The families of those murdered by their own people because of 'blasphemy' are yet to get justice years after, so, while the whole event is tragic, there are broader issues that have not been addressed and therefore their ultimatums are useless and provocative on their own.

I hate to break it to you, man, but the IT sector (which fintech is a part of) has been the biggest contributor to our GDP since 2018. More so since 2022. Nigeria has been 60% based service economy since 2022. The U.S. over 70%. The fintech sector combines production and services. Without the fintech sector and other such related sectors, we'd be doing worse than we are now. My assertion is supported by the quarterly National Bureau of Statistics reports since 2021.

We should be thankful for fintech and the IT sector. I wish I could share an article I wrote about it for a foremost book club debating it with some seasoned socioeconomists late last year. Maybe I'd mention you somewhere else to share it.

Here I was thinking the entertainment industry is the biggest contributor to our GDP since it's boom in recent time. Lol
