D and C is not dangerous but like any minor surgery has its side of merit and demerit. In preference to it,some practitioners may choose in for MVA for reasons own to week of pregnancy at most 1st trimester.

I think D n C abortion should be carried out for a fetus below 500g and thus certainly may fall within the first trimester, at this point in time doing it may not prove fatal.
If she chooses to have a D n C done on her,she should ensure to ask the local practitioner some of these questions:

a) When is D n C legible for a pregnancy week?
b)What are the disadvantages of this D n C?
c)What are the reasonable fatality attach to it if things go bad?
d) Will it affect my fertility,how?
e)What are the side effect of it?
f)What to do before and after the procedure?
g)Signs I should look out for in cases of shock.
h)Others.

First of all, this is the wrong place to ask about abortions.

I'm not here to judge you, at the end of the day, you and your gf have to live with the consequences of your actions. I would also rather not have you go to do some back-alley nonsense or swallow pills from an unscrupulous source. So, open your thread or... Go to the thread about Gynaecologist in the house (it is usually on the first page of the Health section), look for a Dr in your area there and ask him via pm for a consultation.

If you do decide to still not keep the baby, may I recommend you guys at least consider adoption after birth? There are plenty orphanages and people looking to adopt and that child may end up with foreign kpalli (like my cousin's) or living in a nice house in Lekki (like my friend's). I believe your conscience will sleep better at night. Because abortions are a very hard decision to make and you do feel emotionally wrecked, especially the female, for a long time. Years, not months. Adoptions, now I like those. Much easier to hand them over to an orphanage than to dump them on the road.
So much better to hand them to a loving family than to keep the baby and both of you take out your frustration on it for the next 18 years. Not everyone is cut out for this or for staying with a partner they are unsure of, in the name of "we have a baby together but I hate him/her".
