I am in the same shoes, my spouse applied, did his biometrics in August nothing since then.

IOM charges 28k,u pay to dia Scb account and come with the teller,u need to schedule an appointment though.

Hmm,my own course has only September intake so its either I start d whole process again for another school against June or I defer till September next yr. My school has been sending me mails for course registration,yet here I am,jst hanging.so many plans have been suspended as alot depends on this Visa o.anyway God dey,its not a do or die for me,let them just respond any how they want so I can move ahead jare. All the best to all trv hopefuls we shall hear no evil

I get yur pooint sir especially for online routers that haven't done medicals...the whole PP request,pp collectionn, medical request, medcal passed stage na like 2weeks on its own.

Paper routers with upfront medicals would have less fears.

I think these people know this it and they will speed up at d right time..

@Minnietope, pls how did you get the scholarship?I would not mind getting one, I went through the scholarships options on their website, it seems scholarships are only available for research based courses. I am doing an Msc in Computing and data analytics with internship option(8 months internship,8 months course work) not research. Do you have any info for non-research based scholarship

@jpepper I got into the sch last year and was even given part scholarship, i believe it is an ok sch, i am no longer attending the sch cos i needed to defer and i was informed to reapply that they will not defer the admission.

My dad is my sponsor, dependants would be 3, my mum and my two younger ones. Its a government owned school, I checked online. for the SOA, I would also be presenting my SOA, about 1.5 plus a land worth 1 mil

1) Have heard abt st marys bfor, a frnd wanted to apply there but late changed to anoda sch still on ontario, just b sure d sch is a govt owned sch,cos dose private schools can close up anytime
2) Thats not an issue, u can always renew at ottawa
3) Who is ur sponsor, and how many dependants does he have?

1.No one here has mentioned Saints Marys University.Seems people are not interested in the school. Any particular reason for this?I ask because studying abroad is a huge investment and I no wan enter one chance with a bad school ooo.I do not know anyone in the school else I would have asked for their experience. I would appreciate any useful info I can get

2. My passport expires march 2017, my msc program is scheduled to end December 2016. Should I desire to stay back and work if I am lucky to get a job. Will this expiry date be a hindrance?Do I need to get a new international passport?

3.How much is required in my sponsors SOA to get a student Visa?My school fees is $32000 excluding accommodation and feeding, and I have two younger ones.

Hey,tnx for responding, am to resume in September by Gods grace,saint marys university. The finance bit is scary though esp wit ds exchange rate issues. I am also a bit skeptical about the school,educational standard nd all.was hoping someone in canada can provide insights
