Foreign Affairs / Re: Israeli Army Says It Finds Tunnel, Weapons At Gaza's Al Shifa Hospital by joyandfaith: 8:36am On Nov 17, 2023
God1000:
This is propaganda just to deceive the credulous and justify the brutal invasion of Gaza and the massacre of babies.

Underground tunnels are built in big hospitals all over the world for emergency use, as for those weapons, I don't trust Israeli military, why will Hamas leave weapons behind knowing fully well that Israel will use it to build a case against them?

The human tragedy that is unfolding in Gaza is heart-wrenching and Israel won't go unpunished.

UN should consider sending the protection force to Gaza immediately.

I stand with the people of Palestine

Who will punish isreal?
Which country is a major sponsor of UN?
Gazans have three options-leave gaza, fight hamas or join hamas to fight isreal. Hamas made wrong move.

You need a new pair of glasses.
The thought that president Tinubu will be a pushover is what most of you banked on but now eating your Iyan in Isu, ask the Niger coupists. The only reason president Tinubu is even visiting some places is to find money to run his govt.

Problem with comprehension. I repeat he would struggle to rule. You guys are blind to see it. Nobody would respect someone with history of drug trafficking, a very offence that attracts death penalty in a number of countries. Dey deceive yourself..Do you think he is happy naira is loosing value at alarming rate? Do you think he is happy about the skyrocketting inflation? He has lost it. How many of his ministers have international recognition? Yes Ali Pate of Health. Do you think Yemi cardodo and Edun have international recognition? Dey play.

The President as GCFR wears two hats and this has been argued and defended by late constitutional lawyer and Elderstatesman, Prof Ben Nwabueze.

The President is the head of the Executive and Head of the 3 arms of government and 3 tiers of govt. He has no contemporary. That power doesn't exist at the state level. It will be very weak whataboutism to compare and equate the power Buhari exercised to that of one Governor out of 36.

Read your constitution very well. Nigeria is a federation.

He can not suspend a Chief Judge. Only NJC can. This was how problem started in some states leading to serious issues. I think Cross Rivers was one of such states.

I expect NJC to react very very soon or immediately to avoid any confusion because that his 'Acting Chief Judge' may not be accepted by NJC. If that man accepts that appointment from Gov Jackson Adeleke, he may even land in trouble with NJC. Check my signature for free stuffs!
suspend not sack. President Buhari suspended Onnogen indefinitely before he resigned.

i did not vote for Tinubu and I never wanted him but that is imaterial because we are stuck with him. All we can do for now is give him every support we can and tolerate him for as long as possible until God intervanes. This is our country and unfortunately there is no other one. Biafra has not come. Oduduwa never get head. Arewa kwantili nko, it didn't dey. Even ndi Ikwerre na ndi ekwero node see their period again.

Na only Nigeria we have now and na Tinubu be the president.

Tinubu would struggle to rule. Most world leaders would either disassociate from him or manipuate him diplomatically to get what they want.

The only reason workers complied with this strike is to save transport money to work. What is even the aim/ target of this strike sef?

The strike could have been more effective if it was declared moment Tinubu floated the naira and removed subsidy.

You did not say this during oshiomolw-led nlc strike. You didn't say this during subsidy strike of 2012. Do you kmow why you didn't say anything? Because people in powers now sponsored strike action then.

The government is absolutely on the right path.

Nigeria was on its knees and on the verge of collapse.

Tough decisions needed to be taken. Mr Tinubu took it and did so decisively. Brilliant.

Petrol Subsidy gone - one of the best decisions taken by any Nigerian president for at least 25 years.

Without that decision, this country was heading for bankruptcy, the consequence of which would have been worse that where we are today.

Just like Abacha was on the right paths in the hindsight.

Same Policy almost cost him his election, with Emefiele sabotaging the economy

Should we also blame Tinubu for the decision Buhari and Emefiele made without FEC approval to redesign Naira

.

Who said subsidy is gone? Who floated the naira? Who is buying yatch? Who is 1,5B naira vehicles for the first lady?

ENDTIMEISNEAR:
Breaking : Atiku Urges PDP, LP, NNPP, SDP, Others To Merge, Wrestle Power From APC .

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has warned against the likelihood of Nigeria slipping to becoming a one-party state.
The former Vice President made the remarks on Tuesday when he hosted the national executive committee of the Inter-Party Advisory Council Nigeria (IPAC).

According to the former Vice President, “the project of protecting democracy in our country is not about just one man.
“You have come here today to say that we should cooperate in order to promote democracy.
“But the truth of the matter is that our democracy is fast becoming a one-party system; and, of course, you know that when we have a one party system, we should just forget about democracy.”

Atiku further tasked the leadership of IPAC, led by its national president, Yabagi Sani, on the need for the opposition political parties to come together and create a more formidable front that will salvage Nigeria’s democracy from sliding into a one-party state.

“We have all seen how the APC is increasingly turning Nigeria into a dictatorship of one party. If we don’t come together to challenge what the ruling party is trying to create, our democracy will suffer for it, and the consequences of it will affect the generations yet unborn,” Atiku said.
He further chided the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting the worst ever general election in the country.

“The Independent National Electoral Commission conducted the worst general election in the country.
“Recently again in the off-season election in three states, INEC doubled down on its disregard for the tenets of our democracy.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission conducted the worst general election in the country.

“Recently again in the off-season election in three states, INEC doubled down on its disregard for the tenets of our democracy.
We all can see how INEC declared a result in Kogi State where the total number of votes cast is higher than the total number of accredited voters in one local government.

“We cannot have a healthy democracy in an environment where all INEC does is to deliver the ruling party at all cost.
“That is also why I will urge you all, to appeal to lawmakers of the various opposition parties in the National Assembly to sponsor legislation that will advance the course of the constitutional and electoral reforms agenda that I shared in my recent press conference.

The issue of electronic voting must be the urgent priority of the National Assembly because countries that are far less advanced as Nigeria are already doing it.

Lawyers are brains behind electoral chaos in Nigeria. They are making serious money from electoral litigation. Ask Afe Babalola. Judges are also benefitting from this. I think candidates or parties should stop seeking redress in court for either pre or postelection matters. Lawyers have key to free this country.

Peter Obi has followers predominately of Igbos, NIGER/DELTA, ENDSARZ domostrators "The Lagos is no man's landers" and south south followers ,Yoruba christian and middle belt christians for a fact that main contestants of 2023 election were Atiku and Tinubu that are Muslims.
What will be the next Agenda for Peter Obi? How will he stay relevant in Nigerian politics till 2027? The answer is he will never be relevant after 2023 presidential election. 2023 will be his best and last election of his life time.

1 He will continue propagandas before 2027 against Tinubu government as an opposition to get more attentions, empathy, sympathy and monetary funds contributions from especially Igbo, Bini, Esan people for coming third in the election in which most Nigerian thinks he will be fourth. He will never learn any good lesson from Good luck Jonathan.

2. After a year Peter Obi will retry to decamp to the PDP but fail horribly in his aspirations to grasp the PDP presidential ticket. He will decamp to another party to contest presidency again.

3. The eventual winner of the PDP presidential tickets will be an Hausa politician Northerner most favoured) that will want to nominate him to merge with Peter Obi as his Vice president to attracts Igbo 3 million votes and demonstrators votes.

4 The Northern presidential candidate plus Peter Obi will go into the election with Tinubu but Asiwaju the Jagaban will beome victorious by landslides. What a flawless and easy victory will it be in 2027 APC. cheesy grin

God bless Nigeria grin grin

It means you a great person when people keep talking about you. Obi is a great man. Awolowo and Abiola failed to become President because system worked against them. Obi is in that category. He can never be President.. One of the worst candidates would always emerge winner in any election.
