I have a question though. Is the acceptance fee compulsory for colleges despite the scholarship registration? What if one pays the acceptance fee but doesn’t get a scholarship?

There are legit online platforms that notify you on any latest scholarship all over the world. There is this one I know which is ScholarshipRegion or something. They have a WhatsApp group where they notify people but I am not advertising them or anything. There is one I use most of the time: scholars4dev.

If that's the case, then you can send the two. They will understand it's from two different schools. They just want to know your academic performance

Damian457 meant only an emergency appointment can get you an interview before September, and it must be approved. Its not automatic to get the appointment for an interview.

Hi. Sorry for the late response. The Transcript in question is the summary of results accumulated from your junior school to your senior final year. It's a commulation of those.

You can get your transcript from your secondary school. It's not your Waec result.

I need an advise with something though, I am suppose to attend a 3 days conference on September this year through scholarship. My hotel fee, lunch and others will be covered by the organization but I am requested to pay for my visa and ticket myself ensuring a reimbursement after the trip.
I am wondering if it will be a wise idea for me to go ahead with this procedure due to this questions bothering my mind.
1) What are the chances I will offered a Visa since it's a partial scholarship though I will be reimbursed?
2) Do you think the timing is already short to get anything done? I am suppose to set off for the event on 8th Of September
3) Will I be rejected due to the fact it's just a three days conference?
4) Will my rejection affect my chances I'm future?

My focus is on the school transcript now. Please can I send my WAEC transcript in place of my secondary school transcript? Thank you. Print out the proof of scholarship or funds transfer evidence and hold it.
You may have an opportunity to present it to the VO. This is more impactful than a letter.

Hello guys. I have been looking through the previous messages and have really have helpful your responses are. My question though is based on a student conference visa. If the company which hosts the events refuses to send you any letter of recommendation to attend their event but provides you with scholarship to attend, is it possible to be granted visa with out the letter of invite or recommendation letter? The only way you can make it on YouTube without having any source of audience is to make videos around the entertainment niche or comedy (but the niche is risky). Most of the popular Nigerians on YouTube either have a fanbase on Instagram (Taooma, brother shaggi etc) Facebook, Twitter or they are celebrities.

I have been on YouTube for the past 2 years and I can tell you that it takes patience, consistency and hardwork to make something out of it. Most of the niche are saturated (hair, diy, vlogs etc) and getting ranked via SEO is no joke. The struggle continues after getting monetized because you get low pay per views.

If you want to start your channel, I’ll advice you to be:
1. Be patient
2. Stick to one niche
3. Do what you love doing, else you will run out of content to create. (It’s good to be talented or unique if you want to make it on YouTube)
4. Do not use other people’s content, you might get a strike. YouTube don’t joke with copyright.
5. Check out
-Itunu pepper on YouTube, she is a Nigerian and make music cover videos ( tho the niche is not profitable).
-Presh okosi, she makes dance video and tutorial. She is partly ghanian and Nigerian.
-Sisi yemmie tv too, she creates videos about food. You can also check out bilikis signature (Contents on fashion)

I just feel YouTubing in Nigeria is based on a particular Genre like comedy, movies, musical videos and rarely sports. Anyone doing reaction videos or Reality shows, or gaming are just so rare to find and no one wants to watch anyone that has started it. Foreigners do too well in those genre.

I have realized that there are less YouTubers in Nigeria. Those who make it in YouTube here are Celebrities. Is there a way one can make it in youtubing despite not being a celebrity? Why do other countries make it easily and not us?
