Family › Re: Who Can Refer Me To A Strong Man of God For A Deliverance? by joseph1832(m): 9:28am On Jun 27, 2016 |
Ladyrebo. Permit me to tell you that your dreams are the reflections of your current state of mind, which is as a result of the fact that you're troubled.
Lemme tell you this, you don't need a man of God, you don't need prayers, and you don't need to bother yourself about any dream, for you have taken the very first step toward success, that is knowing there's a problem, and something is wrong.
What you need do, and do very well is to prioritize your thoughts and actions. Outline the things that are important, and the things that are not, and please, whatever or whoever you believe is not important should be relegated to the background. No sentiment!.
Next time you go into a relationship, or if a guy is asking you to date him, know what you're going into, and make sure you know the guy want the same thing you want - marriage. You shouldn't even be thinking of dating a guy who just want to date you, without any plan for the future.
With your job, know that we live in a country where, who you know, go a lot of way thus getting you what you want. Go out and know people, be friends with people, make friends and spread the word. Be sure to know that whoever is giving you a job, or recommending you for a position, is in a position of power, to do so, thereby, you won't face disappointment.
There's a saying "when in Rome, behave like the Romans. So, I'm telling you, "you live in Nigeria, behave and think like Nigeria". Stop thinking your dreams are signs of set back, for its not. Its just your mind reflecting your present situation, nothing more, nothing less. |

layla129: So much trouble over this Lanicky chic and guess what? she used all the hate to her advantage. I wish Ivyy is the first runner up though...cool lady.
That your Number 6 can never have my vote and i'm sure a lot of people feel the same. The only lesson i learnt from this contest is that we should always be careful of what we do, friends we keep and how we relate to people because of the future..it matters a lot. Before the contest, i knew that chic and her peers to be very insultive and rude and it affected her a great deal. If what you say is true, then we are all guilty by association. |

My dear, its unfortunate we now life in a world where normal behavior, is believed abnormal, and abnormal behavior, is believed normal. I believe that's why they say "its a crazy world". |

I've been on a guy's shoulder once before, so I know how pushy & urgent some of them can be. Oh. Sorry, I didn't know this. Hope it didn't end the way nobody wants to hear?. |

Lezzlie: Today's church has become a beehive of activities, organisation and less spiritual. It is more of a social convention.
I'm sorry to say but the church has been blown off with the times where material aquirement and church hierarchy has taken the front seat to spiritual matters. All the more reason why salvation is almost now the least topic being preached in churches, but prosperity, success and all manner of worldliness is the order of the day. |

dammytosh: Jesus obeyed Govt and authority wether godly or not.
He paid tax.
This is one of the reasons I support ElRufai on the religion bill.
A properly trained pastor will not teach his congregation Boko HARAM type of message.
What u have simply said is the same teaching Boko HARAM leader gave them.
To them the Govt is wicked. Some christians are oblivious to this fact. The always want to believe their own religious laws supersede the law of the land. I remember telling a friend who always open his mouth to say his religious laws supersede the law of the land, that he should go and live in the Vatican, if christian religious law is what he truly want to follow. |
Christianity Etc › Re: When a government is becoming ungodly: should Christians continue to obey? by joseph1832(m): 9:07am On Jun 26, 2016 |
OP! The truth is, you are free to disobey government even when they go against the scripture, yes, its your God given right, your freedom of expression that no body can take, except death. However, I'll have you know, when you indeed choose to disobey government and get thrown in prison, even your God will not come to your rescue, like he did with Paul and Silas.
This my friend, is the difference between harsh reality and standard dogma. The truth is staring at you, you can choose to ignore it. |

Neyoor: That was actually in the time past, when I was blinded with the illusion of my personality. I thought politics would earn me fame, friends, connections and add glamour to my CV and that's why I participated in it. I held not less than 5 and lost just one but since I have been able to figure out who I am, I have deserted politics. That's nice to know. But still, contesting elections when I was in school was something I never did, never. Even in my NYSC days, I never did. I was mainly appointed, but voted, never. Could never really stand the thought of being scrutinized by people, who don't even know why they've voting for you, in the first place. |

Neyoor: You are right bro. I have also lost an election before and I know how it feels to lose an election. It hurts, it makes one feel uncertain. It is an emotional rollercoaster ride!
Africans are fantastically corrupt and that is why even when election is fairly conducted yet, we always have the minds set that it was rigged. Our perception and orientation needs to be changed.
No problem bro, the article is actually available on my facebook note but I won't mind forwarding it to your mail if you so wish. Thanks a lot. You can send it to JoeBlocks111@ygmail.com.
