Alibaba has reacted to report of Governor Ganduje splitting Emir Sanusi's kingdom, after he granted assent to a bill passed at the state's assembly.

Alibaba who recounted how Ganduje took bribe as he reacted to report of the Kano Governor splitting Emir Sanusi's kingdom, stated that Emirs are a product of a blend of religion and institutionalized history dipped in custom and tradition. He further added that if a royal father cannot say without fear or fervour that a leader in his domain, who appeared in a video collecting bribe has lost the ingredients for being a leader or being in charge, then he needs to vacate the exalted seat.

The Police has arrested Baruwa Eleniyan, who yesterday assaulted Shoki Shitta for disrespecting Wizkid and also tailing his sister to their shop.

Baruwa Eleniyan who was arrested last night and is currently in police custody, had assaulted Shoki Shitta who openly called out Wizkid for not giving them money when he turned up at the neighbourhood he grew up in. A text message obtained from his phone by the police, revealed that he told Wizkid how Shoki was nabbed.

Charles Inojie's verified Instagram account has been hacked, few days after he called out Yahoo boys on the platform. Charles Inojie's Instagram account was reportedly hacked from Syria with the email linked to the account also changed.

The veteran actor's wife who raised an alarm on Instagram wrote; Hello everyone, we woke up to this notice, hubby's instagram account has been hacked from Syria, please report the account thank you! 

A quick check on the hacked account, revealed that some of his photos has been deleted as only those uploaded 75 weeks ago were left on the page.

Wizkid who reacted shortly after Davido gave N1m to Shoki Shitta who was beaten for disrespecting him, has begged for peace after the drama.  

Recall we reported earlier that Shoki Shitta had slammed Wizkid last week for not settling them when he came to Shitta in Surulere. Shatta Wale has revealed that God told him to change his name from Bandana to his present name, as he recounted how he was struggling in the music industry before the name change in 2013. According to the Ghanaian singer, he prayed to God to help him bounce back in the industry and heard a voice telling him to change his name from Bandana to Shatta Wale. 

“I felt this music wey I feel say you go be like Lil Wayne and Jay Z, the system no dey like that for here. You know the way Ghana music sometimes you have to hustle promoters to pay you and stuff so I was really struggling. So I woke up and just prayed to God. I said God I beg you, if you will give me another chance for this thing because the way man dey suffer, you for give me an idea (sic),” he said on Joy FM.

Further narrating how God spoke to him to change his name, Shatta Wale said: “All what I heard from God was, change your name. And I was like, but Bandana be cool o so I go fi change.“And He was like, I changed peoples’ names in the Bible and so if you can also change your name, I believe I can push you up. So I said what can I add to the Wale to make it strong, the only word that I could spell in my mind was Shatta. And Shatta in Jamaica is like real bad one. You know, somebody that people fear,” he added.

A drug peddler arrested alongside another suspect by the operatives of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has disclosed that he makes N3.6m annually selling hard drugs.The suspects Olukoya Ayodele, 26, and Victor Godwin, 30, who were arrested in the Alausa community of Ikeja, Lagos following an intelligence gathering by officers of the Decoy team of the RRS who were mandated to uncover illicit drugs being distributed in the area, confessed to buying and hawking different types of hard drugs such as, Indian Hemp, Skunk, Tramadol, Refnol, Diazal and other assorted hard drugs to factory workers in the area.

It was gathered that Ayodele who claims to be a graduate of Information Management and a notorious member of Aye cult group, was arrested with charms which he claimed he used in protecting himself from the harm of other rival cult members back then in his days as a student. Victor said to be a boutique owner, told newsmen that he sold hard drugs to supplement his income. He further revealed that he used proceeds from the illicit business to pay his rents and was also planning to get married soon which he believed his boutique income could not take care of.
