No offence but your food is always so dry and blah. You don't cook stew for your husband and kids?

Well you were told to do a PGD that they offer in their school(a university). That's exactly what I'm saying. Why didn't they suggest u go do it at some college? The best thing for Bachelor holders with 2.2 is to call the school just like you did and they will let them know how to upgrade to be qualified for a masters degree. I'm still looking for that college in Canada whose PGD can be used as an upgrade into a masters program. If you find one please let me know. I'm not saying it doesn't exist but I haven't come across one
Good conversation. A lot of people here always talk about doing a pgd in order to upgrade to a Masters. Can you do a pgd at a College then later do a Masters at a University?

I'm surprised some of you are making a jest of the situation. Rittyben, go to the school. The fact that they quarreled is enough for you to go. Find out what's happening between your child and the other boy. If no one here cares about your son, you do. Keep being an active parent in your little boy's life. You deserve to know what's going on, how to make things better for him at School.

Mr op, sorry for your predicament, this is indeed a situation, no man wishes to find himself …. settling a fight btw ur wife and ur mum.
To settle this matter, you need to be objective and must not cloud your sense of judgment with emotional threats and blackmail from either party..(mum or wife)

-1st, ur mum slapped ur wife. (ur mum goofed)

-2nd ur wife retaliated, hence the fight (she goofed as well) .

Your wife has to apologize to ur mum.

then u have to point it out to ur mum that she messed up as well, by hitting ur wife(not in ur wife’s presence though)…asking her if her (ur mum) MIL ever slapped her?

Mr op, its ur family that’s in danger of disintegrating at the moment, so you have to man up and protect ur wife. Except you are of the school of thoughts that will choose ur mum over ur immediate family. (NB ur wife is urs, while ur mum is ur dads).
Goodluck!
Both should apologize to each other. The mother should apologize like the wife. Telling the wife to be the only one to apologize is promoting partiality.

aflyingbird:
why are some of y'all blaming the wife ?

OP , ur mother wanted to take the photos, but u didn't mention her wanting to print them and bring back the original. 1) ur wife had every right to prevent her from taking the photos ( they are her photos after all ), especially if there was no mention of printing. they r child dedication photos dat mean a lot to ur wife , of course she won't let anyone take them just like that . 2) ur mother had no right to slap ur wife just 'cus ur wife said she couldn't take the pictures. why hit her? she isn't ur child neither is she a little kid to be slapped anyhow. u don't put ur hands on anyone. let's be fair here : your mother initiated this fight. ur mother had her sister n friend there so of course they will take her side, ur wife is the lone ranger dat they ganged up on , but if u ask me she is the victim . they were probably looking for a fight from the start

No one is denying the fact that he is human. You need to come up with a better argument than that. There's no room for that sort of mistake in his profession. He gave Gray not one, not two, not three, but ten times the correct amount of diamorphine. Even one, two or three is terrible, as accuracy is crucial here. We're talking about people's lives and you're comparing his deadly mistake to adding excess salt, oil or water to food. What the heck?! Any so-called Doctor who is incompetent and/or confused, as he was, should either seek more education or get out of the profession.

I love both garlic and ginger and the eat them raw early in the morning.
Raw garlic burns your tongue when chewing (good thing though!), then it subsides.

To those of you saying you'll swallow it, chewing and crushing it with your teeth releases all the beneficial nutrients. You'll just be doing yourself a disfavour by swallowing it. A garlic clove isn't the same as a garlic pill (you can get these OTC) that's made to be swallowed. Why use garlic pills anyway when you can eat the real thing? I digress. Just chew the darn thing, big babies!

@1one
@All

Here's my take.

1). First off, a person who seeks a serious relationship and is opportune to meet different wannabe partners must apply some level of self discipline. If I'm in a relationship today and I break up for some reason, I enter into another and I break up the the same or almost the same reason, and then I enter another which packs up for almost the same reason (within 6 months) --- I will stop and tell myself the hard truth.
I have gotten a whole lot of things misconstrued.
I have no clear definition what I want in a Man.
There are character traits about me that I need to work on.

Personally, I recommend a minimum of four months before going into another relationship. Let this be a time when we learn, when we reflect on past mistakes and then work at making ourselves better, while gearing ourselves up for our next attempt at loving.

I for one, I have certain expectations. I believe that my expectations will not be cut off. Talking of seeking for perfection, let's face it, no one is perfect, no one.
For me, during this phase of my life, I'm learning what it means to love people despite their imperfections, to embrace people, I'm learning to define what I want, I'm learning more about my weaknesses and strengths too. I am learning how to see myself and actually live the life of a person who is full of value and worth. Trust me, I am learning.

There is a right time and season for everything under the sun.

What matters really is what we do during our waiting periods, because it'll definitely tell when the Time comes.

Having a looong laundry list is not the ish, neither is having a short one. Anything is possible. Personally, I have observed that for people who are termed as being too far reaching or high handed --- it's just a single trait or two that they look out for in a partner, if its not there, forget it!

In matters like this, I maintain that wisdom remains profitable to direct. In terms of physical attributes and tangibles....... I really do not have set expectations......but when it comes to values and the intangibles, because that is what matters most to me as a person, I'm willing to wait, and keep on with self-development while at it.

I cannot marry a person who is insensitive, who isn't open,who isn't sincere (manipulative), who has trust issues and isn't trustworthy either. If this puts me among those with loooong laundry lists, thanks, I'm fine there. smiley

I believe, I've answered the questions, albeit scantily wink

so many people on dis site try too hard to act so smart! lmaooo
