Nairaland General › Re: 29 Killed In Potiskum-Kano Road Accident by juman(m): 4:14pm On Sep 01, 2012
The crash was the latest tragedy to befall travellers on Nigeria's perilous roads, plagued with accidents due to a combination of reckless driving, overloading and poor maintenance.
The blame goes to the government.

No proper monitoring of the road users was the main cause of accident, there are always overloading and reckless driving because the road are good and the cities are far apart and there is little check and balance on the roads.

I remember speeding of over 140km/hr are always commonplace in the north. One day I travelled from Wukari to Jalingo, the driver speed was over 190km/hr.

It's obvious he committed offence.

Jonathan said Nnaji gave way because he had interests in the ongoing privatisation.
This was the offence he committed.

olivertwist: Shut your big trap Mr. Foolish man. You destroyed all what could have been your greatest achievements as a president, the day you impose the sick Yaradua & incompetent GEJ on us, all for your selfish reasons.

I hope you are happy and smiling and 'dey kampe' with all what is happening in the country, 95% of which is caused by you.

mkmyers45: This assesment is definitely not correct...on what concrete basis was this assesment made...So Jigawa is more developed than Adamawa - Land of Beauty? SMH angry angry
I also don't think the assessment was right, but I don't think Gov. Murtala Nyako is doing good job.

He suppose to see himself as an elder governor not just a mere governor.

However, the Commissioner for Works and Transport, yesterday,
insisted that the current administration was now bent on recovering
the balance of N635.7 million from the failed contract
Why did he walked away with that kind of money? He is also one of our major problem we have in the country.

And he has that kind of past and accepted the job of attack lion!
Politics › Re: Oil Discovered In Sokoto State by juman(m): 8:41am On Aug 23, 2012
gbadexy: Thank God. Nigeria will start getting better now. I know for a fact that a president initiated the search for oil in the north but I don't know which administration.
Let them see crude oil in a few more northern states and they would be the ones clamoring for what they have refused others; resource control, SNG, even possibly arewa republic.
The governor didn't follow the protocol, it's responsibility of federal government to announce the discovery of oil at any place.

Hope the governor was not day dreaming. grin

The so called leaders mind are only on OIL, OIL, OIL. For God shake they have human and other resources that they can make use of.
Politics › Re: Oil Discovered In Sokoto State by juman(m): 8:32am On Aug 23, 2012
Hope is not another lie like that of kwara state governor. grin

If it's true, thank God it will make the country easy to be divided.
Family › Re: Woul You Let Your Son Die To Bring Peace To Naija by juman(m):
Pacify: @OP, if your son dies to restore peace, I'm afraid he'd die a wasted death cos even if his death ends the Boko Haram menace in the North, it would not end the MEND wahala in the south, nor the Bakassi wahala in the east and even if it ends all that, it would not bring food to the hungry nor provide jobs for the thousands of people roaming in the street everyday. And of course you know the resultant effect of the aforementioned..so my dear, getting lasting solution is by solving Nigeria's immediate problem...CORRUPTION!!!!
^^^^^
Good response. OP is funny, grin

Die for nigeria is waste of life. grin.

Let the children of those destroying the country go and die for the country.

This is not a good way to go. Life is more than failing WAEC even five times. Proper preparation is needed to pass every exams.
