Good morning mamas.... Pls my 7 months old baby has been having serious catarrh and he can't get the mucus out of his nose and he is also having temperature because of it... Pls how can I get him to blow his nose for relief because it breaks my heart seeing him struggle with catarrh

Please check with your paediatrician, it might be ok to use but don't just use it because of any family pressure, if it has an adverse effect you will be the one to carry the burden.

Pls fams, has anyone use nospamine for stomach disorder in a month old baby ....my baby boy has been having stomach issue for days now and MIL is insisting I give him nospamine..

Pls help, how can I treat stomach pain in a month old baby... The stomach makes noise too even when he is sucking breast....

I remember I came to tell the group about my induction on 28th which was declined because hubby wasn't around, so hubby came back the following day and we concluded on going in the evening for induction but before that I started feeling the baby move plus the fact that the CTG and scan results came out fine and I was also scared of getting induced, so I told him that I want to wait till I go into labor naturally and I was already feeling some pains around my pubic region then, so I decided to wait.... I started feeling contractions around 1:30am which was 10 mins apart until 4am when I started having it strong and I woke hubby to start packing, we got to the hospital by 7am and I redo the CTG and it was normal, the Dr checked me and he said I dilated 4cm that I should be taken to labour ward, the Dr broke my water and they passed this drip called oxytocin and each contractions was hell until around 1pm when I was fully dilated and I thought my baby will come anytime soon not until diff Dr start coming in and they kept saying my baby's head was stucked that my cervix isn't opening for the baby to pass even after several pushes, I was already getting scared cos the baby has been going through a lot and they kept saying they can see baby's head, But there is this God sent Dr that came and started encouraging me to push at any contraction and I pushed and pushed, then he did episiotomy and he inserted one iron something like this , I don't know what it is used for sha, but I almost ran mad when he inserted it and I had this contractions and urge to push then I finally push him out at 4:22pm weighing 3.2 at birth and I felt this relief... Who said labour pain is easy... Abeg e no easy jare..... Thank God hubby was present throughout, he was crying after seeing our baby and very greatful...we came home after 2 days at d hospital and the sleepless night is another stress entirely...thanks to everyone for this journey.... Cappo, u re so wonderful, I pray all our LO grow to fulfill their destiny, to those still expecting, I pray you all deliver safely and to our TTC mums, you all shall come with good testimony soon...love you all

Listen to your doctor...you are past 40weeks already..As much as I know Hubby would love to be around, What really matters at the end is a healthy Mother and Baby...

Pls fams, I need help on this, I am 40 weeks plus, I went for antenatal today, so when d doc asked abt babies movement, I told him that the movement isn't that that strong as it was before so he said that I should be admitted and asked me to do CTG test and ultrasound and also get ready to be induce, after doing all the test and they came out fine but the doc insisted I get admitted and be induce, he said because I am a FTM and that am already full term but hubby is not around so I had to leave the hospital but after telling hubby, he doesn't want me to get induce... So I need advice on this....
Also, I have been feeling this ache in my pubic bone that makes my VG ache so much, I can't even walk straight, although I told d doc about it and he said it's d heaviness of the baby

I for don nack una the tory but I see say plenty dust been raise for here and be like say no be right time, plus I've been doing daddy duties!
My wife's pregnancy journey was very smooth and stress free.. We TTC'd for a year and God answered us July last year. We registered under a scheme the moment we realised she was preggy. I chose the scheme cos private hospitals in Port Harcourt can really be expensive.
I didn't miss any ANC session with my wife.. I have the time so I could narrate all these stories better.
Let's fast forward to week 33 which was a bit scary cos wify had a high BP which was handled with few medications. We were given 2 EDDs, 15th and 18th April... We did more than 8 scans during pregnancy, that's because my wife works at an ultra sound center at a point, I had to caution her. Most of the scan said 15th, while two said 18th.
Sunday 10th of April started as a normal cool Sunday, the day started with BD which madam initiated , I have to give in cos una know na..!
By 2pm that day, We were in the sitting room watching TV.. I laid on the sofa, while madam sat pon di floor. She then stood up to get something from the bedroom, that was when she noticed water gush! She called me and I was like so what next? She said we wait! Ngwanu, we dey wait. I been don pack bag keep since. I then call my neighbour, a mother of 4 to come help check my wife, she came and said yes.. Water e yaff break. Madam don wear comfit pad and we dey wait. Could you all believe that after two hours, with the water still running at intervals, there's no contraction whatsoever. All other signs that were supposed to follow refuse to show up. Wify was still laidat.. I come turn doctor dey ask her.. How are you feeling now? She said nothing. Ha.. Nothing ke. Oya begin walk upandan na.. She did and still nothing. Wo after about an hour, making it wakati Meta (3 hours) that water haff broken.. I told her, we're going to the hospiru . We got there about 6pm. They confirmed water haff broke but service sorry cervix yaff not open. Ha, my village people, not today pls .. Well they monitored her all through the night, Baby's heartbeat was fine and she was fine too.. They said its normal in FTMs for water to break and contractions could start 12-18 hours later.
24hrs has passed still nothing. We were then sent for scan at about 10am.. The result showed baby was 39weeks old that day with EDD being 18th April. But the woman said the baby has to come out within the next 48hrs. Ok kila mase bayi? What's next? The doctor said we wait till night that if no show, they'll induce her.
So I stepped out to stroll while wify went back to her bed. Let's than 30mins,i came back to the labor ward, my wife is already on oxygen and drip.. Ha edakun, wazall this? They said the Baby's heartbeat is fainting abi going up! Ejo, pardin?? Don't let me faint here!! My wife has never been sick or admitted in her almost 3 decades of existence.. So the whole oxygen thing traumatised her. I calmed her and told her its just oxygen and its for her and the baby.. I now asked, didn't we just do a scan and everything is fine?? Why on earth is the Baby's heartbeat going up.. to where? At this point, I was scared too but didn't show it. My wife was on drip cos she was weak at this point. My younger brother called me and I narrated everything to him.. That's when he gingered that we shouldn't wait till midnight for the inducement. I then met the doctor and spoke to him calmly. He said well, CS is the next thing that if we wait till that midnight, something could go wrong.. Ha.. Ejo sir, Eni soribu . He said if they induce her, it may not work so well will still come to the CS.
I say ese sir.. Leave inducement out of this.. Let's go straight to CS.. That's how my wife was prepared for it!
At exactly 6pm, 11th April, 2022, Our CP.. Crown Prince was brought out of the operation room .. I didn't know how to feel. He greeted me cry.. I said welcome son !
Ejo, Where's my wife?? After about Anada 15 minutes, I was called to come and assist to carry my wife out of the operation room. Stepping in, I saw my beautiful wife smile at me. I kissed her pon di forehead .... Chai, see love in the theater .
My boy weighed 3.5kg and 50cm tall. We left the clinic after 3days...with baby, mother and daddy doing Fantabulous
All Glory to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who saw us through the journey.. May His name alone be Praised... Amin

moms help me and thank God, i gave birth this morning, baby girl������,my water bust this morning, took hot bath that morning, rushed to maternity, the midwife checked me that i am 6cm,no sign of pains, na the woman put drip for me,30mins i gave birth, i thank God, i am feeling like were they pour very chilled water, for the rest mummys, God that did it for me will do it for you all, sharp delivery

I was really over joyed and i registered when pregnancy was 12weeks old.
You guys know dat for every new hospital u register with they will ask u questions on your health history and d rest.

During my first antenal class d matron read through my card and told me to see their consultant gnae which i did and he wrote on d front page of my antenatal report card to always see him after closure of each antenatal class, i tried my best not to miss each appointment till i put to bed.

Apart from d normal discomfort, I had a very smooth and energetic pregnancy both in da oza room till my last trimester

My Consultant told me they will be monitoring d pregnancy till 36weeks and bring baby out because of my previous experience to avoid story, after 36wks appointment with him he told me theres no cause for alarm that everything is fine.
he told me to report to d hospital if i don't fall into labour on my edd which was on April 4th so dat i will be induced.

April 5th i carried my bag to hospital and was placed on admission to be induced d next day, but d induction failed and the doctors, midwife told me to avoid emergency case d next thing they will do for me is CS to save baby and myself.

I asked d doctor's if i could sign d papers myself cos i was alone at dat time and they responded with a big YES.... They brought d papers Immediately and after signing them i was moved to the theater for caesarien section.

Hubby was on transit to come meet me in d hospital but before he got there my baby girl was already out and was screaming so loud in d theater......i didn't know when i started sharing tears of joy that finally am now a mother!!

Baby edd was April 4th
I gave birth to my baby girl via elective cs on April 6th
Birth weight.... 3.2kg
We were dischared 3days later(mother, baby alive)

My baby boy arrived at 1:56 this morning via vagina birth and episiotomy weighing 2.8kg... midwives were surprised at the weight because my stomach was super small.

My wife was scheduled for Elective CS on the 30th of March 2022 because our baby was in persistent Breached position.
on the 29th March Afternoon me and my wife went to the supermarket to purchase our baby christening cloth and by evening she request my mum to plat her hair. Exactly by 5 Pm of 29th she was having serious contraction. I told my wife to prepare herself for the Hospital. we waited for like 2 hrs may be the contraction will stop but she kept on squeezing her face.
I already assisted her to pack our baby Item and we head straight to the hospital.when we got to the hospital by 9 pm they check her file and as the Night Doctor was asking her some question she kept on squeezing her face but I assisted her to answer all the question because from Day 1 we always go for ANC together. The Doctor said i should go and make some necessary payment before they proceed. I was running up and down to make the payment but to God be the glory I got lean.

My wife was wheeled to the Theater and you know as per first time mum she was crying as i was encouraging her not to cry i do not know how water gets to my eyes as well.The operation was carried out by 11:30pm and after 30 min to 1 hr our LO came out smiling weighing 3.2kg.

Thank you to all the mamas in the house you all are highly recognized and safe delivery to the remaining
mamas as well.

I suffered from severe sciatica pains right from 6weeks (Imagine waddling when pregnancy never even start),I can’t do anything without being in pain because all my nerves were weak and sore. I practically hear my joints creak at every single movement. It was painful.
I told God to please, compensate me with the easiest and fastest labor ever because in all honesty, I deserve the compensation.
I have been having constant contractions Abi na Braxton kicks for many weeks prior to today. So when at some minutes past 3am, this contraction started, I knew this is not the usual game. It got intense that I started vomiting and this was my cue because same thing happened with my first and I gave birth few hours later.
We got to the hospital at 5:30 am, was checked and 7cm dilated. That alone gave me joy. At 6:54, I pushed my angel out, weighing 3.7kg without tears (another big compensation) I had an episiotomy with my first and she weighed 4kg. Glory be to God!

This same day, 2019, I gave birth to my first daughter. It’s surreal that my girls get to share the same birth date.?It wasn’t planned. The pregnancy happened when it wanted to, and my babies chose when they want to come.
So, while I’m celebrating a child for turning 3, I welcomed another. Praise the Lord!

I pray and declare that to the expectant moms, you’d deliver your bundles of joy with great testimonies in Jesus name. You all shall celebrate in Jesus name.

After the 4th IUI that failed in 2020 our Dr advised we move up to ivf but we should have myomectomy to take out the fibroid inpreparation for ivf and to also ptimize our chances. I had a successful myomectomy all glory to God and a large ovarian cyst was also taken out from my left ovary. The surgeon that performed the surgery was hopeful that we would get pregnant naturally within 3 months following the surgery but that didn't happen even after going for tubal flushing, so we went back to our ivf clinic for review and to start the ivf process, but I kept on postponing cos I was just scared and not ready to have another negative result, but finally in May/June 2021, we started the process and by the grace of God we got our bfp on our 1st try in July 2021 in our 7th year of marriage

Before we confirmed bfp, I developed ohss and lost hope that it would be positive, the ohss was so bad that I had to have the fluid drained from the side of my stomach, but I just kept telling God that would HE allow me go through all that and still get a negative result? 1st tri was not bad at all, though I was nauseous most of the time but I never threw up or had serious morning sickness, 2nd tri was a breeze but 3rd tri came with all its palava and I couldnt wait to offload

Right from when I started ANC at both private and govt hospital, I was scheduled for elective CS due to my history of myomectomy plus the private hospital said they don't take chances/risks with ivf pregnancy so I was told max gestation period for me would be 38 weeks and nothing beyond, so I was working with 38weeks delivery and decided to have the delivery at Luth only for us to go for ANC clinic and was told they won't even allow me get to 38weeks before they conduct the ELCS and so we were scheduled for Friday 18th March for surgery, and we had to change plans to work with new date I hadn't even rounded up work and needed to finish up by my day which was 16th March.

On Sunday 13th March I was too tired to go to church so I stayed back home, around 12noon i decided to eat some fruits dh bought and planned to cook fried rice for lunch. I decided that after washing the fruit I will quickly drive out to get the fried rice ingredients as hunger was already mamaring me, just as I stood up from where I was washing the fruits in the kitchen I felt this sharp pain that made me stop in my tracks the pain was breathtaking and I quickly sat back thinking it was lightning crotch and that it would fade away soon

I sat for some minutes and there was no relief infact my phone was ringing on the cabinet and I couldnt even stretch to pick it and just left it to ring not long after DH called and I knew if I don't pick he would panic so in that pain I managed to stretch and answered his call after some minutes I was able to manage to get to the bedroom and I laid down to sleep if the pain would relieve me, by this time I was so famished but there was nothing I could do DH called again after about an hour that he was leaving church but needed to stop by somewhere before getting home, I still didn't tell him I was in pain cos I was hopeful it would resolve after about an hour after and still no relief I called him and he was close by but he sensed something was wrong, he sha got home, helped me to the bathroom to shower and we headed to the hospital after stopping by to get something to eat, we got to the hospital, I was placed on admission and was told I was having contractions VE was done and good thing I wasn't dilating so contraction were stopped/ managed and I was told I would be on admission till my elcs date to be monitored

When dh got back home he moved our hospital box into the car that Sunday night, by Monday I was so much better but couldn't go to the office to have my handover but tried working in the hospital, I was told to carry out some test and if everything went well I would be transferred from labour ward to the admission ward, dh decided to leave hospital bag in his car since test results came back late so I couldn't be moved that Monday anymore.

At around 12am, I was still awake and watching a movie on my phone when the night Dr's were having the routine check, they discovered baby's heart rate was high and said baby was in distress so they needed to get him out ASAP, I tried to call dh but he wasn't picking and so that was how I was wheeled into surgery around 2am after trying to stabilise baby, surgery started and I just kept on praying and waiting to hear babyA, pediatrician was on ground and soon I heard BabyA's cry screaming down the whole place and surgeon was like this baby is not in any distress at all with the way he was crying, they didn't even let me see him the pediatrics team whisked him away, not long after I asked to see him and they said he was fine and was being checked that once they are through they will bring him to me, by this time I was balling my eyes out cos I just couldn't believe it that finally I am a mother, there was no cloth for babyA to wear so he was wrapped in their OR cloth inside that freezing OR they brought him to me and was told to confirm sex, surgery ended around after 5am I had to ask one cleaner for the time but couldn't call dh cos all my belongings had been taken to be kept, soon 1 Dr from the team came to check me in thr recovery area and it was his phone Iused to reach dh.

BabyA was kept in a cot by the foot of my bed and just kept on crying I couldn't move so I just kept on calling his name and asking him not to cry that daddy would soon be around. Not long afterwards dh arrived and babyA finally got something to wear and we were observed for a while before we got transfered to the ward, when I felt much better I picked him up from the cot and just kept on crying and praying for him am sure other ladies were wondering what is wrong with the one, but I could careless.

Anyways babyA and I were in perfect health despite his birth weight he was and still doing excellently well, inshort his birth assessment was very goof, we got discharged 3 days later and I tell you vigilante is very very real and nepa is annoyingly/ irritatingly mean, but we are taking one day at a time.

I use babyA as a point of contact to my TTC mamas that in no distant time you all will get to carry your bundle of joy in your womb and arms very very soon by God's grace

I wish the rest of my teamies yet to drop swift, safe and painless delivery and to those that have birthed their Lo's congratulations

To everyone who congratulated me and those that have checked up on me, thank you for your prayers and well wishes I really appreciate you guys and love you all

As my prince charming dey sleep, mk i use dt time write my BS (its like my baby go like sleep gan ooo, mk i no complain cs e good , i c y guy man no dey move much 4 belle )

To my story.

So i ve being having contraction since 34weeks but d contractn only happen in d midnight, me no dey worry cs e too early... But at d same time guy man no dey move much except i rob my belly n e will move to where i touch, dtz one of d signs i knw dt all is well by 35weeks 5days i was worried about his movement so i went to d hospital to complain so a CTG monitor was placed on me to monitor the babies movement n hrtbeat till d following day guy man moved well cs e like wen somtin touch my belle, e would move to d sight of where ots bein touched n his heartbeat reading was very perfect, went 4 scan all was well... So doctor said all is well dt i can go home. So i went home n baby movement improved a lil, n wen he is quite i stopped bordering mysef until i started having strong contraction every night but i was being stubborn i didnt phone d hospital 2 complain cs i want baby to reach 40weeks.... In d morning my body was alwz bk to normal until midnight i start contracting again... Den baby begin hois pattern of not moving well again... So at my appointment of 39weeks i complained to d doctor about baby movement so she refer me to triage department where dey check baby movement n wen baby dont move well n one is already full term, na inductn straight... So i was placed on d CTG 4 baby movement 4 1hr n baby only moved once, na so doc said i wud b induced dt very day, i shouted "induced"? I wasnt prepared, fear catch me... So doc said dey really dont knw wat causes baby not to move much in d womb, it can b caused by many factors since i am full term dt its safe 4 baby to come out now dan to b guessin dt all is well.. Naso i call husband say am gonna b induced, husband too shock... So i was transfer to anoda department 4 further examination... So d CTG was put on me again, not long i started contracting back to back.... D midwife was like madam u r in labour, u dont even need to be induced, i told her i ve been contracting like dis 4 long, dt d contractn stops in d morning... She dis VE n she confirmed dt i was in labour... So i was transfer to d labour waiting room.
Morning come n as usual contractn stopped but as God will it, i ws usher into d labour room at 8am, different consultant came to givee consultation machine was plug unto me to monitor my hrtbear, baby hrtbeat n how i ws contracting... A doctor came in to advice me to tk epidural, i was doin strong woman sayin dt i dont want so d doc went away.... Time to Break my water, eh God!!! Come n c shout wen dey were tryna break water... D pain ehhh.... I just told d midwife abeg bring me epidural, i am not doing strong woman again lol... So dey brought in d person dt will fix d epidural into my spine... Omo!!! Oyinbo do go far!!!! Til dey start d injectn of epidural to finish, i didnt feel any single pain like dis... All went smoothly... Wen dey even put hand inside me... I just knw say hand dey inside me, no pain at all... So dey pop d water but d water didnt come out immediately, i had to sit on d bouncing ball... All dis while no contractn stil... 2hrs later water started coming out... Lots of water... Even as water came out i was still not contracting n its already 1pm... My son stil chillaxing in d womb like say nothing dey bother him... By 2pm s mid wife suggest oxytocin, omo!! Fear caught me bcs of wat i do hear people sayin about dt drip.. Midwife told me we had no choice dan to use it ooo... I sha give up... All dis while i stil dey quote here... Naso dem carry oxy come oo... Pass d drip inside me.... Tnx to d epidural i didnt feel it much... Den contraction started comin but was irreguar n short... Midwife did VE, ws 3cm hmmm i was lik today na today... By 4pm contractn was gettin better n longer, naso midwife told me to turn oó say she wan do smtin, d turning i made made me hv dis mighty contractn i couldnt move, n i felt lik i wanna poo, midwife was lik dtz a gud sign, she demand to check me, wen she did i was fully dilated... Oya time 4 pushing... It was d most painless pushin i ve ever had, i didnt feel any pain, just pressure of baby comin out... I felt him coming out but d pushing no b here... Baby came out easy but wit tears ooo exactly 5:04pm imagine...!!! Tears again *roll eyes* ... Midmife sew me up, i felt not a tin til dey finish... Omo!!! Frm today on, i b fan of epidural abeg ... My labour was slow, it took almost 24hrs but tnk God we r here. Allahu Akbar!!!!.

Hmmm, I have been away for days. Thank God I m not back to share unpleasant stories.
Lesson Learnt. if u feel odd in a way, uncomfortable or pains u cant describe, pls visit hospital. And don't do Superwoman. I wouldn't want to bore u with details. It started with belly button poping out, and getting longer and longer, with abdominal pains. I google and asked around they said nah pregnancy.before I know it, i can't walk, stand,lie again.By 31st which was,my clinic day doc offered me to be placed on admission while I use drugs, I m like emi lion, cat with 7lives, just give me d drugs.i went home. To cut long story short, since feb 1 till now,I m still at d hospital.I feel better now,but baby is still under close monitoring.I would have saved more time if I had gone in earlier.thank God it wasn't too late for me. My pregnancy story is filled with testimonies.
