To me the plan is good. But just like he pointed out, it's not really the best having to pass through the living room to access the kitchen.

Then another thing you might want to consider is having a separate toilet for visitors

1. Why is that guest room door facing the main entrance door. What happens to the privacy of the occupant of that room?

2. The dining, is it a passage or what? The distance between the lounge and the dining is something else.

3. That long passage has no window
4. The visitors' toilet; I personally don't understand why a toilet should open to a public area. Mind you, not everybody knows how to use the toilet. I would personally conceal it from public view.

5. Another issue of concern to me is the accessibility of the staircase. Do you really have to enter the bedroom before climbing the stairs and while coming down, you enter the room first

Note: Am not an architect and would like our architects to put me right.

Secondly, what determines the strength of a duplex. Is it how deep the foundation is that matters or the columns that matters?

there are experts that can spot the difference. You can bring one along to our nursery farm. I'm not bragging but I'm one of the very few in the western part of the country that sells authentic supergene oilpalm seedlings.

That's another challenge there because physical inspection is impossible here because of distance.

supergene is different. It gives better yield, it's dwarf, starts fruiting within 2 years. Supergene is tenera that was worked upon to give better results.

And that's where the problem lies because when someone pays for the Supergene, he may end up being supplied the Tenera

Black crockery. The difference I'd say is insignificant. Because of their purchasing price difference, I'll go for black crockery.

The better option would have been noilers, they have more carcass than white and black crockery, but the carton comes with both male and females and the females don't grow as big as the males. But you'd get good eggs from the females

Their difference is only in their prices and coloration. They grow at same rate and almost same maximum weight gain.
The white crockery is the male of Isa brown. It's low demand made it so cheap compared to the female.
I don't know the breed the black crockery belongs to

While the brown crockery should be rhode island red

Mine is isolated from the rest of the house and can only be assessed from the anteroom. I believe your guest should not have unhindered access to the rest of the house.

You are on point. All of them are the same. One of their tricks is when you tell them another person's quoted sqm, they will reduce their own a bit to get the job. They can NEVER tell you the actual measurement. But if am using stone coated, I won't call anybody to measure anything for me. I will just be buying it in bits just like asbestos or zinc. If after using the ones I bought and it's not enough, I will go and buy again. It hurts to see these guys cut of your throat on a job you will still pay them for.

my dear roofing stage is a very big challenging stage in building. I would have liked to see the floor plan of the house, the roof plan(if any) and then the quotation given to you. If I see these, we can rob minds together and estimate the likely number of woods you should be looking at.

i will like to ask question as regards Cameroon Zinc ......how much is it in the market ........and whats the difference between it and Aluminium ..how did you go about getting the exact woods for the building ...i recieve a qoutation which i seems to be too much for me and am looking for way to reduce cost.

My humble advice is this; don't wait until you have the whole money before you start. And don't listen to those carpenters coz they will like you to pack all the woods in the timber market and drop for them to be wasting them as if it was not your sweat. Don't buy the whole woods at once and then you have to keep a very sharp eye on them. Then coming to the roofing sheets, if you have the the time and the brain, go for aluminium coz it's not as expensive as those theives called roofers make people to believe
