A Nigerian lady in her early 20's, has narrated how her fiance stood by her after she got involved in an accident in her final year in school that affected her femur. According who shared her story through relationship blogger, Amanda Chisom's Facebook page, her fiancee who she got engaged to and will be marrying soon was advised to leave her as she was a burden, but he gave her a shoulder to lean on through it all.

According to her, her fiance who she met after she got admitted to Delta State University, Abraka, sold his property to take care of her hospital bill.

Here's her story;

''It's a long story I hope someone gets inspired with it.Am a young girl in her early twenties,I went to Delta state university Abraka. In the year 2013 I got admission in to the university but due to some financial issues was almost loosing hope then our part cross. I met this young Man Kc on a friends birthday party we got talking exchange numbers,each time he calls we spend time talking from there I told him about the problem I was facing at that time he said don't worry I will pay your acceptance fees will get an accommodation for you then before the time runs out .I will raise your school fees he said I was shocked because he was just 22years just finished school but already working and also his from a wealthy home so I told him to come to my house to talk to my mum so she don't feel I am on the street now.

So he came talked with my mum and told her I will see your daughter through school, will pay her fees ,pay for her accommodation, buy her books give her feeding money with God on my side will do all that .My mum said no but after much crying from me she accepted I got in to school 2013 with all his helps I never lacked for one day .We started dating officially 2014 still yet nothing changed he kept to his words so it was my turn to keep to mine,I told God give me the strength to be Faithful to find reasons every new day to love this young man not because his helping me but the fact I want to do so.Hmmmm it was not easy with all the temptation in the university I still stood my ground because all he has ever asked me apart from sex which I gave willingly to him he asked me to me truthful always and faithful that's all he asked which I feel was not too much so placed my priorities straight.

I am here for school and I have a man waiting for me back home,fast forward to 2016 I was in my finals my second semester in my room a friend came in to my room asked me to go with to the market we left on our way back home we had accident. Dear I could not believe my self I broke my left femur 2months to my final exams my project was not completed either I could not cry I just watched as my life turned around,but I told my self I will write this exam I will finish my project too so I started treatment in school my bad. I went for native treatment because I was sacred of the scar I will have from the surgery but I was so wrong because from April till July 4 the bone did not heal with the pain and all I finished my project.My people asked me to come home I told them no that I will write this exam which I did I was carried to the exam hall the last day when my mates were shouting. I was crying but I was still happy that I am still alive I came back home with my broken bone with hopes it will heal if I changed my place of treatment so August 13th .I went for a new native treatment we were asked to bring one hundred and fifty thousand after much begging.

My man agreed to pay he never left my side for once he stood by me he was at every prayer house for me ,he kept saying to me in my sick bed" you will be fine ,I am not going anywhere no matter the out come". Let me not lie I did not believe I thought my life has ended that I can never walk again from August till January25th 2017 I was still in my bed the bone was not healing, so on January 25th I called him I told him how I appreciate all he has being doing from 2013 till date how he stood by me even with his friends and some family members telling him how a liability I am to him he still stood by me ,that he should not waste his time on me that I can't walk again he should go and live his life. I gave him reasons why he should go and stop helping me after talking he said no Wahala if that's what you want but I made a promise to God and I intend to keep it until I find a solution ,I am not leaving you like this.

February 4 I checked in to a private hospital because I was so sick getting to the hospital the doctor said I will run different types of text and I will go for another X-ray for my broken bone which I did and the MD of the hospital brought a consultant and he told us he can operate on my leg that it's not damaged yet but might be short due to the delay that it all depends on what he sees when he opens up,we asked how much he said eight hundred thousand, my mum started crying how can we come up with such amount of money and My man came up and said " I sold one of my properties ,I have payed already ".

Jezzzzz I could not believe it God did it again, so February 4 I went in for my surgery after 7 to 8 hours I came out with pains but alive again I was moved to a private ward which I stayed for three weeks because my man said please let her stay, so she can be taken care of so no complications will come up after a while the doctor said I am fit to go with my surgical cast but still in one place. Then I held God tight ,I prayed I fasted I told God I want to be a living testimony and He Answered me May19 my Surgical cast was removed and I got a physiotherapists that comes to the house, which he payed fifty thousand monthly. With time I was able to match my leg little by little June 30th I went for X-ray and the bone had healed not just healed but same length with the right.I started walking on the 28th day of HALLELUJAH FESTIVAL I wanted to walk round and shout on my voice so I told God I am going to walk and I did even with the pains though I still feel pain and I am still on my physiotherapy but I walk around and do my daily work and My Man still standing by my side .We are not married but just got engaged God answers prayers. Thought I share my testimony because Chisom your Wall kept me going and I learnt a lot thanks very much God bless you and your people"

Bukky Wright’s son, Ojayy Wright has dropped a piece for those who insult him, and according to him it really hurts. According to the Nollywood actress’ son, those who are hating on him are all doing that because he’s privileged.

However he went further to disclose that what bothers him is that, the people who are supposed to have his back, are the ones who ignite the insults.

Charles and Hannah Nwankwo who have been living in a house submerged by flood, have narrated the sad tale of losing their 2 children in one week due to poverty. 

“When I gave birth to my first child Chukwuebuka Christopher, he had a condition which caused him to convulse regularly. We were managing it traditionally with palm kernel oil and some other things; but one day in March 2017, Chukwuebuka again began to convulse. On this occasion, we had unfortunately run out of the medicines, due to lack of money. To make matters worse, my husband was also not around to do the running around for cash

I was also eight months pregnant and Chukwuebuka was going to be three. I became afraid, panicky and started looking for people to help me. With neighbour’s help, we rushed him to Isolo General Hospital, where he was given injection and he immediately went into coma, which he never came out of.
We really never took him to a hospital anytime he convulsed because the first time it happened and we took him to a hospital, we were told his condition wasn’t medical and that we should lean more towards traditional treatment. Since then, we managed to put it in check until this fateful day.

It was after he went into a coma that we were told we should never have brought him to the hospital, as someone who is convulsing should not be injected.While in coma, they carried out series of tests on him and concluded that his life was in the hands of God and we should just be hopeful. But eventually, we lost him.

In the meantime, my second son also took ill. I still can’t understand what happened to Ebubechukwu; I can’t really explain it. He was one year, going to two and not sick. You know as children, he and his brother were always together; they played together, did everything together and were indeed very close. So, when he saw his brother lying in the hospital bed lifeless, he pulled and called his name in desperation. When he didn’t respond, he started crying and we consoled him. Thereafter he just started behaving funny and strange and eventually died.”

Originally from Abia State, Mrs Nwankwo has been married to her Enugu State husband for three years. She spoke of how she used to manage her husband’s N12,000 salary during the time of the former Lagos State governor, since it was regular, but lamented that since the assumption to power of the new governor, salaries at the Lagos State Waste Management Authority, LAWMA, where her husband works, has not been forthcoming. At the moment, she said they are being owed four months’ salary.

“We have been managing by God’s Grace. My baby is not eating well. We go hungry for days; sometimes because we don’t have money to buy food and the baby doesn’t get enough breast milk. She is five months old and the last time we checked, she weighed just 4kg, which is the usual weight for new born babies.” Asked how they meet their rent obligation, she said: “We don’t pay for this place because of the water (flood) and because the building is abandoned. The caretaker just allowed us to move in to manage. The place gets badly flooded when it rains and our things get soaked. The water even gets to our ankle inside the house.” To cater for their baby, she said they try to use any money they get to buy food for her, aside breast milk.

Somewhat ironically, Mrs. Nwankwo holds a National Certificate in Education, NCE (2010); she also said she had all her education in Lagos and has even taught in two ‘good’ schoolsleaving one to wonder how come she settled for such life of poverty. Couldn’t she look for a teaching job?



Her reply was, “If I get a teaching job, I will jump at it because it is my passion.” On his part, Charles Nwankwo, who had kept quiet all the while, said he has been unrelenting, in spite of everything and puts in his best towards the welfare of his family. “I work with Lagos State Waste Management Agency, LAWMA and I am being paid N12, 000, but for four months now, I have not got a kobo as salary. Because of this, life has been hell for me and my family.

It was partly because of this lack of payment that I lost my children to the cold hands of death."

Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, who had displayed her assets in sexy wears before now seems to have turned a new leaf, after an 'award-winning' discovery.

According to the beautiful actress, she has discovered that covering up one's body is more sexier and classier than exposing it and so, she's clinging so tight to that.

Anita Joseph who had a chat with Sunday Scoop, further revealed that she would have been married by now, but her then European boyfriend wanted her to quit acting after marriage and she opted out. She also talked about not being a victim of sexual harassment even for once in Nollywood.

“I have never experienced sexual harassment in the movie industry. I just concentrate on being the best, and I also work hard. I know how to handle my admirers in a polite manner. Some people who even had the intention of wooing me later became my good friends" she said.

On her sexy figure, she said;

 “It is not like I go out of my way to flaunt my body. I thank God that I have a good physique. Initially when I got into the industry, I believed in flaunting what I had; and I don’t think there is anything wrong in that. However, as I have grown older in the industry, I have grown beyond those things. These days, I prefer to wear decent clothes that cover me properly.

However, even if I wear a free-flowing gown, my curves would still show. I have discovered that being covered up is even more classy and sexy than exposing delicate parts of the body. A lot of people don’t know this, but I’m actually born-again; a redeemed child of God. It is important to look beyond the outward appearance before judging people. There have been times I went astray, but the good thing is that God is a very caring father and he always accepts me back with love.”

The immediate past Governor of Jigawa State, Dr. Sule Lamido's second daughter, Hajia Hadiza Sule Lamido, has passed on after a brief illness.nHadiza who reportedly died on Saturday morning, July 29th, in an Indian hospital, is survived by husband and three children.

She was born in 1979 and according to a family source, the funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as her remains arrives Nigeria. May her soul rest in peace, amen.

Uche Ugbai, the City FM OAP  who is popularly known as Sensei Uche has revealed why he's been off air for some months. According to the OAP, he has been battling with cancer and it all started sometime in December 2016.

Sensei Uche who took to social media to call on well meaning Nigerians to come to his aid, further said he slowly came to realise that he was losing sense of hearing in his left ear, after he sought medication over a recurring nasal congestion and sore throat.

Here's his post;

"Hello everyone, my name is Uche Agbai, many of you may know me as ‘SenseiUche’ of City 105.1FM. Those of you who do may have also noticed I have been off air for an unusually long time. In appreciation of the concerned messages and loving support that I have received I would like to take this opportunity to explain the circumstances of my absence.

The story began sometime in December 2016. I had slowly come to realise that I was losing sense of hearing in my left ear. With the onset of persistent nasal congestion and a recurring sore throat I sought medical attention. After visiting a number of hospitals all of whom subjected me to several tests, I was told I had simply been suffering from an infection. I began my treatment in the hopes the symptoms would clear. The symptoms worsened and I started having severe nose bleeds. I was then advised to consult an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. After several scans, an MRI scan of my head revealed an unidentified growth in my upper nasal tract measuring 8.5cm and 3cm wide, my blood ran cold.

The discovery cast my life into limbo, suddenly confronted with several frightening prognoses; potential blindness, partial deafness, anosmia or worse. After undergoing surgery, a biopsy of the mass returned the diagnosis; cancer. Analysis of my scans would show I had a stage 3 nasal lymphoma. To this day I cannot quite find the words to describe the emotions of helplessness and despair that beset me. It was as though my life had suddenly and without fair warning, been brought to a screeching halt. I was advised on the high risk of my situation with the danger that the cancer could metastasise and spread to my brain. Compounded by my struggle in finding adequate medical care in Nigeria, I felt as though I was in a lopsided battle against time for my wellbeing.

It has been in no uncertain terms, thanks to the support of my family, friends, and dear colleagues at City FM that I have been managing to cope with all of this. The emotional, the physical and the financial struggles that accompany fighting such a disease are just too overwhelming for one person to hope to transcend. To those who have been there, my sincerest and deepest gratitude.

My treatment plan consists of 6 courses of chemotherapy and intermittent radiotherapy spread over a 7 month period. My fight has begun, and at the time of writing I have completed 2 courses of chemotherapy at Lakeshore Center in Lagos, with plans to receive radiotherapy in one of their affiliates abroad. With a projected cost of 21,000 USD/~16,000 GBP to complete my treatment, I wish to appeal to you all to help in my battle against cancer.

A 28-year-old lady, has been left in critical but stable condition after her 72-year-old husband Clarence White, reportedly grabbed a 22-caliber handgun and shot her in the face on Thursday morning for daring to say ‘he didn’t satisfy her sexually or financially’.



New York Daily News sources claimed the incident which happened in Bronx was triggered by an argument between White and his 28-year-old wife over her growing dissatisfaction, which came up after he lost his job.

Clarence White was found by responding officers around 8:40 a.m. sitting on the floor in a hallway of their home on Glebe Ave. in Parkchester, while his who was shot in the right cheek was taken to Jacobi Medical Center.

The suspect who told told Cops “I shot my wife’, said during the argument, his wife ordered him to move out which made him shot her in the face in anger.

Appearing before the Bronx Criminal Court on Friday, a judge ordered White held on $300,000 bail when he was arraigned on attempted murder, assault, harassment and weapons possession charges.

Daddy Freeze who asked which of the two Nigerian men dressed closest to the depiction we have of Jesus, went further to disclose that he's not a grass eating sheep that has lost its senses. He also claimed he's a man with an open mind, who has taken time out to study the Bible.

American singer, Usher who made headlines after reportedly paying $1.1 million to a woman he infected with incurable herpes virus, might be dragged to court in a $10M lawsuit.

A woman who wants to be referred to as Jane Doe, claimed she met Usher in Atlanta on April 16. She further disclosed that they kissed, she performed MouthAction on him and they eventually had sex in her home, but she says he wore a condom then.

The lady however disclosed that they had sex again 12 days later in a New Orleans hotel room, but this time they did not use a condom, which she stated in the lawsuit document she filed.

Jane Doe said she decided to file the lawsuit, after she read about Usher admitting he has Herpes Simplex 2. The woman didn't state if she's infected. She only stated that she is concerned because she was "exposed" and says she wouldn't have had sex with Usher if he'd disclosed he has the virus. She's suing Usher Raymond IV for negligence, battery and emotional distress and is seeking at least $10 million in damages.

Nollywood actress turned Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has called out a Pastor who sent a much younger Pastor out on a mission to start a parish under his, without financially assisting him.

According to Eucharia, the younger Pastor is sent to start up a church in her village. Here's what she wrote;

"You Are Free To Block Me After This Post... This thing of sending an assistant pastor to start a new branch WITHOUT any financial assistance, asking them to go and 'prove' their ministry looks like wickedness in religious robe.

Did you consider that those pastors have families who depend on them?
Whose ministry are they even proving? Theirs or yours? Definitely not theirs because this church is your ministry, not theirs? If they were going out to start their own ministry, then we can tell them to go and prove their ministry.

Even though we should actually assist them too But this time sir, it is your ministry, your responsibility, your vision and you should also be part of the provision. Let's be real and truthful to ourselves. Let our conscience judge this thing.

You won't give them $1 but you will expect tithe from them in a matter of months. Sir, that's not good nah. Even unbelievers won't open a branch of their business without equipping the shop for their manager. Religious people will come here to say "The kingdom operates with kingdom principles, don't bring in corporate principles here". Religion is insensitive, wicked and dangerous. I am saying this because in my village, there's a vibrant young pastor who was sent there by a very big ministry headquartered in the city, and he's in my village to 'prove his ministry'. He has no place to rest his head with his family and my family back home had to take him in. It hasn't been easy with him yet the rich G.O of his church wouldn't assist him financially. He laid hands on him and believes that's enough to support him in the mission field.

You haven't yet blocked me? You must be a lover of truth. You will live long.
Secondly, when a pastor leaves the service of your church having served for years, please don't let him go empty handed. The situations surrounding his exit notwithstanding, provided he had once worked for you over the years, he deserves a gratuity/pension.

I have said it several times, assistant pastors should start demanding for a formal employment contract which stipulates the terms and conditions of their employment. This is 21st century"

37-year-old retired basketball star, Lamar Odom, who was married to 33-year-old Khloe Kardashian between 2009 and 2016, has revealed he is writing a ‘tell all’ book and the Kardashian clan need to brace up for it.

It was gathered that he reportedly signed a $10 million (£7.7 million) deal to pen his memoirs, and wont be holding back.

"I have a book coming out, an autobiography about my life,” he told In Touch magazine.

"[The book will cover] everything. Everything. It’s a free-for-all. [I’ll be] open about everything that’s been going on in my life, about the past,” the troubled star promised.

Lamar fell into a life threatening coma back in October 2013 after being found unconscious inside a brothel in Navada.

And according to a source, his brush with death has left him with “nothing to lose” - so fans should expect explosive details in his memoir.

“Lamar is going to include never-before-told secrets about cheating, sex, and drugs, the booze, the pills, the cocaine, all of it,” a source told In Touch.

But there will reportedly be reason for the Kardashian clan to be braced for shocks as the MailOnline claims the book will also pull back the curtain on some of the more controversial moments from the famous family’s lives.

According to the website, Lamar will: "reveal plenty of Kardashian family secrets about drugs, surgery as well as secret splits between Kim and Kanye West.”

A source added to MailOnline that the book will “go down in history”, stating: "'Lamar has been close to the Kardashian family through all of their craziest drama, and he is their biggest threat when it comes to spilling their dirtiest secrets."

Reports also suggest Kim Kardashian will be painted as a “money grabber” who "uses men for fame", Kris Jenner will be revealed to have hit on various men in the family - and that she knew about Caitlyn Jenner’s transgender identity back when she went by the name Bruce, Kylie will be exposed for having some questionable friends, and Rob Kardashian’s troubles will also be discussed.

The Lagos State Government has announced restriction of vehicular movement in the state on July 22, 2017, in view of the elections that will hold across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across the state.

In a press release today by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, the restriction of movement across the state will be enforced between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday July 22, to allow for a smooth conduct of the polls and unhindered participation.
