are buying from me?

Also, ask yourself if your sales are low…

How many competitors do I have?

List their names and everything about them

What are they doing differently?

If you are not sure about this the best thing to do is to buy their products.

And study everything about the competitors till they deliver your product or service

Take notes of everything

And look at what they are not doing enough…

And this is where your gold mine is

Just sit down and read the customers' reviews about the product and the company.

With this, you will get many ideas on how to improve your business

And if possible you should do your research and find out why they are not doing enough.

Because sometimes it may be something they can't control...

If you know the reason and you know you can control it then best of luck.

But if you can't control it, just move to another thing.

Look at everything they are doing and you can improve them in your marketing campaign.

And you should remember that, That the marketing campaign should focus on the thing you just improve in the market.

Focus on that thing and look at how people will come to you

Competition is a blessing in the market but you must know how to do it.

2. Where can I find them?

Once you know the type of people you are selling to, make sure you know where to find them.

In Nigeria, you can find them on Facebook or other social media networks but what works most is Radio.

Most of these people can be using radio stations.

And it is much easier than using the Internet.

If you live in Ibadan, many real estate owners advertise on the radio…And if it is not working they won't be using it.

You can use the internet but it is sweet if you use the radio even if it is a minute single.

You can also find them at other places like Churches or mosques…You will just need to introduce yourself to them and how what you are can benefit them.


3. What Are They Doing For A Living?

You should ask yourself this question because the way you will sell land worth #1m to a businessman is different from the way you will sell it to a salary earner.

Know what they are doing and you can present your offer to them in a way that will make it easy for them.

A businessman may find it easy to buy at once while the salary earner may prefer installments.


4. How much are they earning per month?

You may be thinking that "what concerns me about that I just want them to buy"

You are right, nothing concerns you and you shouldn't be stalking them up and down.

But in reality, it is something you must know because you shouldn't expect someone earning #30000 to buy a real estate worth #80m.

You are doing business and you are doing it to make money.

Save yourself time and don't advertise to the wrong people.

No matter how they won't buy from you.


5. How are you marketing to them?

Don't just say " buy land" or buy a house

Say something compelling and simple.

For instance, you present yourself in this way...

"If you don't want to stay one more year in another person's house then you must be ready to do what it takes…but don't I have a solution.."

If your competitors are selling more than you you should compare your offer with theirs.
One of the things that make a sales copy convert is to have a great offer.
If not the sales will be crawling like a snail 
So look at what you are offering.
Sometimes how you present your offer matters a lot 
There is a difference between 
"50% discount" and 
"Buy one get one free"
Also to have a great and irresistible offer you must have a great bonus for what you are selling.
And the bonus must be complementary.
Make a great offer that will make someone feel stupid if they don't buy.
For instance, if you are selling a car and you tell everyone that you will give them a year of service and maintenance for free.
People will come to you more than when you are selling only a car.
Make irresistible offer
Add bonus
And your sales will skyrocket.
3. Creativity 

You may have a good audience
You may also have a great offer 
But you must know how to use the right word to communicate.
Use the words that the customers are familiar with
