Celebrities / Re: Seun Jimoh Supports Tiwa Savage: A Successful Woman Must Cook, Clean For Her Man by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 9:43pm On Oct 05, 2017
Gender equality isn't about marriage. Its about giving the female child the same opportunities given to a male child. And the woman cooking for the man is not because she is beneath him but because its her role. The man has his roles to fulfil too.

Career / When You Work With Teachers by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 11:49am On Feb 07, 2017
Teaching is an honourable profession but am sorry to say that not all teachers are honourable. Human relationship isn't easy but the most difficult people to relate with may be teachers. The problem is just "their mindset."
How can someone think the world revolves around her. Everything anyone else does is about her. If you talk to her - you are mocking her.
If you don't talk to her - you are too proud.
If you talk to someone else - you are discussing her.
If you look at her - you are monitoring her.
If she sees you with the head - you are reporting her.

Is it low mentality, negative mindset, stagnant growth or what
I need answers pleaseeeee
Career / What Really Excites You by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 7:42am On Dec 19, 2016
I came across this quote last night, "the things that excite you are not random. They are connected to your purpose. Follow them." So I woke up this morning thinking, 'what really excites me?' Without bias, I started writing down the truth. (I really need to because we are gonna be in a fresh year soon).
Firstly, getting and sharing knowledge excite me. That explains a lot of things about me; my love for books and quotes, my love for 'Digging Deep' back in school, my love for 'Integrity Worship Center' during youth service, my friendship with the man who is now my hubby, my love for Joyce Meyer, David Ibiyeomie, Sam Adeyemi and the like, my past job, my present career and my enjoyment of social media which is the biggest platform for receiving and sharing information.
Secondly, beauty excites me. I get excited by all things beautiful. I want to be friends with beautiful people, behold the beauty of nature, eat beautiful food and snacks, go to beautiful places, look at beautiful designs and pictures, own beautiful pieces and have all things around me beautiful.
Lastly, I always say that life should be simple and exciting. I am not a complex kind of person. I get excited by other normal everyday things that excite everybody; mind blowing movies, holidays, laughter, friendship, but most of all, amazing songs.

Education / Re: Am Totally Confuse. Please Advice Me.. Microbiology Or Biology!!! by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 8:58pm On Dec 12, 2016
I think you should look at what you want to do after graduation.
If u want to work in a health institution or laboratories, choose microbiology.
If u want to teach, get involved with environmental services, botany, fishery, choose biology.
But if u don't want to be any of the above, but will take any job like sales rep, office admin, etc just choose the one you feel you can pass well.
Check their course outline or go to the schools and inquire. Remember what is easy for A may not be easy for B.

In every organization, there is a head. In marriage, the husband is. But in life, we were born the same. You don't go on the road looking for girls to subdue bc u were born with a joystick u didn't contribute anything to. If u hv a female superior at the office and u respect her then u support feminism.

Seems you are baring yourself open in this case,Because with the way you wrote it, something is wrong, why not put it that "some" Nigerians

1.I always share my experience, Good or bad because I have good people around me.

2. I don't pretend to be who I am not,I don't ...

3. I don't allow myself to be overshadowed or intimidated by other people's facts once they are my age mates, friends and not over sabi sabi

low ba3 babe...
If you do a research, you can't draw your conclusion from the minority but from the majority. i am sure you know i don't mean every Nigerian. But in the case of experience, i once heard a white couple share openly on TV how their marriage survived after the wife cheated. The wife was freely telling the story..... CAN YOU DO THAT IN NIGERIA WITHOUT PEOPLE LEAVING THE MESSAGE TO TALK ABOUT YOUR INIQUITY AND ABUSE YOU ON TOP.
Culture / 10 Reasons Why You Can’t Know The Lifestyle Of Nigerians by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 3:00pm On Sep 11, 2016
1. They don’t share their experiences, especially the bad ones

2. They pretend a lot

3. When they are with a group of people who believe in a particular thing, they won’t express their own view, rather they will manufacture stories about themselves that will make them fit into the popular opinion

4. They only tell you what you are interested in

5. They judge everything and because no one wants to be judged, they keep a lot to themselves

6. For every issues in Nigeria you are expected to support either party A or B, so you can’t freely bring up your own part

7. Nobody believes any story that sounds too good. We always say, “too good to be true,” so what’s the need of telling a story when no one will believe you

8. Our mindset is “unchangeable.” Everything has a label and it’s unacceptable to talk when you want to say otherwise

9. If it doesn’t apply to me then it’s a lie. E.g, because I graduated from the university at 21, I will never believe anybody graduated at 19.

10. In Nigeria, some things are not just mentioned, even when everybody knows it’s the truth

Family / Becoming A Better You: Choices by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 10:34pm On Aug 29, 2016
When you wake up in the morning and you don't feel like going to work, you will remember the consequences, get up and get going. That's how life is generally. There are a lot of things you need to do which you will not feel like doing. You just have to make a choice. Make a choice to do what you are supposed to do no matter how you feel. I want you to know that you are not always going to feel cool about your job, business, career or ministry. You will sometimes feel like not reading, writing or going to church. If you are still searching to find that 'thing' you will always have fun doing, you might just be wasting your time. Anybody that said you shouldn't be in a job that you don't wake up every morning excited to rush to, lied. The excitement, the fun, the commitment and all depend on the choice you make. Grow up, decide what you want out of life and make choices everyday that will get you the life you desire.

Family / Learning How To Become Better Everyday 3 by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 3:04pm On Aug 14, 2016
I have always wanted a quiet and impact making life. And I have come to a point in my life where I have to accept reality. You may still not accept my reality as an actual reality but it’s left for you to find yours. I have put a lot in acquiring certain skills which have helped me at one point or the other. I have put my energy, time and resources in certain businesses and was bent on making money of my own. But the reality is, these things won’t bring me the future I dream of. In the area where I live, there are lots of businesses. I desire to own a business which will stand out among the rest. Its not going to be something out of the ordinary or something different, its just going to be unique. I know you will advise me to start somewhere so I can save money little by little. I teach and that’s the only thing suitable for my life right now. In fact I will love to continue teaching even after getting the desired business.
So since am done trying to design things (which I don’t even need) and am done trying to sell stuff online (which makes me lose the little money I have), I decided to do other things I enjoy like, listening to songs (Frank Edward is still the best), listening to messages (Joyce Meyer and Sam Adeyemi are my favorite people), watching movies, reading books and becoming more dedicated in church. So when I come back from school, instead of stressing myself up thinking or trying to make things that may fetch me money, I just relax and do the things I love. Now, ask me how it will pay me. It’s not paying money neither does other things I was busy doing. But my life has been transformed. I become better every day from the information I get, I enjoy more peace, my brain is more relaxed to write this and indirectly, I am making the impact I desire.

Family / Learning How To Become Better Everyday 2 by JoyceMeyersFan(f): 8:36pm On Aug 12, 2016
I want to write about courage today. Courage can be shown in different ways but, one thing generally accepted by all and sundry is that a courageous person is fearless. Fear is a very dangerous trait and if you don't deal with it, you can't become better than you were yesterday.
We are confronted by fear at every moment in life. Fear may keep you from being who you were created to be because you don't want criticism. Fear may keep you in bondage as you keep trying to live just to please people. Fear may take away your values when you keep compromising because you can't stand firm on your believe. Fear may keep you from achieving great things because you can't afford to take a risk.
How do we handle fear so we can became what we want to be?
1. Guard you heart: battles are fought and won in the mind. The devil or even people who think they mean well will come to attack your mind. Guard you heart and refuse to let them win.
2. Know your God and trust in Him: people who do not have hope easily give in to despair. If you know God, your hope will be in Him and you are going to trust Him. You can only be afraid of what is greater than you, but why should i fear when nothing is bigger than my God

The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday. I have so many programs i manage and one of them is a personal campaign to get better everyday. Today i want you to know something i learnt about argument.
People say i argue a lot. When i say people i mean close kith and kin because i hardly talk to people i am not close to. Growing up, my parents sang it as a song "you argue a lot." But hearing it all the time didn't make the statement more palatable. Each time i hear it, i feel so bad and something dies in me. To me i don't argue, its either we are just discussing or am just trying to explain a point i think you haven't gotten clearly, but all these people can't be wrong.
The worst part is that i become aggressive when the argument hits up and scream on top of my voice. I always feel ashamed and broken at the end of it all. Sometimes i end up hurting the other party which makes it all messed up. So knowing that winning an argument doesn't make you feel better and that things may go out of hand and get you screaming, its better you avoid getting into an argument by letting the other party express his/her view than present your own view in form of a question.
Example: you used a certain method to run a program at work and you believe the method didn't give you the best result, but your colleague feels the method should be continued with. you have to let him/her express his/her mind and say why the method should be continued with, then ask a question like, "are you satisfied with the result we got from the previous one?"
The mind works faster and better than you can imagine. He/she will figure it out more than he/she would have if you had started an argument. While arguing, nobody tries to understand the other, they only try to express their own view.
