Sophia who disclosed that Imade disrespected her aunt, wrote; 

“I just watched my daughter ignore her aunty like she couldn’t hear her talking to her, then she rolled her eyes as her aunty walked away and smirked.  I’m shook. She’s me!

26-year-old Julia Monaco, gotta be the luckiest woman alive, as the Australian lady who survived Barcelona attack unhurt has revealed she has survived three terror attacks this year, in three different  countries in as many months during her trip around Europe.

According to Julia who said her experience hasn’t stopped her from wanting to see the world, she was travelling on the tube when it was put on lockdown during the London Bridge attack in June. She was also in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris just days later when a knifeman attacked a police officer in the square outside the famous landmark.

She told 3AW: “I don’t feel like I want to go home. “I feel like I want to stay here and not let them – whoever they may be – win. “I’m going to see what I came here to see.” Julia was in Urban Outfitters with pals Julia Rocca and Alana Reader on Placa de Catalunya when the incident unfolded yesterday.


Speaking another Australian media outlet, she told of the mass-panic in the moments after the terrifying attack began.

She told 9news: “”In a split second it became absolute pandemonium.” Julian Cadman, who now lives in Australia but was born in Tunbridge Wells, was in the city with his mum on holiday when the van was driven through crowds at Las Ramblas.

One of those confirmed dead following the atrocity is Italian Bruno Gulotta, the father of two young children, who died while on holiday with his family.

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has revealed why he's taking up a two months paternity leave. According to billionaire dad, he's expecting a baby with his wife, and just like he did for his daughter Max, he will always be grateful that he could spend so much time with her in the first months of her life.

Here's what he wrote;

"When Max was born, I took two months of paternity leave. I will always be grateful I could spend so much time with her in the first months of her life.

Our new daughter is coming soon, and I'm planning to take two months of paternity leave again. This time, I'm going to take advantage of Facebook's option to take leave in parts. I'll take a month off to be with Priscilla and the girls at the beginning, and then we'll spend the whole month of December together as well. I'm looking forward to bonding with our new little one and taking Max on adventures.

So yesterday, we reported that two Lagos phone thieves were nabbed by the phone owner who was steps ahead of them in technology. 

The owner of the phone and Instagram user, @lordesszzetta, has taken to the platform today to disclose that she has gotten her phone. She wrote; 

"PLEASE READ: UPDATE ON MY STOLEN PHONE(14/08/2017)
It is with great pleasure that I announce that my stolen phone has been retrieved today, Monday 14/08/2017 around 6:30pm. IT HAS NOW BEEN CONFIRMED FOR SURE THAT THE PHONE WAS INDEED STOLEN BY ONE OF THE GUYS IN THE PICTURE who claimed someone threw it out of my car and he picked it.

The suspect tried to be smart and make my story backfire after they saw their pictures going viral. They contacted a popular blog and posted that I am wanted by the Nigerian Air Force in a bid to intimidate me with the contact he has. I visited the barracks and thanks to some good men of the Air Force who investigated and clearly made me understand that THE AIR FORCE NEVER DECLARED ME WANTED as they have no business with such a civil case that should be handled by the police.

Indeed the culprits plan did not work out as there were loopholes in his story which gave him up. Thankfully, the officers on duty ensured the phone was retrieved and handed over to me. His motive behind taking the case to the Airforce failed and backfired. The suspect will certainly be facing the wrath of the law for false alarm and lying on the force that I was declared wanted.

As you can see from the picture of the phone, the culprits had no intention of returning it as they wiped off all the information in it and restored it to factory settings to either make use of it or sell. The police were duly informed of the case and have been updated on all recent developments.

A raid carried out by the newly inaugurated task force at about 1.30am on Monday, on uncensored and unclassified movies by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), has seen the arrest of 3 nollywood movie piracy suspects. 

The raid, led by notable marketer and member of the task force, Mr. Gabriel Okoye, aka Igwe Gabosky, took place at the popular Alaba market, leading to the seizure and confiscation of films and replicating machines estimated to be worth over N50million. 

Some of the movies that were seized from the suspects identified as  Ndu Celestine, Okechukwu Ikuagwu, and Austine Ugokwe include; ‘Ayamma’, ‘Wedding Party’, ‘Three Wise Men’, ’30 Days in Atlanta’, ‘A Trip to Jamaica’, ‘Lekki Wives’, ‘Wives on Strike’, ‘Jennifer’s Diary’, and ‘Fifty’. 
The suspects are currently being held at Area E Police Station Festac Town, Lagos, where they were being interrogated.

Coming after it was reported that HBO was hacked, 4 people residing in India has been arrested for leaking an episode from HBO’s “Game of Thrones” television series before it was aired in the country, police said Monday.


After receiving a complaint for a company “we investigated the case and have arrested four individuals for unauthorised publication of the fourth episode from season seven,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Akbar Pathan told AFP.
The suspects were charged with criminal breach of trust and computer-related offences, and according to Pathan would be detained until August 21 amid an investigation.

It seems the petition to recall Kogi State Senator, Dino Melaye, has sparked more as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the receipt of a petition for the recall of Mr. Abubakar Kuki, the representative of Bebeji Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly. 

Disclosing this in a statement signed by Mr. Adeddeji S. Soyebi, Chairman, INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee (IVEC),  the electoral body further revealed the petition was received on Friday from Mr. Kuki’s constituents. 


INEC added that in accordance with its guidelines for recall, it has acknowledged the receipt of the petition and has written to inform Mr. Kuki of the presentation of the petition. INEC equally stated that a time table and schedule of activities in respect of the petition will soon be released.

“A timetable and schedule of activities pursuant to the petition will be issued shortly,’’ Soyebi said.

A lady identified as Arielle who went on a date with a guy 20 years younger than her, has gotten the worst heartbreak ever as the young man who eloped after their one night stand, refused picking her calls, has gone ahead to boast about with his school's bully's mum on radio.

Heartbroken Arielle who reached out to a radio station to ask for help after the boy, whose name was given as Rob refused picking her calls, in a recorded message that has been shared online, got the shock of her life.

Arielle decided to enlist the help of local radio show hosts Ramiro, Pebbles, Melissa and Wiggy in Boston, hoping she could rekindle the magic with her toyboy lover.

After introducing herself and laying out the bare bones of her story, she was asked to stay on the line, but keep quiet while the radio hosts called Rob.

Rob was a little surprised to get the call, especially when they told him they had lined up a date for him and the radio station would pick up the bill.

When the hosts told him why they were calling, the boy informed them that he only slept with the woman to get back at her son for bullying him. He showed no remorse and even informed the woman that he would send a photo he took of his d*** in the woman's mouth to the woman's son with the words "I win."

The recording was just so painful to listen to and the woman sounded really hurt.

DJ tells Rob;

"She called us and told us, according to her, how great the date was, by the way - you my friend are a master in the bedroom - and she said that she'd like to see you again, but she hasn't been able to get in contact with you."

"Wait a minute, so she called you because she thinks I'm great and she wants to go out with me?," Rob replied.

"Yeah, we're calling because you wouldn't call her back."

Rob adds: "I can't believe this is happening right now. This is hilarious."

When the radio show asked why he hadn't returned her calls, he said: "Look, this is going to make me sound like a huge a******e, but whatever, so this is all kind of a revenge thing. I saw her online, I recognised her last name and it turns out her son actually used to bully the s**t out of me and so I figured if I could f*** his mum, I could rub it in his face."

Arielle was on the line and also heard his astonishing plot to get revenge on her son Sam.

A shocked Arielle asks: "You're friend with Sam?"

"No, I'm not friends with your a******e son," Rob adds. "He was a total p***k to me and ruined my life. And now I've returned the favour."

Following the ban on Aso Ebi and Ungodly Wedding Engagement in Redeemed Christian Church of God, Cool FM OAP, Daddy Freeze, who has always tackled Nigerian Pastors, has slammed Pastor Adeboye.

Nollywood actress, Felicia Fred, who has featured in over eight movies and bagged an endorsement deal with an energy drink, recently had a chat with a Vanguard correspondent, where she talked about sex, money and love.

According to the actress, she’s not interested in sex as money is all she wants.

Here are excerpts from the interview;

In your bio you are described as a public figure, do you think you are a public figure?
Well, at this point of my life, of my career I see myself as someone who is just standing out. I feel like I haven’t achieved one percent of my dream. Come next two years and I will give you another reply.
What’s your love life like?
My love life? I have no comment. It’s not my priority at the moment.

So no man has ever rocked your world?
I think my career should rock my world for now. Before I went into Nollywood I had to school and I come from a very religious family. I had very strict upbringing. For now, I am more focused on my career.

You said you’re from a religious background; how will your dad feel if he sees that twerking video?
I know he might complain, he will be sad but I will tell him that twerking is an African dance, and I am a proud African, as a proud African twerking is part of our cultural dance. That’s what I will use to convince him because I know he will scream. Besides, my dad is my dad, I am me and I have to live my life.

As far as acting goes; what’s the limit for you?
I know I can never go naked on screen. I want to be in a movie where anybody that sees it could be inspired and want to be an actress. I know I have admired a lot of people in the past like, Joke Silva, Liz Benson, and these are people that when you see their movies, even kids, learn a lot. Perhaps, if I haven’t seen people like that on screen I wouldn’t have been this hungry or passionate about acting. I would love to interpret my roles but there is a limit to what I can act. Even at this stage as an upcoming actress I select my roles, I select the kind of movies I do because I want to teach lessons of life by my movies.

What do you really want out of life?


I want to be what God wants me to be. If there is anything I am scared of it’s not being what I am capable of being. I want to keep going higher, I don’t want to be contented till the day I die. I want to keep working harder, no matter the amount of deals I get, I just want to keep pushing, because on the career you can never be there. Look at Rihanna for instance, she’s a musician but still, she went into her clothing line, shoe line and earrings line and she’s still pushing; that’s what I want for myself. So, no matter what I achieve in life I want to keep pushing till the day I die.

When will you feel sexually harassed?
To be honest, in this modern age, I don’t think people harass people sexually. It is all about consent; when you are approached you have the right to decline or oblige. If a director says he wants to sleep with you, it is up to you to accept or refuse. But these days the directors are more of victims than the girls, they literally throw themselves at them. They are so desperate that they tell them things like; I have bigger hips than Mercy Johnson give me the role; I have bigger ass than Omotola give me the role and on and on it goes. If you see a director’s phone you will be shocked to see the number of WhatsApp messages he gets from actresses begging him and telling him what they can do, on and off set. So, these days it’s not more of anybody wants to sleep with, it more like the other way round.

How often do men make passes at you?
You know we are in the computer age, so it’s not just about when I step out anymore its everywhere; my Instagram or Facebook. Sometimes, when I am bored and I just want to feel special or beautiful I could just go into my inbox and start reading the love letters and messages, so I will say all the time.

Will you say acting is paying your bills?
A big no, social media pays my bills, through adverts, I also model for companies and I do paid adverts. When it comes to entertainment I pay my bills from social media.

Can marriage or money stop you from acting?
No, because it’s my passion, it’s what I love to do. Long before now when I did certain things, like the way I react to certain things, people asked me if I were an actress or if I wanted to go into acting, because they already saw that thing in me. I love to act and nothing can stop me from being an actor, I might do other things but I will still act even if it means acting one movie in a year.

Money, love and sex; which is important to you?
To me its money, because when you have love and you don’t have money it fades, it dies, you can’t sustain it. The country is hard, the economy is hard, and everything is money. For sex, it is not important to me because it can’t be my interest where money is.

A plantain farmer, Moses Erutuya,  who caught a thief who stole 35 bunches, has been arrested for reportedly killing the plantain thief identified as Jonathan for stealing from him since 2007. 

It was gathered that Jonathan was hit with a stick in the incident which happened at Odighi village, Edo State. 

The Nation reports that Moses said;



“I started the farm in 1998. In 2007, while waiting for the plantain to mature, somebody went there and stole 60 bunches. I complained and was told nobody will guard my farm for me. Since then, I have been monitoring the farm. 

Luck ran against him this 2017 when he stole 35 bunches. I traced him to where he wanted to sell them. He said the plantain was not mine. He stole seven bunches from my farm. I asked him to go and show me where he got others. .

On our way, he stopped. The wood he used to hold his bike, I took it and hit him on the head and he died. His family was looking for him. They came to me and I told them I left him to go but I later took them to where the body is. I want government to forgive me.” 


Speaking to newsmen on the incident, the State's Police Commissioner, Haliru Gwandu, said the suspect would soon be charged to court.

Beautiful Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro, in an exclusive interview with Joy News’ MzGee, said that her fight with fellow actress Yvonne Nelson was irrelevant.

“It is over. After a while, you will sit down and start to think, why are we even fighting? It doesn’t even make sense. It is so unnecessary,” she disclosed.

Guys, it seems it’s going to be a long week of Facebook drama as we’ve already got another one, and here’s the gist. A Nigerian man, Okon Akpabio, has taken to Facebook to call out a Facebook lady, Inomesit Ekoh, who he fell in love with but she chose to dupe him instead.

Here’s his rant;

“I meet this woman named INEMESIT EKOH on Facebook sometimes in 2015 and became friends.
We kept on chatting and at a stage we exchanged mobile numbers. I asked her where she is based and she said Uyo. Where are you from and she said Etinan. I asked her what her was her genotype type and she told me she will get back to me after checking her NYSC identity card, she later got back to me and said AA and I told her I’m good to go with her. The relationship became strong and tight even without seeing me physically, she started calling me SWEET SWEET names and started requesting for data and airtime which I never stopped from giving her.
At some stage, I invited her to visit me and she said she would love to visit me but she has to travel to Aba where she served(NYSC) to carry her house property but she doesn’t have money.
I asked her about her parents and she said her dad is late and the mum is very poor
I asked her how much she would need to transport her house property from Aba to Uyo and she said 30k and I asked her to how do I send money to her and she said she has account with UBA and sent me this account number 2085806496 and posted the money to her. She traveled to Aba according to her and at about few minutes to 4pm where bank are billed to close, she called me and told me the lawyer in charge of the house she lived had locked up her house saying she has to pay for the 9 months she is owing and I asked her how much and she said 45k at that stage she was calling me every 3 to 5 minutes begging me to help her so I had to rush to Bank and send her the money
She thanked me and told me she will be going back to Uyo the next day but meanwhile she is going to AKTC to charter a bus that will convey her property home
We continue to chat and at a stage I reminded her about her proposed visit
She told me she has something serious to tell me and that she is begging me not to get angry with her I assured her not to be angry and she told me that she was lying to me that she had moved her load to Uyo.She went on to tell me that she used the money for something else.She told me she would be leaving for Aba the following day with her elder sister NSINI EKOH with mobile number 07065923149 she told me her mother was going to send them money that when they get to Aba, they will pick up the money.
I quickly call the mother on mobile number 08022823587 and the mother told me that she has no money to send to them that they are going to languish in that Aba so I called her and told them what their mother had told me so at that stage, everything about them rested on my shoulder meanwhile I have never seen them face to face but I send them money for feeding and transport. I don’t know if they were fooling me to get all that cash
Later i send her transport money and she came to visit me and on her first visit, I took her to sweet sansation to go and eat and she was like to eat or not to eat but she requested for a take away and we left on getting home she told me she has no dresses that her elder sister usually wears her cloths and whenever she does that, she would leave such dresses for her. I told her I have heard. Lest I forget as I opened my room door for her to enter, as soon as she stepped her feet on my parlour, she said “I can’t live here” on my mind I thought she lives in a glass house so I was dumbfounded and I said to my self that this woman must be a classy one. I swallowed my spit
The next day I asked her to check the kitchen and come up with what she would need to buy and make soup she did and I asked her how much she would need and she said I should give her any amount and I said to her so if I give you N500 or N1000 that will be good for you and she said” if you give me one thousand, I will cook one thousand naira soup you give me two thousand naira soup and I will cook two thousand naira soup ” so I gave her N10,000

“Still on INEMESIT EKOH matter, she went to the market came back and cook the soup
Few days later she requested I give her money to buy some dresses for her self and since my work did not give me chance and for the love I had for her, I gave her my ATM and she went and withdraw money and purchase so many cloths for herself and when she came back, she displayed those cloths and I queried her for the choice of most of the cloths that were seemingly oversized and she said those ones will serve her as gown when she get pregnant and I said no problem
While she was checking the cloths she was communicating her home people so at a stage she said I have to buy cloth for her mum so that she will use that to convince them mum to allow her to marry me I laughed and told her that’s a good idea and I now asked her how much the cloth will cost and she said 12k and I gave her.
Before I know a call entered her phone and she picked and the caller was a man they talked and the guy asked her where she was and she said Lagos the guy said why did she leave for Lagos without telling him and she apologized and said the trip took her unawares so the guy asked her what she was going to buy for her and she said she will buy him singlet and the guy said he has a lot of singlet so Inemesit Ekoh now said” I would have loved to buy you boxer but I don’t know how your thing long reach” so when she dropped the call I asked as who the guy was and she said the guy is her choir master in The Mount Zion light house, aka offort, Uyo and at that point I asked her if the man or guy had given her money for the purchase of such cloths she was talking about. She did not utter a word.
I told her I did not expect such word she used when she was talking with her choir master. The next day she was back to Balogun market where she bought clothes and at a stage she called me and said that there is no more money in my account and I said why?
She said it’s like there is nothing again so I told her to slot in the ATM again and select savings since the same card is taking care of my savings and current account so she got the money she needed to complete her purchases which included customized polo t shirt she was going to use for her birthday which was coming up on November 23rd 2016
She hurriedly arranged her stuffs with a bag of rice she collected from my block leader which I later pay
I took her with my Bus to AKTC at Ojuelegba with enough money and I added $100 US Dollars
She departed for Uyo

Incidentally the day she was traveling back to Uyo Saturday 19th November 2016 my colleague happened to take his wife to Ojuelegba for her to travel to Unical in Cross River for her NYSC posting letter when she got to know as I called them to meet us at where I parked, she was very angry and I asked her why and she said she doesn’t like to join her business with others. I didn’t mind her, I carried them and dropped them off at Ojuelegba before heading to AKTC and on the way I asked her how it would’ve looked like to have left them behind when we were going to the same location


I dropped her and she told me she can take care of herself so I left and went straight to my mechanic for the servicing of my bus so I came back home later in the day and to my surprise my room door was not locked so I pushed the door only to see her lying down on my rug. I was shocked. I won’t say what she asked me to do. She said her luggage is at AKTC bus terminal and on the following day she left for Uyo
November 23 she celebrated her birthday
She later on informed me about her property at where she rented a house before she went for her NYSC she went on to narrate how she is owing her landlord 27k and she has to clear that debt before she would be allowed to move her property. I send her 30k and the mum called me later to tell me that first thing the following day they will go and clear the debt and pack their load.
After xmass and new year
In January 2017 she opted to come so I send her transport fare
The day she came I went to wait for her at the AKTC bus terminal and on her arrival I sneaked to collect her luggage from behind and when she turned to see me, she was very angry and I asked her why she is behaving that way or can’t I play with her? She did not utter any word rather she was staring and one man whom she later went and collected his mobile number and we left and as I was driving, I asked her who the man was and she said her Church member. As we were going she asked me how she could get to Apapa and I directed her.
When we got to my base, she call her home to inform them about her safe arrival. Thereafter they started reminding her of what she will buy for them.
The next day she told me that we have to change the doors and windows curtains and she would love to buy some plates so I gave her money but when she came back from market and showed me those curtains, they were a far cry from the money she took to the market how ever she reserved half of the curtains for her use in Uyo
More and more pressure was coming from home and she kept telling them that things are not like the last time she came
Few days later, she started feigning pregnancy and demanded we go to the hospital for pregnancy test. We went for the test and the test was carried out at 3k. When the result came out, it was negative and I left disappointed. Before I go further, she is the one that told me that she would want to be pregnant for me first and when the pregnancy is matured
I will now wed her and before anybody knows, she has put to birth.
Next information she got from home was that the mum felled and sustained injury on her legs and I told her to go and send 5k to her mum while I left for work that day and when I came back from work, she was singing a different song by telling me that the latest news from home is that her family is holding a meeting in her village and at the end of the meeting, they will share her father’s property for them. She said they can not hold that meeting without her since she was the only educated person in her family. Not quite long the mum called me and asked to find money by all means for her to return back with the promised that she will come back to Lagos as soon as they are through with the meeting.
My would be wife now start asking me for money to rent a house in Uyo so that I can lodge there with her whenever I come to Uyo she was not yet done she said if any of my family member comes in from abroad, they will lodge there(insult)
She demanded for money to make a wardrobe for her shoes and cloths I asked her why does she need all these when she will soon relocate to Lagos and she said she wants to keep her cloths away from her sisters reach besides she said she will carry it along to Lagos
As if that was not enough she wanted to go home with my second gas cylinder and I told her no
I later gave her money and a bag of rice for the family and she traveled back to Uyo
On the date she was supposed to go to the village for the meeting, I called her to find out and she told me they are already in the village for the meeting and l hanged the call and call her mother only for the mother to tell me they are yet to go for the meeting. It was there I sense fowl play.
Friday 20 January 2017 she requested for data and I told her I’ll get back to her on Saturday 21 so in the morning I went to get money for her and on my way, she flashed me and I stopped to call her back. I was on that call with her when a sienna Toyota car veered off the road to come and smashed into my bus and condemned my bus
I sustained neck and leg injury and got evacuated to our hospital by my colleague Uwem. I did not send her the card on the day until I left the hospital. I didn’t inform her about the accident reason best known to me but later, I sent her the airtime and data
We did not talk for sometimes and if I chat with her,she will be on line but she will not respond to my chats but I kept on greeting her
After sometimes I called her and we talked and before I hanged up she said guess what imaima and I asked her what was it and she said I should send her money to come that she was pregnant and I asked her if she had confirmed it medically and she said yes so I told her I would want my sister to accompany her to a medical lab for a fresh test for me to believe her and she got angry telling me if she is a baby. At that stage I called my sister to informed her about what was going on and my sister advised me not to give her any more money.
Later she called me and agreed to go for the test with my sister but she said if the test shows that she is pregnant that she was going to abort the pregnancy so with that threat she issued at me, I was scared of loosing that very innocent baby so I now agreed to send her money without my sister knowing.
We started negotiating how much she would need and how much I will send. I agreed to send 10k and she insisted on 20k I said why and she said she was hungry of eating OTTO MBORO she said she was going to buy plenty un ripe banana for the Otto MBORO and i fell into her trap even when my colleague had warned me not to send her even the transport. I said to myself, I love this girl and it is not good to allow her to suffer so instead of 20k I decided to send to her 15k and for hours she didn’t acknowledge so I called her and asked if she had seen the money and she said yes and followed up with a thank you. Before now, she had sent me a picture of her pretending to be pregnant.
I later on called to ask how she was preparing for the trip but could not reach her anymore. Later in the evening she called me with a strange number and told me she went to AKTC for booking against the next day and along the line, she lost her phone that I should send her small money for her to buy a small torchlight phone and I told her to use her mum’s phone and she shouted at me saying if I want her to carry her sims along without phone as if the person that stole her phone had to remove the sims and give her before going with the phone. She ceased to come on air so I told my colleague and he said we should watch that no one had stolen her phone and he said before Valentine day, February 14 she will surely come on air and behold few days to Valentine, she came on air. She chatted and this time pregnancy issues was never discussed anymore.
In May 2017 I traveled home and she saw it on my post the picture i took at the airport and she knew I was in Uyo
Few days later I called her and asked to direct me to their house and she asked to join me at where I was and I told her Ikot Ekpene even though i was in Uyo. I asked her why she wouldn’t want me to see her mum and she said nothing and that was it till I finished my leave and return to resumed work.
Then come Sunday 6th August 2017 when i went through my WhatsApp chats, i stumbled on her profile picture or dp I checked and the picture did not resemble her brother so I saved the picture and send it to her questioning who the man was, instead of her to respond, she quickly changed it to her picture. So I called her and said I want to know her current stand with me and she told me she is at a reception and will call me back which she never did and when I called her and express anger, she went and blocked me on Facebook. I send her a message on WhatsApp to unblocked me otherwise I will let the cat out of the bag and when she refused to unblocked me, I decided to let the cat out of the bag.

Popular writer Penocraft, has however replied Kingsley, who accused her of sending nudes and asking him for sex, and here’s what she wrote;

Veteran Nigerian singer, Charly Boy, who joined a protest in Abuja calling for President Buhari's resignation or return to the country, was shot with water canons and tear gas canisters alongside others during the protest.

Former PDP youth leader, Deji Adeyanju, who took to Twitter to share the video further alleged that a Silverbird TV staff was injured and has been taken to the Federal Staff clinic in Abuja.

The All Progressives Congress Youth Vanguard has reacted to singer, CharlyBoy’s move to lead a protest calling for President Buhari’s resignation.

According to the group in a statement signed by its leader, Collins Edwin, Charlyboy should stop making ‘senseless noise’ because governance is not entertainment.

Here’s the statement;
‘The planned protest against President Muhammadu Buhari by a coalition of civil society groups led by Charly Boy has come to the notice of the national leadership of APC Youths Renaissance.
Ordinarily, we would have dismissed the move knowing that Charly Boy is an incurable attention-seeker, but because he cleverly laced his mercantile show-business in President Buhari’s health challenge, we have decided to educate the political dissident that governance is not entertainment.
President Buhari has just spent few days receiving medical attention and Charly Boy and his dubious sponsors are making senseless noise about it, what about a former American President who ruled America in the midst of greater health challenge yet Americans never gave a hoot about it.

Account of an alleged Ozubulu Church Attack eyewitness has reportedly gone viral, as it claims that the gunmen who stormed the church never spoke Igbo, contrary to Police report. 

According to the eyewitness, the gunmen who killed the worshippers wore army uniforms and here's what she said;

"We all were in the church during the 6am morning mass today, we saw two cars that drove into the church; because it was a Church premises we over looked it and we considered them to be people that came for morning mass(service). But to the surprise of everyone, the car halted at the center of the gate, meaning you cannot close the gate, since it is open already.

"The driver came out of the car pretending he was fixing a problem; so everyone still ignored the drama happening outside the premises.

"Suddenly, some men came out from the car, fully armed, all in Army uniform. I was lucky because I was sitting at the back, just beside the door, but I was clearly seeing what was happening. The sky was cloudy and everywhere seemed dark; no one saw what they were carrying, whether it was gun, but surely they were fully equipped.

"They immediately rushed to the front door. I was too lucky to jump the fence, but before I had jumped, I heard gun shot everywhere in the building. They obstructed the front gate, because for women that is their only route to escape. That was why women were killed more than men. Children were killed as well, many were seriously injured.

"After I had escaped, I started making calls to link my church members who were in the church, but they were not picking up; not knowing they were dead already.

The gun men were not igbos, because their language were not igbo, the government should stop lying, I heard they said That, they gun Men were flashing touch light on us, but it a lie, because the whole church was so lighted that even from outside you will see who is inside. Even at that, if they were really flashing touch light to know who is their target, those that were killed, are they their target.

Like I said before and I will say it again, I was at the back door, I saw all that happened, they were with Army uniform, face covered, standing at the Front door, holding their trigger, and shooting at anything that moves.

When the police came, I was waiting for them to ask questions of what happened, so that I will explain, but they were busy taking pictures of the dead ones, without knowing the fact

"Not too long after they had gone, I went back to the church. I was shocked with what I saw; my Mother was lying dead! Many people were unconscious but later succumbed to death.

"After about one hour of the killings, the Police arrived the church. Two hours later, the Governor, Willie Obiano arrived too. Everyone was shocked, wandering how the perpetrators stormed in Army uniform. Questions began to arise: "Who gave them the Army uniform?" Who gave them the Army car?"
Surely jihad is here, and everyone have to defend him/her self.

A woman who still survived the mayhem said, "All I could remember is that I was sitting at the front when some people in Army uniform invaded the Church and started shooting at everyone. They just held the trigger and fired at everyone they sighted. I managed to hide under the seat but was shot in the leg.

"A boy was shot in head, his brain bursted, and blood spilled everywhere - even at my face."

Nollywood Actress turned Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi has taken to Instagram to write an epistle to couples who engage in illicit affairs instead of spicing up their romance with their partner. 

According to Eucharia, instead of complaining  'call your spouse and talk things over  and teach each other what and how you like it.' Here's what she wrote;

A former Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Isaac Nduka Eya, has been reportedly kidnapped according to multiple reports. 

His kidnap has however been confirmed by Enugu State Police Relations Officer, PPRO, Ebere Amaraizu, who disclosed that the former Resident Electoral Commissioner in Anambra State was abducted with his driver on Thursday, August 3, 2017. 

His abductors reportedly stormed his residence at Independence Layout, Enugu when his wife , Prof Regina Eya, was away and abducted him him alongside his driver. It was also gathered that the kidnappers called her, demanding a N15 million ransom.

Following the abduction of their two kids who are yet to be freed by their apprentice on November 28, 2016, the family of four-year-old Farouk and six-year-old Kafayat, have been thrown into confusion. 

According to the Father of the missing kids, Fatai Azeez, Austin who denied vehemently of abducting her boss' kids after she was arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos, added to their distress as the SARS officers told the family to forget about the children as Austin had been released.

It was also gathered that the mother of the kids, Suliat, was taken back to her hometwon in Oyo State as she had since the incident attempted suicide 2 times, and recently tried that again by taking Sniper.

The suspect Austin who presented herself as Grace John to the family, resumed as an apprentice at Suliat's hairdressing workshop in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos on a Thursday, and disappeared with the children same day while their mother was away.

Things took a bad turn when  she sold off a  certain child identified as Oluwasemilore, daughter of a bead artist with whom she was working as an apprentice. The child had allegedly  been adopted as the last buyer’s daughter when Austin was arrested in Badagry.

With no news of her kids, Suliat sunk into depression.

Fatai said, 
“Since that time, she could not bring herself to understand how she could lose two children in a day. The first attempt was when she was just throwing herself on the floor and smashed a stool on her own head. She picked a knife and was about to stab herself when people restrained her.
“Shortly afterwards, she wrote a suicide note with a knife by her side. People were, however, able to take the knife from her. When I could no longer bear it, I asked that she be sent to her village in Oyo State for proper care. When there was no one around, she drank Sniper. She has not regained her health since that time.”

“I called and begged him to use all means to get the girl to confess where she kept my children, but he said the girl denied abducting the kids.
“Later, when I called to know what was going on, he said he had already taken the matter to court. When I asked for the name of the court, he said he never told me he took her to court. He appears to have been compromised.”

The Nigerian creative industry, has been granted ‘Pioneer Status’ or tax break  in a landmark move aimed at transforming the industry to a creative economy and creating jobs.

This was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed. According to him, the decision to grant the industry ‘Pioneer Status’ is in fulfillment of the promise made by the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, represented by the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, at the opening of the Creative Industry Financing Conference in Lagos 17-18 July 2017.

The ‘Pioneer Status’ is granted to companies making investments in qualifying industries and products as tax holiday, from the payment of corporate income tax and withholding tax on dividend from pioneer profits for an initial period of three years, extendable for one or two additional years. 

This is coming after the Minister reportedly told Nigerian musicians and movie producers, to stop movie and music video production abroad.

A debate on whether it's good for women to change their pad in front of their male kids has ensued, after a little boy drew a photo of his mum on her period after she changed her pad in front of him

Penny Rohleder who got the painting from her 5-year-old son Julian, asked him why there was red on her and she said his answer had her in hysterics.

"What's that red thing on me?" she asked.

"That's your period," the innocent boy answered.

The mum who found it funny wrote on Facebook;

"Oh this is so funny. Julian drew a family portrait (forgot Mayanna and Arlyn) but I said to him "what's that red thing on me?" He said "that's your period". Bahahahhahahahahshahahaha"

Penny, from New South Wales, later told Metro:

"When I first saw the drawing and realised that it included my period, I was in hysterics. It was such an innocent, honest thing for a young child to come out with.

"I shared it because it was funny, but I was also proud that my five year old knows what a period is, when some fully grown men do not. It's such a taboo subject for many adults, especially men. Women too, are embarrassed about their bodies and I have absolutely no idea why."

After Penny shared the photo, a number of people thought it was amusing but there were also a lot of people who thought it was inappropriate for Penny to have changed her pad in front of her young children, and this started a debate.

Penny became ill with a pulmonary embolism just before her youngest son was born, so she was put on blood thinning treatment. Blood thinners make one's period really heavy and messy and this means sometimes, her children get to see that side of her, especially Julian, who has always shown concern for his mother's health.

She said: "Many people have commented that it's not a normal thing for me to change my pad or tampon in front of my kids, but when you’re on blood thinners and get your period, it can be horrific and very messy and urgent. I can’t help that. We have one toilet in our house, and what else was I supposed to do, bleed everywhere? It's a topic I guess that came up with my kids out of necessity I guess."

Penny's kids are already used to seeing her on her period and they see it as the normal body function it is. It doesn't make them uncomfortable.
